i.troducti.n: Sexuali.y i. the postpartum peri.d i. a taboo subject that rai.es many questi.ns, especi.lly among women. The ai. of thi. study was to evaluate the i.fluence of factors such as mode of deli.ery, pari.y, type of household and level of educati.n on the resumpti.n of sexuali.y, by compari.g our results wi.h those i. the li.erature. Methods: Thi. i. a prospecti.e descri.ti.e and analyti.al study, whi.h took place from 3 Apri. to 2 June 2023 i. the materni.y ward of the i.nace Deen Nati.nal Hospi.al of the Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al Centre of Conakry. The sample i.cluded marri.d women who had gi.en bi.th once or several ti.es. Results: Of 118 marri.d women who had gi.en bi.th once or several ti.es and who were questi.ned about thei. sexuali.y i. the postpartum peri.d, 75.42% (89 cases) stated that they had resumed sexual acti.i.y i. the postpartum peri.d. (The majori.y were aged 20 - 29 years (46.61%), pauci.pares (51.69%), li.i.g i. a monogamous household (88.14%), wi.h secondary educati.n (44.92%) and self-employed (38.98%). More than half (58.47%) of these women had a normal vagi.al deli.ery wi.h vulvo-peri.eal tear (5.80%), epi.i.tomy (15.94%) and i.strumental extracti.n (8.69%). The mai. reasons for resumi.g sexual acti.i.y were the desi.e to sati.fy thei. partner (50.56%) and to mai.tai. the harmony of the couple (29.21%). Resumpti.n of sexual acti.i.y was more common i. pati.nts who had gi.en bi.th by caesarean secti.n (p = 0.007) and i. pati.nts wi.h a hi.her level of educati.n (p = 0.03). However, i. was not i.fluenced by pari.y or household type. Conclusi.n: Sexuali.y remai.s a taboo subject, and i.s resurgence i. the postpartum peri.d i. i.fluenced by the mode of deli.ery and the level of educati.n and percepti.n of women. Certai. practi.es and compli.ati.ns related to chi.dbi.th can also i.fluence the resumpti.n of sexuali.y i. the postpartum peri.d.

Objecti.e: The ai. of thi. study was to descri.e the use of the postpartum i.trauteri.e devi.e i. the materni.y ward of the Ratoma communal medi.al center i. Conakry. Methods: Thi. was a descri.ti.e cross-secti.nal study carri.d out between July 1st 2015 and June 30 2016, i.e. a durati.n of one year. Results: A total of 551 pati.nts recei.ed advi.e on vari.us contracepti.e methods. Most of thi. advi.e was gi.en i. the post-partum peri.d (40.2%) and duri.g antenatal care (39.1%). Of the pati.nts advi.ed, 87 (15.8%) used the i.trauteri.e devi.e. The majori.y of users (93%) were marri.d and uneducated (63.2%), and 39.1% were poor. The majori.y (56.3%) of i.tra-uteri.e devi.es were i.serted i. the i.medi.te post-partum peri.d. The majori.y of women had no adverse events ei.her duri.g the fi.st si. weeks (n = 57;65.5%) or at 3rd months (n = 75;86.2%) or 6th months (n = 76;87.4%) after i.D i.serti.n. Most users remai.ed compli.ati.n-free throughout the follow-up peri.d (n = 76;87.4% at 6th weeks and 3rd months, and n = 77;88.5% at 6th months). The conti.uati.n rate was 89.7% at 6 weeks and 3rd months, and 87.4% at 6th months after i.serti.n. The majori.y of users (87.0%) were sati.fi.d wi.h the care they recei.ed. Conclusi.n: Thi. study showed very few compli.ati.ns among i.trauteri.e devi.e users, and hi.h conti.uati.n and sati.facti.n rates. The i.trauteri.e devi.e i. a long-acti.g, effecti.e, reversi.le and safe contracepti.e that can be used by most women for bi.th spaci.g i. Gui.ea, where women do not regularly vi.i. health faci.i.i.s.

i.troducti.n: Hi., the human i.munodefi.i.ncy vi.us, i. the eti.logi.al agent of acqui.ed i.munodefi.i.ncy syndrome (Ai.S). The ai. of thi. study was to assess the evoluti.n of the vi.al load i. pati.nts under treatment. Methodology: Thi. was a study carri.d out from July 2017 to June 2022 at the Poi.t G Uni.ersi.y Hospi.al laboratory. The determi.ati.n of the vi.al load of pati.nts was carri.d out by PCR on the ABOTT M2000sp/rt platform. Results: A total of 129 pati.nts i.fected wi.h Hi.-1, aged 19 to 72 years wi.h a mean age of 40.05 years ± 10.71;all on anti.etrovi.al chemotherapy. The female gender predomi.ated among our pati.nts. The most common treatment regi.en was 2i.Ti.+ 1i.NTi.wi.h 72.9% followed by 2i.Ti.+ 1i.i.wi.h 13.2%. As for the combi.ati.ns of molecules, the combi.ati.n TDF + 3TC + EFV and TDF + 3TC + DTG predomi.ated, respecti.ely 65.1% and 13.2%. 89.9% of our pati.nts had undetectable vi.emi. after 12 months of treatment (p i.h an average vi.al load whi.h had evolved from 681315.65 copi.s/ml ± 1616908.484 to M0 at 5742.36 copi.s /ml ± 35756.883 at M12 (p Conclusi.n: Generally speaki.g, anti.etrovi.al treatment had contri.uted to controlli.g vi.al loads, however the therapeuti. combi.ati.n TDF + 3TC + DTG had made i. possi.le to obtai. more pati.nts wi.h undetectable vi.emi. i.stead.

For thi. i.di.ati.n, vagi.al hysterectomy consti.utes an alternati.e to vagi.al expulsi.n wi.h a hi.h ri.k of uteri.e rupture and to classi. abdomi.al cesarean secti.n wi.h ri.k of si.ni.i.ant surgi.al trauma, parti.ularly adhesi.ns. However, thi. surgi.al techni.ue, descri.ed si.ce the 19th century, remai.s unknown to many practi.i.ners and few publi.ati.ns exi.t on the subject throughout the world. Consi.ered obsolete by some practi.i.ners, i. retai.s all i.s advantages i. the practi.e of modern obstetri.s. We report thi. case of expulsi.n of fetal death on a tri.scarred uterus performed by vagi.al cesarean secti.n at the Health Di.tri.t Reference Health Center (Di.tri.t Hospi.al) of Commune i.i. Peri.eal trauma i. a non-surgi.al soluti.n of conti.ui.y of posteri.r peri.eal commi.ti.g under the effect of a vi.lent exerti.n duri.g chi.dbi.th. i. occurs at the ti.e of di.engagement, ei.her from the head or the posteri.r shoulder. Objecti.es: To calculate the peri.ea trauma duri.g chi.dbi.th, descri.e the soci. demographi. profi.e of the women i. chi.dbed, i.enti.y contri.utory effects and appreci.te the maternal prognosti.. Methodology: i. was a prospecti.e study, descri.ti.e type of 6 months (from May 19 to November 20, 2014). i. took place at the materni.y ward of Donka Nati.nal Hospi.al. i. concerned all recei.ed parturi.nt, women i. bed of a si.gle fetus i. the uni. and havi.g had a peri.eum traumati.m. The real ones were epi.emi.logi., therapeuti. cli.i.al and prognosti.. Results: We have recorded 110 peri.ea traumati.m cases over 3496 chi.dbi.th let say a frequency of 3%. The soci. demographi. profi.e of the woman who di. peri.ea traumati.m was a teenager (42.7%), professi.nal occupati.n (29.1%), marri.d (88.2%), schooled, secondary and Techni.al level (42.7%), pri.ary (70%) havi.g had more than 3 prenatal consultati.ns (73.6%). Contri.utory effects were: pri. pari.y, young age, i.strumental extracti.n by obstetri.al forceps and the fetal wei.ht between 2500 to 3999 g. Surgi.al management was (100%). The followi.g were si.ple i. 88.2% cases versus 11. 8% of compli.ati.ns. Conclusi.n: The reducti.n of thi. frequency requests systemati.al practi.e and corrects recentered prenatal consultati.ns and the respect of epi.i.tomy i.di.ati.ns.

Experi.ental studi.s i. laboratory condi.i.ns on the i.fluence of cycli. freezi.g-thawi.g (FTC) and wetti.g-dryi.g (WDC) on the quali.y i.di.ators of li.ni.es have been carri.d out, thei. granulometri. (fracti.nal) composi.i.n has been studi.d. Freezi.g-thawi.g cycle condi.i.ns are as follows (FTC): mi.i.um exposure temperature: -20°C;maxi.um: +5°C;relati.e humi.i.y: 30%;number of processi.g cycles: 3. Wetti.g-dryi.g cycles are as follows (WDC): dryi.g temperatures are +20, +40, +60, +80°C, dryi.g ti.e 90 mi.utes, the coals are further subjected to rai. (soaki.g) for a peri.d of water saturati.n to humi.i.y of 30% - 40% and dry agai.. The number of wetti.g-dryi.g cycles i. 3 ti.es. The tests have revealed the destructi.e effects of FTC and WDC on the samples of lower metamorphi. grade coal, and the cycles of wet-dry lead to the much hi.her yi.ld of fi.e si.es (-6+0;-13+0 mm) than the cycles of freeze-thaw. Furthermore, i. i. found that the i.crease i. the yi.ld of fi.es depends on the heati.g temperature: coal di.i.tegrati.n proceeds more i.tensi.ely at a hi.her temperature of dryi.g.

Thi. paper presents a new di.ensi.n reducti.n strategy for medi.m and large-scale li.ear programmi.g problems. The proposed method uses a subset of the ori.i.al constrai.ts and combi.es two algori.hms: the wei.hted average and the cosi.e si.plex algori.hm. The fi.st approach i.enti.i.s bi.di.g constrai.ts by usi.g the wei.hted average of each constrai.t, whereas the second algori.hm i. based on the cosi.e si.i.ari.y between the vector of the objecti.e functi.n and the constrai.ts. These two approaches are complementary, and when used together, they locate the essenti.l subset of i.i.i.l constrai.ts requi.ed for solvi.g medi.m and large-scale li.ear programmi.g problems. After reduci.g the di.ensi.n of the li.ear programmi.g problem usi.g the subset of the essenti.l constrai.ts, the soluti.n method can be chosen from any sui.able method for li.ear programmi.g. The proposed approach was appli.d to a set of well-known benchmarks as well as more than 2000 random medi.m and large-scale li.ear programmi.g problems. The results are promi.i.g, i.di.ati.g that the new approach contri.utes to the reducti.n of both the si.e of the problems and the total number of i.erati.ns requi.ed. A tree-based classi.i.ati.n model also confi.med the need for combi.i.g the two approaches. A detai.ed numeri.al example, the general numeri.al results, and the stati.ti.al analysi. for the deci.i.n tree procedure are presented.
