Clinical outcomes of patients with chronic hepatitis C after generic direct-acting antiviral treatments in Vietnam: A retrospective analysis

Objective:To evaluate the outcomes of generic direct-acting antiviral treatments for chronic hepatitis C in ***:The medical records of 522 patients(median 45 years;Female,25.3%)with chronic hepatitis C treated at a tertiary hospital in northern Vietnam in 2016 were retrospectively ***:Female patients were significantly older than male patients(median 52,IQR 41-59 vs.43 years,IQR:39-55;Png 522 patients,49.4%were infected with hepatitis C virus(HCV)genotype 6,followed by 1 a(19.0%),1 b(13.0%),and 3(5.9%).Coinfection with hepatitis B virus or human immunodeficiency virus was noted in 5.8%and 3.1%of patients,*** were treated with ledipasvir/sofosbuvir with or without ribavirin(70.9%),sofosbuvir/pegylated-interferon+ribavirin(13.2%),daclatasvir/sofosbuvir with or without ribavirin(12.5%),or sofosbuvir/ribavirin(3.4%),and 96.4%(n=503)completed the direct-acting antiviral *** patient discontinued treatment due to adverse event(s).A sustained virologic response 12 weeks after the end of the treatment(SVR12)was evaluated in 62.6%of *** sustained virologic response 12 weeks after the end of the treatment was 98.7%regardless of HCV genotypes or direct-acting antiviral *** severity of liver stiffness was significantly decreased from 10.2 to 6.3 kilopascals measured by transient elastography by the treatment(Png patients who completed the directacting antiviral treatment,17.7%returned for further follow-ups after ***:In Vietnam,the current generic direct-acting antiviral treatment for chronic hepatitis C was effective regardless of HCV genotypes and direct-acting antiviral regimens with the attenuation of liver *** is feasible to implement direct-acting antiviral treatment to cure chronic hepatitis C patients at any liver fibrosis stages in Vietnam.

Objective:To investigate the contribution of n-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide(nT-pro BnP)and troponin Ⅰ to mortality in children with dengue shock ***:A longitudinal study was conducted on children with dengue shock syndrome in a hospital in southern *** clinical histories,physical examinations,and laboratory parameters,including nT-pro BnP and troponin Ⅰ,were recorded.A comparison between survival and non-survival was carried out to identify factors influencing ***:A total of 107 patients with a median age of 9 years were included in the *** them,63.6%(68/107)presented with compensated shock,36.4%(39/107)had hypotensive shock,23.4%(25/107)required mechanical ventilation,and 12.1%(13/107)*** nT-pro BnP levels were 3.9 pmol/L(IQR:1.9,10.3)and 15.2 pmol/L(5.8,46.3),while the median high sensitivity troponin Ⅰ levels were 20 pg/L(6,95)and 62 pg/L(12,325)at the first and second measurements,*** mortality group exhibited higher rates of hypotensive shock,prolonged shock,lactate levels,liver damage,nT-pro BnP,and troponin Ⅰ *** shock(OR 12.96,95%CI 2.70-62.30,P=0.004),prolonged shock(OR 39.40,95%CI 6.68-232.70,P1000 IU/L(OR 9.50,95%CI 2.63-34.34,P=0.041),and nT-pro BnP>7 pmol/L(OR 44.40,95%CI 5.44-362.20,P=0.001)were identified as predictive factors for mortality in dengue shock ***:The nT-pro BnP level could serve as a potential biomarker for predicting mortality in children with dengue shock syndrome.

new analyses of earlier ALMA observations of oxygen-rich AGB star EP Aquarii are presented,which complete a previously published analysis and offer a different interpretation of the morpho-kinematics of the circumstellar *** birth of the equatorial density enhancement(EDE)is shown to occur very close to the star where evidence for rotation has been *** to the star and where outflows have been observed:their interaction with the gas of the nascent EDE is seen to play an important role in the development of the wind and the evolution of its radial velocity from 8 to 10 km s^(-1) on the polar symmetry axis to~2 km s^(-1) at the *** implies complex morpho-kinematics:making reliable interpretations with reasonable confidence is *** particular,it questions an earlier interpretation implying the presence of a white dwarf companion orbiting the star at an angular distance of -0″4 from its *** proposes instead an interpretation in terms of a standard mass ejection associated with a shock wave leaving a void of emission in its *** Doppler velocity wings are seen to consist of two components,the upper velocity end of the global wind,reaching above±12 km s^(-1),and an effective line broadening,confined within 200 mas from the center of the star,reaching above±20 km s^(-1) and interpreted as caused by the pattern of shock waves resulting from the interaction between stellar pulsation and convective cell partition.

越南学生“常常”“往往”习得偏误及教学对策研究

“常常”“往往”是汉语中典型的频率副词,在语义、句法和语用特征方面较为复杂且不易区分。笔者作为越南留学生,在学习汉语过程中发现,越南学生受母语的影响在理解和应用“常常”“往往”时遇到了显著的障碍。为了探究越南学生在习得“常常”“往往”时出现的偏误情况,并据此提出适用于越南学生的教学与学习策略,文章从本体角度对“常常”“往往”进行了对比分析,从语义、句法及语用三个角度综合比较了“常常”与“往往”的共性与差异。研究显示,尽管这两个词在词性和功能方面有很大相似性,但在语义和使用上各有特点。在此基础上,文章将汉语的“常常”“往往”与越南语中相应的词语进行了对照分析,发现越南语中有“th(?)(?)ng”“th(?)(?)ng th(?)(?)ng”“th(?)(?)ng xuyên”“th(?)(?)ng hay”“lu(?)n lu(?)n”几个词语与汉语的“常常”“往往”在语义上非常相似,但在句法特征和语用情景方面,越南语中的相应表达表现出较强的灵活性和自由度。为更确切地了解越南学生习得“常常”“往往”的情况,本文以问卷调查的形式考察了越南学生在习得“常常”“往往”时的感受和可能存在的偏误。通过对问卷情况的分析,总结出越南学习者的偏误可分为语义偏误、句法偏误和语用偏误三种类型。文章从语义及句法复杂性、学习者母语及教学媒介语因素、教材因素等三个角度进行了原因分析,研究结果表明,母语影响是导致越南学生在汉语学习中出现偏误的重要因素之一,同时也指出了教材在处理这些频率副词时存在的不足。基于以上研究,本文有针对性地提出了面向越南学生习得“常常”“往往”的教学对策。在教材编写方面,建议提高翻译的精确度、注释的准确性,并增强练习的针对性。对于教师,本文倡导采用情境教学法、对比教学法以及强化实践练习。此外,给越南学生的语言习得提出了若干建议,包括通过汉语思维减少母语负迁移、善于对比以及敢于交际的学习策略。

Fermented calcium butyrate supplementation in post-peak laying hens improved ovarian function and tibia quality through the“gut-bone” axis

The compromised egg quality and leg abnormality during the end of the laying cycle(after 40 weeks)have been leading to poor animal welfare and substantial economic losses. Therefore, the effects of fermented calcium(Ca) butyrate, produced by fermentation by Clostridium butyricum, on production,eggshell quality, and tibial property of hens were explored. A total of 192 Hy-line brown laying hens at50-week-old were assigned to a basal diet or the basal diet with 300 mg/kg of the fermented Ca butyrate from 50 to 58 weeks of age. Each treatment had 6 replicates with 16 hens each. The diet supplemented with 300 mg/kg fermented Ca butyrate notably increased egg weight, ovarian follicle number, and eggshell strength(P = 0.072) as compared to the basal diet, which were associated with cytokine secretion, toll-like receptor signaling pathways, and intestinal immunity based on the RnA-seq data from the granulosa. Dietary Ca butyrate inclusion decreased the expression of ileal tumor necrosis factor-alpha and serum pro-inflammatory cytokine concentration, as well as increased the content of serum immunoglobulin A when compared to the basal diet(both P nted Ca butyrate diets exhibited higher villus height(P nd upregulated expression of tight junction proteins, whereas it did not alter the composition of cecal microbiota(P > 0.05). In addition, the diet with fermented Ca butyrate reduced the number of osteoclasts in the proximal tibia and the level of C-terminal cross-linked telopeptide of type I collagen, a bone resorption marker(P nded to increase the concentration of the procollagen type I n-terminal propeptide that reflects bone formation marker in serum. Moreover, the layers fed fermented Ca butyrate diets possessed higher(P ne area and trabecular number of the proximal tibia, yield load, and ultimate load than those that consumed basal diets.
