The study provides a baseline for the assessment of the organic and inorganic pollution specially, heavy metal contamination in the surface sediments of Pyeongchang River,South *** assessment of the study areas was done with respect to metal pollution load,ecological risk and geoaccumulated *** upon the used indices,a priority index(P) was used to rank the utmost contaminated *** the concentrations of mercury in all sediments were below the guideline, the significant enriched contamination was observed by all applied *** expected,the values of pollution load index(PLi),ecological risk index(Ri) and geoaccumulation risk index(i) demonstrated lower heavy metal contamination in upstream areas compared to the downstream. Admittedly,sediments were unpolluted to slightly-polluted according to PLi while high to extremely high ecological risks were observed in several sediment ***,all the samples were uncontaminated as per *** simplification of i,the P,showed the utmost contaminated sediments with a value of ***,protective measures should be taken to the highly contaminated areas which are prioritized by PAdmittedly,the maximum concentrations of total organic carbon,total nitrogen,inorganic nitrogen,total phosphorous,inorganic phosphorous,calcium, magnesium,sodium and potassium were significantly observed as 7.8×10~4,3,185,36,1,032,3.7, 1,5163,2,881,669 and 4,076mg/kg accordingly.

Emerging economies provide interesting scenarios for examining how institutional context influences the financing behavior of firms. in this study, we examine the capital structure of Chinese listed firms following the SplitShare Structure Reform of 2005. This reform allowed a reduction of government ownership by making government shares tradable. We find that the impact of government ownership on leverage is dependent on whether the government is the largest shareholder in a firm and whether the government ownership is through a parent state-owned enterprise. in addition, we document that the largest non-government shareholder positively influences ***, our results reveal that the largest controlling shareholder, either government or non-government, has a significant impact on the capital structure of Chinese firms.

Electromagnetic coupling via an evanescent field or radiative wave is a primary characteristic of light,allowing optical signal/power transfer in a photonic circuit but limiting integration density.A leaky mode,which combines both evanescent field and radiative wave,causes stronger coupling and is thus considered not ideal for dense *** we show that a leaky oscillation with anisotropic perturbation rather can achieve completely zero crosstalk realized by subwavelength grating(SWG)*** oscillating fields in the SWGs enable coupling coefficients in each direction to counteract each other,resulting in completely zero *** experimentally demonstrate such an extraordinarily low coupling between closely spaced identical leaky SWG waveguides,suppressing the crosstalk by≈40 dB compared to conventional strip waveguides,corresponding to≈100 times longer coupling *** leaky-SWG suppresses the crosstalk of transverse–magnetic(TM)mode,which is challenging due to its low confinement,and marks a novel approach in electromagnetic coupling applicable to other spectral regimes and generic devices.

Wheat （Triticum aestivum） seeds were treated with atmospheric pressure gliding arc discharge plasmas to investigate the effects on water absorption, seed germination rate, seedling growth and yield in wheat. The surface architectures and functionalities of the seeds were found to modify due to plasma treatments. 6 rain treatment was provided 95%-100% germination rate. For the treatment duration of 3 and 9 rain the growth activity, dry matter accumulation, leaves chlorophyll contents, longest spikes, number of spikes/spikelet and total soluble protein content in shoots were improved. The grain yield of wheat was increased ,--20% by 6 min treatment with H2O/O2 plasma with respect to control.

This paper presents a textile-based C-shaped split-ring resonators(SRR)metamaterial(MTM)unit cells with an electrical tunability *** proposed MTM was composed of two symmetrical C-shaped SRR combined with a central diagonal metal bar,whereas the RF varactor diode is placed on the backside of the splitted ground *** behavior of single and array MTM unit cells were analyzed while the achieved negative index physical characteristics were widely *** four different MTM arrays(i.e.,1×1,1×2,2×1,and 2×2)were analyzed in simulation,a 2×2-unit cell array was chosen to fabricate,and it was further undergone experimental *** proposed tunable MTM exhibits double negative(DNG)/left-handed properties with an average bandwidth of more than 2.8 ***,attainable negative permittivity and negative permeability are within 2.66 to 9.59 GHz and within 2.77 to 15 GHz,respectively,at the frequency of interest(between 1 and 15 GHz).Moreover,the proposed tunable MTM also showed tunable transmission coefficient *** proposed electrically tunable textile MTM might function in a dynamic mode,making it suitable for a variety of microwave-wearable applications.A satisfactory agreement between simulations and experiments were achieved,demonstrating that the proposed MTM can operate over a wide bandwidth.

Glycyrrhiza glabra,Mint,Cuminum cyminum,Lavender and Arctium medicinal are considered as edible plants with therapeutic properties and as medicinal plants in *** extraction process of medicinal plants,residual wastes are not suitable for animal feed and are considered as waste and as an environmental *** present there is no proper management of waste of these plants and they are burned or *** present study discusses the possibility of biogas production from Glycyrrhiza Glabra Waste(GGW),Mentha Waste(MW),Cuminum Cyminum Waste(CCW),Lavender Waste(LW)and Arctium Waste(AW).250 g of these plants with TS of 10%were digested in the batch type reactors at the temperature of 35℃.The highest biogas production rate were observed to be 13611 mL and 13471 mL for CCW and GGW(10%TS),*** the maximum methane was related to GGW with a value of 9041 mL(10%TS).The highest specific biogas and methane production were related to CCW with value of 247.4 mL.(***)-1 and 65.1 mL.(***)-1,*** an important result,it was obvious that in lignocellulose materials,it cannot be concluded that the materials with similar ratio of C/N has the similar digestion and biogas production ability.

Due to the accumulation of an enormous amount of plastic waste from municipal and industrial sources in landfills,landfill leachate is becoming a significant reservoir of *** release of microplastics from landfill leachate into the environment can have undesirable effects on humans and *** study provides the state of the science regarding the source,detection,occurrence,and remediation of microplastics in landfill leachate based on a comprehensive review of the scientific literature,mostly in the recent *** waste and wastewater treatment residue are the primary sources of microplastics in landfill *** concentration in raw and treated landfill leachate varied between 0-382 and 0-2.7 items L^(−1).Microplastics in raw landfill leachate are largely attributable to local plastic waste production and solid waste management ***,polystyrene,and polypropylene are the most prevalent microplastic polymers in landfill *** though the colors of microplastics are primarily determined by their parent plastic waste,the predominance of light-colored microplastics in landfill leachate indicates long-term *** identified morphologies of microplastics in leachate from all published sources contain fiber and fragments the *** on the treatment method,leachate treatment processes can achieve microplastic removal rates between 3%and 100%.The review also provides unique perspectives on microplastics in landfill leachate in terms of remediation,final disposal,fate and transport among engineering systems,and source reduction,*** landfill-wastewater treatment plant loop and bioreactor landfills present unique difficulties and opportunities for managing microplastics induced by landfill leachate.
