A flexible full-color micro-LED display with high mechanical robustness was fabricated by printing quantum dots(QDs)on a blue micro-LED array using standard *** red and green colors yielded from QDs exhibit a better color gamut than conventional color *** light conversion efficiency was enhanced by adding TiO2 nanoparticles to the QD-photoresist *** full-color micro-LED display was successfully mounted on various unusual substrates such as curved glass,fabrics,and human skin,enabling diverse optoelectronic *** addition,wireless multi-channel visible light communication(VLC)based on the wavelength-division-multiplexing orthogonal-frequency-division-multiplexing(WDM-OFDM)technique was demonstrated using a QD-based color micro-LED panel.A high data transmission rate of 1.9 Gbps was successfully obtained owing to the high electrical-optical modulation bandwidth of the QD-based micro-LED panel.

Graphene with an exceptional combination of electronic, optical and outstanding mechanical features has been proved to lead a completely different kind of 2-D electronics. The most exciting feature of graphene is its ultra-thin thickness, that can be conformally contacted to any kind of rough surface without losing much of its transparency and conductivity. Graphene has been explored demonstrating various prototype flexible electronic applications, however, its potentiality has been proven wherever transparent conductive electrodes（TCEs） are needed in a flexible, stretchable format. Graphene-based TCEs in flexible electronic applications showed greatly superior performance over their conventionally available competitor indium tin oxide（ITO）. Moreover, enormous applications have been emerging, especially in wearable devices that can be potentially used in our daily life as well as in biomedical areas. However, the production of high-quality, defect-free large area graphene is still a challenge and the main hurdle in the commercialization of flexible and wearable products. The objective of the present review paper is to summarize the progress made so far in graphene-based flexible and wearable applications. The current developments including challenges and future perspectives arc also highlighted.

Coatings on Mg alloys were prepared using NaOH + Na2SiO3 as basic electrolyte containing electrolyte of Na2SiF6 or NaF. EPP treatment was carried out on AZ31 Mg alloys matrix under a hybrid voltage of AC of 200 V combined with DC of 260 V for 30 min. Structural and morphological analyses of ceramic coatings were analyzed by XRD and SEM. Wear and hardness of coatings were measured by pin-on disk test and Vickers hardness test. The coatings formed in Na2SiF6 and NaF electrolytes were mainly composed of MgO and Mg2SiO4. The measured micro-hardness of coating formed in Na2SiF6 electrolyte was found to be over HV 1100, while, coating formed in NaF electrolyte possessed micro-hardness of HV ~900. These results show that the mechanical properties of AZ31 B Mg alloys can be enhanced by the proper selection of electrolyte agent.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between insulin resistance, obesity and serum prostate-specific antigen （PSA） levels in healthy men with serum PSA level below 4 ng mL-1. The men included in the study cohort were 11 827 healthy male employees of the Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power Co., LTD who had undergone medical checkups including fasting glucose, fasting insulin and serum PSA between January 2003 and December 2008. Insulin resistance was calculated by homeostasis model assessment （HOMA [fasting glucose × fasting insulin]/22.5） and quantitative insulin sensitivity check index （QUICK/; 1/[log （fasting insulin）＋ log （fasting glucose）]）. Age-adjusted body mass index （BMI） was significantly increased according to increasing quartile of insulin resistance as determined by HOMA and QUICKI, respectively, in analysis of variance （ANOVA） test and Duncan＇s multiple comparison test （P 〈 0.001）, but age-adjusted serum PSA concentration was significantly decreased according to increasing quartile of insulin resistance as determined by HOMA and QUICK/（P 〈 0.001）. Age, BMI, insulin resistance by HOMA or QUICK/were significantly independent variables to serum PSA level in a multivariate linear regression analysis （P 〈 0.001）. Insulin resistance was a significant independent variable to serum PSA level along with BMI. Insulin resistance and BMI were negatively correlated with serum PSA level in healthy men. Insulin resistance was positively correlated with BMI.

An important goal for realization of flexible and stretchable electronics is to use print-processable materials that can be directly printed and realize high performance in devices on a flexible and stretchable ***,the thinnest elastic material,has superb electronic and thermal properties that make it a promising host for device *** particular,graphene has an extremely good mechanical property,offering a great opportunity to flexible and stretchable electronics that should maintain a stable operation under a high *** we demonstrate the high-performance and low voltage operating field effect transistor（FET） on the soft substrates such as plastic or rubber using high quality,large area graphene films grown by CVD *** graphene based FET on the soft substrate indicates that high mobility under low operating voltage less than ***,the printed graphene FET on the plastic substrate exhibited remarkably stable performance under strain configuration an important feature flexible and stretchable electronic system.

Ambient temperature affects flowering time in plants,and the MADS-box transcription factor SHORT VEGETATIVE PHASE(SVP)plays a crucial role in the response to changes in ambient *** protein stability is regulated by the 26S proteasome pathway and decreases at high ambient temperature,but the details of SVP degradation are ***,we show that SVP degradation at high ambient temperature is mediated by the CULLIN3–RING E3 ubiquitin ligase(CRL3)complex in Arabidopsis *** identified a previously uncharacterized protein that interacts with SVP at high ambient temperature and contains a BTB/POZ *** named this protein LATE FLOWERING AT HIGH TEMPERATURE 1(LFH1).Single mutants of LFH1 or CULLIN3A(CUL3A)showed late flowering specifically at 27***1 protein levels increased at high ambient *** found that LFH1 interacts with CUL3A in the cytoplasm and is important for SVP–CUL3A complex *** in CUL3A and/or LFH1 led to increased SVP protein stability at high ambient temperature,suggesting that the CUL3–LFH1 complex functions in SVP *** E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes(UBCs)using RING-BOX PROTEIN 1(RBX1),a component of the CRL3 complex,as bait identified ***15 mutants also showed late flowering at high ambient *** vitro and in vivo ubiquitination assays using recombinant CUL3A,LFH1,RBX1,and UBC15 showed that SVP is highly ubiquitinated in an ATP-dependent ***,these results indicate that the degradation of SVP at high ambient temperature is mediated by a CRL3 complex comprising CUL3A,LFH1,and UBC15.

Here,we investigate the ultrafast carrier dynamics and electronic states of exfoliated ReS2 films using time-resolved second harmonic generation(TSHG)microscopy and density functional theory(DFT)*** second harmonic generation(SHG)of layers with various thicknesses is probed using a 1.19-eV *** to~13 nm,a gradual increment is observed,followed by a decrease caused by bulk interferometric light *** addition of a pump pulse tuned to the exciton band gap(1.57 eV)creates a decay-to-rise TSHG profile as a function of the probe *** power and thickness dependencies indicate that the electron–hole recombination is mediated by defects and *** two photon absorptions of 2.38 eV in the excited state that are induced by pumping from 1.57 to 1.72 eV are restricted because these transitions highly correlate with the forbidden d–d intrasubshell orbital ***,the combined usage of a frequency-doubled pump(2.38 eV)with wavelength-variant SHG probes(2.60–2.82 eV)allows us to vividly monitor the variations in TSHG profiles from decay-to-rise to rise-to-decay,which imply the existence of an additional electron absorption state(s-orbital)at an approximate distance of 5.05 eV from the highest occupied molecular orbital *** observation was critically examined by considering the allowance of each electronic transition and a small upper band gap(~0.5 eV)using modified DFT calculations.
