When "cut off" continuous and uniform basal plane of two-dimensional(2D)materials,edges appear at *** edges with unique one-dimensional(1D)structures and bound-states significantly alter materials’local chemical activities and have been extensively investigated as model platforms for investigating structure–property–performance relationships for *** interesting phenomena have been discovered in the past decades,highlighting the importance of interactions between active species and edge atoms at the atomic level and making 1D edges as emerging catalysts with high efficiency,promising candidates for battery and electrochemical ***,this review focuses on the recent progress of edge synthesis and structural engineering methods,understanding of edge structure–activity mechanisms,and potential applications using edge *** and prospects are also envisioned.

Herein,a high strain of ~0.3% with a small hysteresis of 43% is achieved at a low electric field of 4 kV/mm in the highly -textured 0.97(0.76Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)-0.24SrTiO_(3))-0.03NaNbO_(3)(BNT-ST-0.03NN)ceramics with an ergodic relaxor(ER)state,leading to a large normalized strain(d_(33)^(*))of 720 pm/*** introduction of NN templates into BNT-ST induces the grain orientation growth and enhances the *** highly -textured BNT-ST-0.03NN ceramics display a pure ergodic relaxor state with coexisted ferroelectric R3c and antiferroelectric P4bm polar nanoregions(PNRs)on ***,due to the incomplete interdiffusion between the NN template and BNT-ST matrix,the textured ceramics present a core-shell structure with the antiferroelectric NN core,and thus the BNT-based matrix owns more R3c PNRs relative to the homogeneous nontextured *** high crystallographic texture and more R3c PNRs both facilitate the relaxor-to-ferroelectric transition,leading to the low-field-driven high strain,while the ergodic relaxor state ensures a small ***,the d_(33)^(*)value remains high up to 518 pm/V at 100℃ with an ultra-low hysteresis of 6%.

A definition of non-column volume ratio (NCVR) is brought forward by the authors. It is influenced greatly by the slendernessratio of the cylindrical billet and the slope of the wedge on the tool of skew rolling. Using the numerical simulation, the lawof variation in NCVR during the forming process is found out. At the same time experiments have been carried out underdifferent conditions, the result of which are found to be in good agreement with the theoretical predictions.

An analysis of genome-wide gene expression profiles during floral organ development can provide important clues about the molecular basis of gene functions and developmental *** this study,we analyzed the transcriptome data of 36 samples obtained during floral organ development from pepper‘6421’and detected 30016 genes that were expressed in at least one sample.K-means clustering analysis was used to classify the data into 16 clusters based on the similarities between the dynamic expression profiles of *** these,15 clusters exhibited notable up-regulation or down-regulation trends in different developmental stages or tissues of floral *** identified transcription factors expressed at the early,medium,and late stages of bud development(F1,F5,F9).Transcription factor families such as AP2-ERF,MADS-box,MYB,bHLH,and NAC showed significant levels of *** comparison with genes expressed in vegetative tissues at different stages,certain genes were specifically up-regulated during flower development;among these,the number of genes specifically up-regulated during the stamen(Sta10)and bud tetrad development(F4)stages was the *** extensive studies of the ABCDE model of flower development in Arabidopsis,we identified 17 ABCDE model candidate genes in pepper,most of which were up-regulated at specific stages of flower bud *** expression data provided in this study is the most comprehensive dataset available for pepper to date and will serve as a resource for identifying the functions of many specific genes involved in flower development in pepper and other Solanaceae plants.

The design of advanced binders plays a critical role in stabilizing the cycling performance of large-volume-effect silicon monoxide(SiO)*** the classic polyacrylic acid(PAA)binder,the self-association of-COOH groups in PAA leads to the formation of intramolecular and intermolecular hydrogen bonds,greatly weakening the bonding force of the binder to SiO ***,strengthening the binder-material interaction from the perspective of binder molecular regulation poses a significant ***,a modified PAA-Li_(x)(0.25≤x≤1)binder with prominent mechanical properties and adhesion strength is specifically synthesized for SiO anodes by quantitatively substituting the carboxylic hydrogen with *** appropriate lithium substitution(x=0.25)not only effectively increases the number of hydrogen bonds between the PAA binder and SiO surface owing to charge repulsion effect between ions,but also guarantees moderate entanglement between PAA-Li_x molecular chains through the ion-dipole *** such,the PAA-Li_(0.25)/SiO electrode exhibits exceptional mechanical properties and the lowest volume change,as well as the optimum cycling(1237.3 mA h g^(-1)after 100cycles at 0.1 C)and rate performance(1000.6 mA h g^(-1)at 1 C),significantly outperforming the electrode using pristine PAA *** work paves the way for quantitative regulation of binders at the molecular level.

The distribution of microelement Fe, Si, Cu and Mg in the surface layer of aluminum foil annealed at 300℃ and 500℃ were determined by secondary ion mass spectrometer. The corrosion structure produced by electrochemical etching was also observed. It was found that the Mg concentration at external surface was increased exponentially over the fourth degree and promoted by higher annealing temperature, which will increase the number of corrosion pits inside the large grains, and therefore the specific capacity of the foils for electrolytic capacitors. The similar effects of microelement Fe, Si and Cu were not so strong.
