Occasional irregular initial solidification phenomena,including stickers,deep oscillation marks,depressions,and surface cracks of strand shells in continuous casting molds,are important limitations for developing the high-efficiency continuous casting of *** application of mold thermal monitoring(MTM) systems,which use thermocouples to detect and respond to temperature variations in molds,has become an effective method to address irregular initial solidification *** systems are widely applied in numerous steel companies for sticker breakout ***,monitoring the surface defects of strands remains ***,indepth research is necessary to utilize the potential advantages and comprehensive monitoring of MTM *** paper summarizes what is included in the irregular initial solidification phenomena and systematically reviews the current state of research on these phenomena by the MTM ***,the influences of mold slag behavior on monitoring these phenomena are ***,the remaining problems of the formation mechanisms and investigations of irregular initial solidification phenomena are discussed,and future research directions are proposed.

With continuous hydrocarbon exploration extending to deeper basins,the deepest industrial oil accumulation was discovered below 8,200 m,revealing a new exploration ***,the extent to which oil exploration can be extended,and the prediction of the depth limit of oil accumulation(DLOA),are issues that have attracted significant attention in petroleum *** it is difficult to characterize the evolution of the physical properties of the marine carbonate reservoir with burial depth,and the deepest drilling still cannot reach the ***,the DLOA cannot be predicted by directly establishing the relationship between the ratio of drilling to the dry layer and the *** this study,by establishing the relationships between the porosity and the depth and dry layer ratio of the carbonate reservoir,the relationships between the depth and dry layer ratio were obtained *** depth corresponding to a dry layer ratio of 100%is the *** on this,a quantitative prediction model for the DLOA was finally *** results indicate that the porosity of the carbonate reservoir,Lower Ordovician in Tazhong area of Tarim Basin,tends to decrease with burial depth,and manifests as an overall low porosity reservoir in deep *** critical porosity of the DLOA was 1.8%,which is the critical geological condition corresponding to a 100%dry layer ratio encountered in the *** depth of the DLOA was 9,000 *** study provides a new method for DLOA prediction that is beneficial for a deeper understanding of oil accumulation,and is of great importance for scientific guidance on deep oil drilling.

The Floquet technique provides a novel anomalous topological phase for non-equilibrium phase transitions. Based on the high symmetry of the quantum anomalous Hall model, the findings suggest a one-to-one correspondence between the average spin texture and the Floquet quasi-energy spectrum. A new approach is proposed to directly measure the quasi-energy spectrum, replacing previous measurements of the average spin texture. Finally, we proposed a reliable experimental scheme based on ion trap platforms. This scheme markedly reduces the measurement workload, improves the measurement fidelity, and is applicable to multiple platforms such as cold atoms and nuclear magnetic resonance.

This study presents a hybrid data-mining framework based on feature selection algorithms and clustering methods to perform the pattern discovery of high-speed railway train rescheduling strategies(RSs).The proposed model is composed of two *** the first state,decision tree,random forest,gradient boosting decision tree(GBDT)and extreme gradient boosting(XGBoost)models are used to investigate the importance of *** features that have a high influence on RSs are first *** the second state,a K-means clustering method is used to uncover the interdependences between RSs and the influencing features,based on the results in the first *** proposed method can determine the quantitative relationships between RSs and influencing *** results clearly show the influences of the factors on RSs,the possibilities of different train operation RSs under different situations,as well as some key time periods and key trains that the controllers should pay more attention *** research in this paper can help train traffic controllers better understand the train operation patterns and provides direction for optimizing rail traffic RSs.

Conventional thermosetting polymers, mostly derived from nonrenewable petroleum resources, are not reprocessable and recyclable due to their highly cross-linked three-dimensional networks and face the disadvantage of high flammability. To solve these issues, in this study, we synthesized a novel Schiff base covalent adaptable thermoset from a furan-derived tri-aldehyde monomer(TMFP) and a furan-derived di-amine monomer(DFDA).The as-prepared TMFP-DFDA-Vitrimer exhibited superior anti-flammability with a high limiting oxygen index(LOi) of 35.0% and a UL-94 V-0 rating, which was attributed to the excellent charring ability. Additionally, TMFPDFDA-Vitrimer could also be conveniently recycled by chemical decomposition under a mixed hydrochloric acid/tetrahydrofuran(HCl/THF) solution. After recycling for 5 times, the thermal, mechanical, and flame retardant properties of the recycled TMFP-DFDA-Vitrimer retained almost unchanged compared to the original one. This work provides a prime instance to develop advanced thermosetting polymers from abundant furan-based compounds.

in the summer of 2022,China(especially the Yangtze River Valley,YRV)suffered its strongest heatwave(HW)event since *** this study,we examined the influences of multiscale variabilities on the 2022 extreme HW in the lower reaches of the YRV,focusing on the city of *** found that about 1/3 of the 2022 HW days in Shanghai can be attributed to the long-term warming trend of global *** mid-summer of 2022,an enhanced western Pacific subtropical high(WPSH)and anomalous double blockings over the Ural Mountains and Sea of Okhotsk,respectively,were associated with the persistently anomalous high pressure over the YRV,leading to the extreme *** Pacific Decadal Oscillation played a major role in the anomalous blocking pattern associated with the HW at the decadal time ***,the positive phase of the Atlantic Multidecadal Oscillation may have contributed to regulating the formation of the double-blocking *** warming of both the warm pool of the western Pacific and tropical North Atlantic at the interannual time scale may also have favored the persistency of the double blocking and the anomalously strong *** the subseasonal time scale,the anomalously frequent phases 2-5 of the canonical northward propagating variability of boreal summer intraseasonal oscillation associated with the anomalous propagation of a weak Madden-Julian Oscillation suppressed the convection over the YRV and also contributed to the ***,the 2022 extreme HW originated from multiscale forcing including both the climate warming trend and air-sea interaction at multiple time scales.
