Thi. paper presents the results of studyi.g the surface properti.s changes of a ther-moregulati.g coati.g based on polystyrene and si.i.aﬁller after proton i.radi.ti.n wi.h an en-ergy of 50 keV at afluence of 3�1015 cm�*** proton i.radi.ti.n,the values of the contact angle of wetti.g wi.h water i.crease by 3.5%and 14.9%for polystyrene and the coati.g,*** free surface energy(energy of the surface layer)of polystyrene and the coat-i.gs before and after proton i.radi.ti.n was calculated usi.g the Owens-Wendt-Rabel-Kaelble *** was a si.ni.cant i.crease i. the polari.y of the polystyrene surface(gp i.creased by a factor of 2.2)after proton *** the coati.g,an i.crease i. gp by a factor of 3.89 was observed after proton *** changes i. the coati.g were presented by i. Fouri.r spectroscopy.A sli.ht decrease i. the absorpti.n i.tensi.y of all characteri.ti. bands compared to the uni.radi.ted sample was *** was found that the i.radi.ti.n of the coati.g wi.h protons led to the formati.n of macromolecules wi.h hydroxyl,carbonyl,and carboxyl bonds,as well as the formati.n of di.eri. and oli.omeri. si.oxane *** was also found that after i.radi.ti.n of a pure polystyrene sample wi.h protons,the value of the solar absorpti.n as i.creased by only 4.2%;whereas for the coati.g wi.h si.i.aﬁller,the value of as i.creased by 28.6%.

Creati.n of fi.e cementless ash-slag concrete based on hi.h-calci.m ash and slag from thermal power plants i. the part of a Federal programme of Envi.onment Protecti.n. Long-term i.vesti.ati.ns i.to physi.al properti.s, chemi.al analysi., si.i.ate and ferri.erous decomposi.i.n, radi.nucli.es contents of fly ash and slag from the Abakan thermal power plant were performed. The results were compared wi.h up-to-date State Standards (25818-91, 26844-85) and Speci.i.ati.n (39-70.10898-88). Devi.ti.n from the requi.ements of the State Standards and Speci.i.ati.n were revealed, methods of treatment of ash (gri.di.g to the fi.eness of 450m2/kg) and slag (gri.di.g to sand wi.h a parti.le si.e of 0 to 5 mm) as well as techni.ue for produci.g hi.h-performance cementless concrete (i.troducti.n of mi.rosi.i.a, double heat treatment) were suggested. The work underwent the exami.ati.n by the Ni.ZhB and Moscow State Uni.ersi.y of Constructi.n and was patented (Patent N 2065420. Concrete Mi.ture). The project for by Commi.tee for Nature Preservati.n, Khakass Republi., was developed.

One of the problems speci.yi.g erosi.n of the cathode i. to establi.h the condi.i.ns gi.i.g ri.e to a di.fuse or contracted arc-cathode i.teracti.n i.dependent of i.s type and constructi.n. i. vari.us works transi.i.n from one i.teracti.n mode to another was related to the value of a cri.i.al current, a pressure range etc. A cri.eri.n related to a thermal state of the cathode has greater generali.y, si.ce i. essenti.lly vari.s wi.h the arc-cathode contacts. Fi.st of all i. relates to emi.si.n cooli.g relati.nshi. wi.h the other components of the cathode heat flux. i. i. establi.hed that i. the contracted sport the emi.si.n cooli.g exceeds the radi.ti.n one by a factor of 50 to 100. For a di.fuse contact the emi.si.n and radi.ti.n components of the cathode heat loss become comparable. A cathode thermal state i. the effect of the arc confi.ed head load. Under these condi.i.ns temperature i. the arc-cathode contact area depends on the geometri.al di.ensi.ns of the electrode. The effect of electrode thi.kness on temperature i. i.defi.i.e and depends on the thermophysi.al properti.s of the electrode, i.e. thermal conductance and i.s surface blackness.
