An ever-increasing number of sensor resources are being exposed via the World Wide Web to become part of the Digital ***,selection and use of these sensors and their observations require a robust sensor information model,but the consistent description of sensor metadata is a complex and difficult ***,the only available robust model is SensorML,which is intentionally designed in a very generic *** to this genericness,interoperability can hardly be achieved without the definition of application profiles that further constrain the use and expressiveness of the root *** far,such SensorML profiles have only been developed up to a limited *** work describes a new approach for defining sensor metadata,the Starfish Fungus Language(StarFL)*** language follows a more restrictive approach and incorporates concepts from the recently published Semantic Sensor Network Ontology to overcome the key issues users are experiencing with *** defines a restricted vocabulary and model for sensor metadata to achieve a high level of interoperability and a straightforward reusability of sensor descriptions.

The novel coronavirus pandemic,first reported in December 2019,was caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).SARS-CoV-2 infection leads to a strong immune response and activation of antigen-presenting cells,which can elicit acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)characterized by the rapid onset of widespread inflammation,the so-called cytokine *** response to viral infections,monocytes are recruited into the lung and subsequently differentiate into dendritic cells(DCs).DCs are critical players in the development of acute lung inflammation that causes ***,we focus on the interaction of a specific SARS-CoV-2 open reading frame protein,ORF8,with *** show that ORF8 binds to DCs,causes pre-maturation of differentiating DCs,and induces the secretion of multiple proinflammatory cytokines by these *** addition,we identified DC-SiGN as a possible interaction partner of ORF8 on *** of ORF8 leads to reduced production of iL-1β,iL-6,iL-12p70,TNF-α,MCP-1(also named CCL2),and iL-10 by ***,a neutralizing antibody blocking the ORF8-mediated cytokine and chemokine response could be an improved therapeutic strategy against SARS-CoV-2.

"HEATex"研究项目组正致力于开发一种功能化的3维(3D)结构内衣,用于在高温工作环境下穿在常规防护服的里面。这种防护内衣由多层结构组成,不同层发挥不同的功能效果。多层结构的一部分由间隔织物组成,一方面避免皮肤与防护服的内部覆盖层接触,防止因汗液引起的烫伤;另一方面,通过排湿产生冷却效果。采用不同局部刚度的间隔织物可同时实现这两种效果。织物刚度可在机器上通过织物加工过程中采用不同的间隔纱进行调节。除间隔织物外,还使用了潜热蓄能器,防止并延迟热量进入较深层。此外,还采用了反射层用于反射热辐射。

Using acupuncture instead of anesthetics to induce analgesia was performed in China many years ago in surgical anesthetization. Although many medical units in China's cities and rural areas are applying these techniques in operations, it should be pointed out that acupuncture anesthesia is still in the process of development and is of next to no practical and even less scientific value in the western world. However, acupuncture-assisted anesthesia can be useful also in countries other than China.
