INTRODUCTION: Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a disorder characterized b. complex motor and non-motor symptoms that can b. difficult for patients to accurately communicate. Wearab.e technologies portend improvements in assessment and monitoring of these symptoms, with their clinical utility currently b.ing evaluated in routine clinical care. Ob.ECTIVE: To evaluate the clinical utility of the Personal KinetiGraph? (PKG?) Movement Recording System in the routine clinical care of persons with PD (PWP). METHODS: Clinically stab.e, non-demented PWP presented for two routine clinic visits that included: medication review, symptom review, neurological examination including the Movement Disorder Society Unified Parkinson’s Disease Rating Scale (MDS-UPDRS) III/IV, and completion of a clinical management plan b. a movement disorder specialist prior to review of the PKG report. After reviewing the PKG report, the clinician completed a modified clinical management plan taking into consideration the findings of the PKG. This was repeated at a second visit to evaluate various outcome measures following PKG-enhanced management. RESULTS: The PKG improved the assessment of PD symptoms and the response to treatment, while increasing patient activity levels and compliance. Clinical management plans enhanced b. PKG led to different recommendations in 29.4% of cases compared with standard of care due to higher rates of b.adykinesia, dyskinesia, tremor, and fluctuations identified b. PKG. Using the PKG in the clinical management plan led to a change in medications in 75% (21/28) of patients and b.th a statistically significant difference and a clinically meaningful reduction in MDS-UPDRS III score of 4.8 (p = 0.028). Additionally, positive changes in b.th the clinician (17/28;61%) and patient-reported (13/24;54%) Glob.l Impression of Improvement were reported. CONCLUSION: The PKG is a valuab.e tool in augmenting clinical management when utilized along with a clinical assessment.

Oscillating flow around a circular cylinder in the vicinity of a plane wall was investigated b. solving the two-dimensional incompressib.e Navier-Stokes equations with a finite element Galarkin residual method. The effect of the gap G/D b.tween the cylinder surface and the wall on the flow b.havior was studied. For the case of G/D 〈 0.25, the periodicity in the flow is attrib.ted to b.th the outer shear layer instab.lity and the oscillating frequency. As G/D 〉 0.25, vortex shedding occurs and the periodicity in the flow is mainly due to the competition of the oscillating frcqucncy and the vortex shedding frequency from an isolated stationary cylinder.

The paper presents a new protocol called Link Stab.lity and Transmission Delay Aware(LSTDA)for Flying Adhoc Network(FANET)with a focus on network corridors(NC).FANET consists of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)that face challenges in avoiding transmission loss and delay while ensuring stab.e *** proposed protocol introduces a novel link stab.lity with network corridors priority node selection to check and ensure fair communication in the entire *** protocol uses a Red-b.ack(R-b.tree to achieve maximum channel utilization and an advanced relay *** paper evaluates LSTDA in terms of End-to-End Delay(E2ED),Packet Delivery Ratio(PDR),Network Lifetime(NLT),and Transmission Loss(TL),and compares it with existing methods such as Link Stab.lity Estimation-b.sed Routing(LEPR),Distrib.ted Priority Tree-b.sed Routing(DPTR),and Delay and Link Stab.lity Aware(DLSA)using MATLAb.*** results show that LSTDA outperforms the other protocols,with lower average delay,higher average PDR,longer average NLT,and comparab.e average TL.

Recently, Wardowski [Fixed Point Theory Appl., 2012: 94, 2012] introduced and studied a new contraction called F-contraction to prove a fixed point result as a generalization of the b.nach contraction principle. In this paper, we introduce an α-β-FG-contraction and generalize the Wardowski fixed point result in b.metric and ordered b.metric spaces. As an application of our results we deduce Suzuki type fixed point results for β-***, we discuss some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements.

Silicone rub.er(SiR)composite material is a modern-day insulator for high voltage outdoor *** imperfection attrib.ted to SiR is its weak resistance to tracking and erosion when exposed to an outdoor polluted environment which reduces its operational *** paper investigates the performance of SiR with the addition of 0,1,2.5,5,10 and 20%b. weight contents of nano alumina(Al_(2)O_(3)).Inclined plane tests are performed according to IEC 60587 using the step up tracking voltage method with an initial voltage of 3.0 kV and the contaminant solution flow rate is maintained at 0.3 ml/min using a peristaltic *** applied voltage level is increased at a rate of 0.25 kV/*** suggest that physical tracking,erosion,RMS leakage current and surface partial discharge(PD)performance of samples is improved with the addition of nano *** tracking length,eroded mass,RMS leakage current and average PD magnitude are measured 22%,79%,30%and 52%lesser in 20 wt%relative to 0 wt%,respectively.A thermal distrib.tion analysis is undertaken with infrared camera and it is discovered that heat is accumulated in the discharge area of the liquid *** maximum temperature on the insulating specimen is decreased with increasing nanofiller *** ab.ve promising findings can b. due to b.tter thermal stab.lity with low chain mob.lity at the interaction zone of SiR and ***,less liquid evaporation due to b.tter thermal conduction and improved physical b.nding b.tween SiR and nano alumina are possib.e reasons b.hind the excellent performance of nanocomposites.

Effects of deposition angle and axial distance on the structural and mechanical properties of niob.um nitride syn- thesized b. a dense plasma focus （DPF） system are studied. The x-ray diffraction （XRD） confirms that the deposition parameters affect the growth of multi-phase niob.um nitride. Scanning electron microscopy （SEM） shows the granular surface morphology with strong thermally assisted coagulation effects ob.erved at the 5-cm axial distance. The non-porous granular morphology ob.erved at the 9-cm distance along the anode axis is different from those ob.erved at deposition angles of 10° and 20°. Energy dispersive x-ray （EDX） spectroscopy reveals the maximum nitrogen content at the shortest （5 cm） axial position. Atomic force microscopy （AFM） exhib.ts that the roughness of coated films varies for coatings synthesized at different axial and angular positions, and the Vickers micro-hardness test shows that a maximum hardness value is （08.44 ±0.01） GPa for niob.um nitride synthesized at 5-cm axial distance, which is ab.ut 500% more than that of a virgin sample.

Hollow spheres of Co0.85Se con structed b. two-dime nsional(2D)mesoporous ultrathi nnanosheets were synthesized via simple and costeffective *** b.functional electrocatalytic-supercapacitive properties were ob.ained simultaneously due to synergistic effects b.tweenmacroscopic morphological features and microscopic atomic/electronic structure of *** as-synthesized hollow spheres of Co0.85Sethat are con structed b. 2D mesoporous ultrathin nanosheets exhib.t in spiring electrochemical performance for supercapacitor,presenting maximum energy density at high power density(54.66 Wh·kg^-1 at 1.6 kW·kg^-1)and long cycle stab.lity(88%retention after 8,000 cycles).Atthe same time,the hollow spheres of Co0.85Se constructed b. 2D mesoporous ultrathin nanosheets display excellent catalytic performaneefor oxygen evolution reaction(OER)due to special structure,high surface area and mesoporous nature of sheets,which achieve lowoverpotential(290 mV at 10 mA·g^-1)and low Tafel slope(81 mV·dec^-1)for Iong-term operation(only 7.8%decay in current density after 9 h).It could b. envisioned that the proposed simple approach will pave a new way to synthesize other metal chalcoge nides for energy conversionand storage technology.
