Sustainability-oriented prioritization of nuclear fuel cycle transitions in China: a holistic MCDM framework under uncertainties

A sustainability-oriented assessment of the nuclear energy system can provide informative and convincing decision-making support for nuclear development strategies in China. In our previous study, four authentic nuclear fuel cycle (NFC) transition scenarios were proposed, featuring different development stages and exhibiting distinct environmental, economic, and technical characteristics. However, because of the multiple and often conflicting criteria embedded therein, determining the top-priority NFC alternative for a sustainability orientation remains challenging. To address this issue, this study proposed a novel hybrid multi-criteria decision-making framework comprising fuzzy AHP, PROMETHEE GAIA, and MOORA. Initially, an improved fuzzy AHP weighting model was developed to determine criteria weights under uncertainty and investigate the influence of various weight aggregation and defuzzification approaches. Subsequently, PROMETHEE GAIA was used to address conflicts among the criteria and prioritize alternatives on a visualized k-dimensional GAIA plane. As a result, the alternative for direct recycling PWR spent fuel in fast reactors is considered the most sustainable. Furthermore, a sensitivity analysis was conducted to examine the influence of criteria weight variation and validate the screening results. Finally, using MOORA, some significant optimization ideas and valuable insights were provided to support decision-makers in shaping nuclear development strategies.

In this article,we mainly study the products of commutator ideals of Lie-admissible algebras such as Novikov algebras,bicommutative algebras,and assosymmetric *** precisely,we first study the properties of the lower central chains for Novikov algebras and bicommutative *** we show that for every Lie nilpotent Novikov algebra or Lie nilpotent bicommutative algebra A,the ideal of A generated by the set{ab−ba|a,b∈A}is ***,we study properties of the lower central chains for assosymmetric algebras,study the products of commutator ideals of assosymmetric algebras and show that the products of commutator ideals have a similar property as that for associative algebras.

Reconstruction of cervical necrotizing fasciitis defect with the modified keystone flap technique:Two case reports

BACKGROUND Cervical necrotizing fasciitis(CNF)is a rare,aggressive form of deep neck space infection with significant morbidity and mortality *** surgical debridement acts as the cornerstone of CNF treatment;however,it often results in defects requiring complex *** SUMMARY We report two cases in which the keystone flap(KF)was used for CNF defect coverage:Case 1,an 85-year-old patient with CNF in the anterior neck,and Case 2,a 54-year-old patient with CNF in the posterior *** patients received empirical intravenous antibiotic therapy and underwent serial debridement,enabling adequate wound preparation and *** final defect size measured 5.5 cm×12 cm in Case 1 and 6 cm×11 cm in Case *** defect coverage,we employed an 8 cm×19 cm type II KF based on perforators from the superior thyroid artery in Case 1 and a 9 cm×18 cm type II KF based on perforators from the transverse cervical artery in Case *** flaps showed complete *** postoperative complications occurred in both cases,and favorable outcomes were observed at 7-and 6-month follow-ups in case 1 and 2,*** We effectively treated CNF-associated defects using the KF technique;KF is viable for covering CNF defects in carefully selected cases.

Sleep Posture Classification Using RGB and Thermal Cameras Based on Deep Learning Model

Sleep posture surveillance is crucial for patient comfort,yet current systems face difficulties in providing compre-hensive studies due to the obstruction caused by *** posture assessment remains challenging because of the complex nature of the human body and variations in sleep ***,this study introduces an innovative method utilizing RGB and thermal cameras for comprehensive posture classification,thereby enhancing the analysis of body position and *** method begins by capturing a dataset of sleep postures in the form of videos using RGB and thermal cameras,which depict six commonly adopted postures:supine,left log,right log,prone head,prone left,and prone *** study involves 10 participants under two conditions:with and without ***,the database is normalized into a video *** subsequent step entails training a fine-tuned,pretrained Visual Geometry Group(VGG16)and ResNet50 *** the third phase,the extracted features are utilized for *** fourth step of the proposed approach employs a serial fusion technique based on the normal distribution to merge the vectors derived from both the RGB and thermal ***,the fused vectors are passed to machine learning classifiers for final *** dataset,which includes human sleep postures used in this study’s experiments,achieved a 96.7%accuracy rate using the Quadratic Support Vector Machine(QSVM)without the ***,the Linear SVM,when utilized with a blanket,attained an accuracy of 96%.When normal distribution serial fusion was applied to the blanket features,it resulted in a remarkable average accuracy of 99%.
