＜正＞EMBRYONIC FL0WER1（EMF1） together with EMF2 has very important role in the maintenance of vegetative development by repressing directly the flower organ identity genes in Arabidopsis. To investigate EMF1-mediated vegetative development, we have analyzed molecular function of EMF1-Interacting protein （EMF1IP） 1, 6, and 9 that had been isolated from yeast two-hybrid screen using EMF1 as bait, and are predicted to encode a MAP kinase （EMF1IP1）, zinc-finger protein （EMF1IP6） and a DnaJ-domain protein （EMF1IP9）, respectively. Using yeast two-hybrid system, it was revealed that middle region of EMF1 shows strong interaction only with the EMF1IP1, whereas C-terminal region of EMF1 shows the interaction with the EMF1IP6 and 9. We also found that C-terminal region of EMF1IP1 and N-terminal region of EMF1IP6 are involved in the interaction with EMF1, and entire EMF1IP9 is necessary for interaction with EMFl. Interestingly, the N-terminal region of EMF1IP6 includes B-box zinc-finger domain, indicating that the B-box zinc-finger might play an important role in the protein-protein interaction. As results of subcellular localization assay of EMF1IPs, it was suggested that EMF1IP1 is localized in nucleus, EMF1IP6 in both cytoplasm and nucleus, and EMF1IP9 in cytoplasm. In addition, experiments using EMF1IPs::GUS and semi-quantitative RT-PCR analysis revealed that EMF1 was expressed during most of vegetative developmental stages after germination, but not in floral clusters including inflorescence meristem. Especially EMF1 was strongly expressed during early growth stage of vegetative development. EMF1IPs were detected in all of developmental stages investigated except at 4 days after germination （DAG）, but differential expressions were observed during the developmental stages after 4 DAG These expression patterns suggest that the interaction between EMF1 and EMF1IPs might strongly occur during early growth stage. Steel Surface Defect Recognition in Smart Manufacturing Using Deep Ensemble Transfer Learning-Based Techniques

Smart manufacturing and Industry 4.0 are transforming traditional manufacturing processes by utilizing innovative technologies such as the artificial intelligence(AI)and internet of things(IoT)to enhance efficiency,reduce costs,and ensure product *** light of the recent advancement of Industry 4.0,identifying defects has become important for ensuring the quality of products during the manufacturing *** this research,we present an ensemble methodology for accurately classifying hot rolled steel surface defects by combining the strengths of four pre-trained convolutional neural network(CNN)architectures:VGG16,VGG19,Xception,and Mobile-Net V2,compensating for their individual *** evaluated our methodology on the Xsteel surface defect dataset(XSDD),which comprises seven different *** ensemble methodology integrated the predictions of individual models through two methods:model averaging and weighted *** evaluation showed that the model averaging ensemble achieved an accuracy of 98.89%,a recall of 98.92%,a precision of 99.05%,and an F1-score of 98.97%,while the weighted averaging ensemble reached an accuracy of 99.72%,a recall of 99.74%,a precision of 99.67%,and an F1-score of 99.70%.The proposed weighted averaging ensemble model outperformed the model averaging method and the individual models in detecting defects in terms of accuracy,recall,precision,and *** analysis with recent studies also showed the superior performance of our methodology.

Orostachys japonicus ethyl acetate fraction suppresses MRSA biofilm formation

A Region Reference to Chen Yingzhen＇s Literature： A Perspective from Korea

This essay considers Taiwan Residents thinker Chen Yingzhen as a contemporary medium of history so as to investigate his decades-long literary praxis. In particular, it analyzes the ways in which Chen Yingzhen powerfully epitomizes the ＂（ira）possibility of love＂ through the problematic of historical integration： a problematic speaking to tradition, colonialism, and the Cold War/neocolonialism all at once. In virtue of his literary and intellectual accomplishment, this essay attends to the three key notions of ＂division,＂＂civil war,＂ and ＂people＂ as cross-referencing domains. At the same time, via a cross-referencing framework, this essay offers a perspective from Korea, demonstrating the historical specificities of South Korea by situating South Korea in the context of the region of East Asia.

Lithium–sulfur batteries(LSBs)are regarded as promising candidates for the next-generation energy storage devices owing to their high-theoretical capacity(1675 mAh g^(−1))and affordable ***,several limitations of LSBs such as the lithium polysulfide shuttle,large volume expansion,and low electrical conductivity of sulfur need to be resolved for practical *** address these limitations,herein,a multidimensional architectured hybrid(Co@CNT/nG),where Co_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles are encapsulated into threedimensional(3D)porous N-doped reduced graphene oxide interconnected with carbon nanotube(CNT)branches,is synthesized through a simple pyrolysis *** synergistic effect achieved through the homogeneously distributed and encapsulated Co_(3)O_(4) nanoparticles,the interconnected CNT branches,and the 3D hierarchical porous structure and N-doping of Co@CNT/nG significantly suppresses the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides and enhances the conversion redox kinetics for the improved sulfur *** validate this effect through various measurements including symmetric cells,Li_(2)S nucleation,shuttle currents,Tafel slopes,diffusion coefficients,and post-mortem ***,Co@CNT/nG-70S-based LSB cells achieve a high-specific capacity of 1193.1 mAh g^(−1) at 0.1 C and a low capacity decay rate of 0.030%per cycle for 700 cycles at 5 C,delivering a high areal capacity of 5.62 mAh cm^(−2) even with a loading of 6.5 mg cm^(−2).

Lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries are receiving increasing attention as one of the potential next-generation batteries,owing to their high energy densities and low ***,practical Li-S batteries with high energy densities are extremely hindered by the sulfur loss,low Coulombic efficiency,and short cycling life originating from the polysulfide(LiPS)*** this study,two-dimensional(2D)ZnCo_(2)O_(4) microsheets fabricated by a facile hydrothermal process are employed to modify the separator,for improving the electrochemical performances of Li-S *** resulting 2D Zn Co_(2)O_(4)-coated separator features a coating thickness of approximately 10 lm,high ionic conductivity of 1.8 m S/cm,and low mass loading of 0.2 mg/cm^(2).This 2D ZnCo_(2)O_(4)-coated separator effectively inhibits Li PS shuttle by a strong chemical interaction with Li PS as well as promotes the redox kinetics by Zn CO2O4-coated layers,as determined by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy analysis,self-discharge,time-dependent permeation test,Li symmetric cell test,and Li2S nucleation ***,the Li-S batteries based on the 2D Zn Co_(2)O_(4)-coated separator exhibit a high initial discharge capacity of 1292.2 m Ah/g at 0.1 ***,they exhibit excellent long cycle stability at 1 and 2 C with capacity retention of 84%and 86%even after800 cycles,corresponding to a capacity fading rate of 0.020%and 0.016%per cycle,***,these Li-S cells with a high sulfur loading at 5.3 mg/cm^(2) and low electrolyte concentration of 9 l L/mg deliver a high discharge capacity of 4.99 m Ah/cm^(2) after 200 cycles at 0.1 C.

High Order Conservative Semi-Lagrangian Scheme for the BGK Model of the Boltzmann Equation

In this paper,we present a conservative semi-Lagrangian finite-difference scheme for the BGK *** semi-Lagrangian finite difference schemes,coupled with an L-stable treatment of the collision term,allow large time steps,for all the range of Knudsen number[17,27,30].Unfortunately,however,such schemes are not *** of conservation is analyzed in detail,and two main sources are identified as its ***,when using classical continuous Maxwellian,conservation error is negligible only if velocity space is resolved with sufficiently large number of grid ***,for a small number of grid points in velocity space such error is not negligible,because the parameters of the Maxwellian do not coincide with the discrete ***,the non-linear reconstruction used to prevent oscillations destroys the translation invariance which is at the basis of the conservation properties of the *** a consequence the schemes show a wrong shock speed in the limit of small Knudsen *** treat the first problem and ensure machine precision conservation of mass,momentum and energy with a relatively small number of velocity grid points,we replace the continuous Maxwellian with the discrete Maxwellian introduced in[22].The second problem is treated by implementing a conservative correction procedure based on the flux difference form as in[26].In this way we can construct conservative semi-Lagrangian schemes which are Asymptotic Preserving(AP)for the underlying Euler limit,as the Knudsen number *** effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by extensive numerical tests.

Risks of non-conservative design according to ASME B31.1 for high-temperature piping subjected to long-term operation in the creep range

This study investigates the risks of non-conservative piping design according to ASME B31.1 for hightemperature piping subjected to long-term operation at high temperature in a creep regime based on a sensitivity analysis of the hold time. Design evaluations of hightemperature piping were conducted over a range of hold times in the creep regime according to ASME B31.1,which implicitly considers the creep effects, and the French high-temperature design code of the RCC-MRx, which explicitly considers the creep effects. Conservatisms were quantified among the codes in terms of the hold times. In the case of B31.1, the design evaluation results do not change depending on the hold time at high temperature,whereas in the case of RCC-MRx, they do. It was shown that the design limits of RCC-MRx were exceeded when the hold time exceeded certain values, whereas those of B31.1 were satisfied regardless of the hold times. Thus, the design evaluations according to B31.1 did not consistently yield conservative results and might lead to non-conservative results in the case of long-term operations in the creep range.
