Objecti.e: The ai. of thi. work was to i.enti.y the ri.k factors for the occurrence of prem.turi.y at CHUPB. m.teri.ls and m.thods: a case-control study was perform.d between February and June 2021 at CHUPB. Our study populati.n consi.ted of prem.ture i.fants who were m.tched to full-term.newborns on a 1:1 basi.. The vari.bles studi.d were m.ternal characteri.ti.s (age, m.ri.al status, educati.n level, and occupati.n) as well as pregnancy (m.ternal hi.tory, prenatal care), deli.ery (m.ternal fever, rupture of m.m.ranes), and newborns (gestati.nal age, sex, and wei.ht). The chi.sup>2 test wi.h a si.ni.i.ance level of p 0.05 and the adjusted odds rati. were used. Results: A total of 609 newborns were hospi.ali.ed, 219 of whom.were prem.ture (36%), of whom.100 prem.ture i.fants m.eti.g the i.clusi.n cri.eri. were enrolled. m.ternal age 18 years was noted i. 20% of cases (adjusted OR = 2.94 [0.86 - 10.06]) versus 5% of controls. Low educati.nal level was noted i. 47% (adjusted OR = 4.33 [1.88 - 9.96]) of cases versus 14% of controls. The ri.k factors i.enti.i.d were previ.us preterm.deli.ery (adjusted OR = 0.06 [0.00 - 0.80]), m.ternal fever before labor (adjusted OR = 0.43 [0.20 - 0.90]), and prem.ture rupture of m.m.rane (RPm., (adjusted OR = 0.32 [0.16 - 0.64]). There was no associ.ti.n between m.ri.al status and i.suffi.i.nt prenatal vi.i.s (ANC) i. relati.n to the occurrence of prem.turi.y. Conclusi.n: The reducti.n of preterm.bi.ths requi.es i.proved m.ni.ori.g of pregnancy, deli.ery and care of the newborn. But pri.ary preventi.n li.s i. i.provi.g the li.i.g condi.i.ns of the populati.n.

Gold concentrati.n usually consi.ts of gravi.y separati.n, flotati.n, cyani.ati.n, or the com.i.ati.n of these processes. The choi.e am.ng these processes depends on the m.0}eralogi.al characteri.ati.n and gold content of the ore. Recently, the recovery of gold usi.g gravi.y m.thods has gai.ed attenti.n because of low cost and envi.onm.ntally fri.ndly operati.ns. i. thi. study, gold pre-concentrates were produced by the stepwi.e gravi.y separati.n and flotati.n techni.ues. The Knelson concentrator and conventi.nal flotati.n were em.loyed for the recovery of gold. Gold beari.g ore sam.les were taken from.Güm.shane Regi.n, northern east part of Turkey. As a result of stepwi.e Knelson concentrati.n experi.ents, a gold concentrate assayi.g around 620 g/t i. produced wi.h 41.4wt% recovery. On the other hand, a gold concentrate about 82 g/t i. obtai.ed wi.h 89.9wt% recovery from.a gold ore assayi.g 6 g/t Au by di.ect flotati.n.
