Microfungi have been explored further as supplement constituents in shrimp culture due to their rich protein,lipid,essential amino acids,fatty acids,and various bioactive *** researchers have evaluated the effects of two microfungi powders(Mucor circinelloides and Trichoderma harzianum)as feed supplements on growth performance,bacterial communities,and the biomass nutritional profile of white shrimp(Litopenaeus vannamei).The results showed that commercial/artificial feed(Feng-Li)with supplementation microfungi powder had a different effect on white shrimp growth performance than control after 62 days of the grow-out *** with 1.5%*** powder(M-2)could improve the growth performance of white shrimp,especially the survival rate(81.33%),final body weight(5.21 g),and shrimp biomass(211.35 g).in contrast,supplementation with 1.5%*** powder(T-2)did not improve the growth performance of white shrimp compared to control(p>0.05).Furthermore,it also affected the profile of the bacterial community in culture water as well as in shrimp *** with both microfungi could reduce the total number of bacteria in culture water at the end of the experiment,where the lowest number was obtained in treatment T-2(3.9×10^(5)CFU/mL),followed by M-2(9.9×10^(5)CFU/mL)and control(4.4×10^(6)CFU/mL).in the culture water,20 isolates of culturable bacteria were found during the trial,with the dominant bacteria in M-2:Bacillus cereus,Bacillus velezensis,Gordonia polyisoprenivorans,T-2:Acinetobacter sp.,Gordonia polyisoprenivorans,Micrococcus *** on average well colour development(AWCD),the highest bacterial activity was in the M-2(0.297-0.707),followed by T-2(0.226-0.717)and control(0.094-0.694).The highest substrate group utilised in M-2 and T-2 were polymers(0.896 and 1.348)and control:amines(0.100).The highest Shannon diversity index was obtained in the M-2(2.508),followed by control(2.286)and the T-2(2.157).As many as

Displacement monitoring in open-pit mines is one of the important tasks for safe management of mining *** interferometric synthetic aperture radar(DinSAR),mounted on an artificial satellite,has the potential to be a cost-effective method for monitoring surface displacements over extensive areas,such as open-pit *** requires the ground surface elevation data in the process of its analysis as a digital elevation model(DEM).However,since the topography of the ground surface in open-pit mines changes largely due to excavations,measurement errors can occur due to insufficient information on the elevation of mining *** this paper,effect of different elevation models on the accuracy of the displacement monitoring results by DinSAR is investigated at a limestone *** addition,validity of the DinSAR results using an appropriate DEM is examined by comparing them with the results obtained by global positioning system(GPS)monitoring conducted for three years at the same limestone *** is found that the uncertainty of DEMs induces large errors in the displacement monitoring results if the baseline length of the satellites between the master and the slave data is longer than a few hundred *** the monitoring results of DinSAR and GPS,the root mean square error(RMSE)of the discrepancy between the two sets of results is less than 10 mm if an appropriate DEM,considering the excavation processes,is *** is proven that DinSAR can be applied for monitoring the displacements of mine slopes with centimeter-level accuracy.

Chitosan-praseodymium complex for adsorption of fluoride ions from water

Engineering of chitosan by praseodymium has been investigated to improve the adsorption properties as well as physical characteristics of chitosan. Modification of chitosan changes the original properties of chitosan so that it can be more suitable for adsorption of fluoride ions. in this study, chitosan-praseodymium （Chi-Pr） was synthesized by impregnation method. The Chi-Pr complex was characterized by scanning electron microscopic-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （SEM-EDX）, Fourier transform infrared （FTiR） and employed as an adsorbent for removal of fluorides ions from water in the batch system. The variables such as contact time, concentration of Pr, adsorbent dose, initial concentration of fluoride ions, and competitor anions were studied. The adsorption efficiency of fluoride ions （n） with increasing Pr loading into chitosan （5 wt.%, 10 wt.%, 15 wt.%, 20 wt.% and 25 wt.%） were 35.5%, 56.1%, 72.0%, 68.5% and 62.5%, respectively. The Chi-Pr （15 wt.%） complex had the highest fluoride removal efficiency （72.0%）. The experimental data fitted well to the Langmuir isotherm with maximum adsorption capacity （qmax） of 15.87 mg/g and an equilibrium constant （kL） of 0.15 mg. Kinetic study revealed that the adsorption of fluoride ions from water followed pseudo-second-order model with a maximum adsorption capacity （q2） of 8.20 mg/g and a rate constant （k2） of 0.01 g/***. Adsorption efficiency of fluoride ions in the simulated drinking water was diminished with the changes in pH levels. The presence of Pr3＋ in chitosan increased chitosan＇s performance as an adsorbent for adsorption of fluoride ions.

Seaweed has the ability to use carbon from the environment through photosynthesis to produce biomass. The aim of this study is to estimate carbon sequestration by seaweed aquaculture as a strategy for climate change mitigation. The study was undertaken at Gerupuk Bay, Lombok island, West Nusa Tenggara Province, indonesia. Four seaweed variants, such as Kappaphycus alvarezii var. Tambalang and Maumere, K. striatum and Eucheuma denticulatum, were cultivated with long-line system for three cultivation periods, starting from July to November, 2013. Each cultivation period was taken about 45 days. Parameters including weight increasement and carbon content of seaweeds were measured every 15 days of culture for each cultivation period in order to calculate carbon sequestration rate. The results showed that E. denticulatum had the highest carbon sequestration rate and significantly different （P 〈 0.05） compared with other variants for every cultivation period. Different seaweed variants have different capacity on carbon sequestration. Optimal utilization of the potential area for seaweed aquaculture could reduce a great quantity of CO2 from the atmosphere and help to mitigate global climate change process.

The purpose of the study is to know the articulation of lifestyle in community after people sold their lands at Kutuhvillage, South Kuta County. This research began with to do investigation into village inventory people who soldtheir lands and then classified into several subsequent of the lifestyle according to this data. After that, theinformation was examined from view of the articulation of lifestyle in community after people sold lands *** research was carried out with the method of survey and observations on the field about the lifestyle incommunity after people sold lands. The researcher used the method of purposive samplings that were specified keyinformants and continued in the method of snowball in the purpose to get much data and information from anothersources. And this research used interviews as tool of investigation of an interview. From the results of interviewswith interviewers, researcher examined these informations and the form of change to descriptive. From the resultsof the study, researcher can conclude that the articulation of lifestyle in community has been described that thetraditional lifestyle changes to modem lifestyle, for examples, clothing patterns, the pattern of food, recreationalpatterns, the ownership of the means of transport, the condition of the dwelling house architecture, and places ofworship.

Coral trout Plectropomus leopardus is a high-economical value of marine fish ***,the larviculture for this species should be performed in hatchery scale for their *** of the important thing in larval stage is hormonal *** hormone is known plays an important role in the metamorphosis of marine fish *** source of that hormone is assumed derived from zooplankton as their live *** live feeds commonly used for marine fish larvae in hatchery are zooplankton copepods and *** purpose of this research to determine the influence of feeding copepods and rotifers on thyroid hormone profile activity,consisted of triiodothyronine(T3)and thyroxine(T4),related to the metamorphoses of coral trout *** research was conducted using three feeding schemes:copepods(A),copepods-rotifers(B),and rotifers(C).it was done for 50 Days After Hatching(DAH).The results showed that larvae from treatment(A)and(B)achieved the highest level of T3 and T4 earlier at 30 DAH,which indicated that both of those larvae have entered the metamorphosis stage *** the other hand,larvae from treatment(C)achieved it and entered the metamorphosis stage later at 40 *** addition,iodine levels in the copepods were significantly higher than those of in rotifers(Pis research,live feeds copepods and rotifers have effect on thyroid hormone *** have better potential in accelerating the metamorphosis achievement of coral trout larvae with the fact that they have higher iodine content.
