Dual atom-bridge effect promoting interfacial charge transfer in 2D/2D Cs3Bi2Br9/BiOBr epitaxial heterojunction for efficient photocatalysis

Optimizing the interfacial quality of halide perovskites heterojunction to promote the photogenerated charge separation is of great significance in photocatalytic ***,the delicately regulation of interfacial structure and properties of halide perovskites hybrid is still a big challenge owing to the growth uncontrollability and incompatibility between different *** we use Bi OBr nanosheets as the start-template to in situ epitaxially grow Cs3Bi2Br9nanosheets by“cosharing”Bi and Br atoms strategy for designing a 2D/2D Cs3Bi2Br9/BiOBr *** studies show that the epitaxial heterojunction can optimize the synergistic effect of Bi OBr and Cs3Bi2Br9via the formation of tight-contact interfaces,strong interfacial electronic coupling and charge redistribution,which can not only drive the Z-scheme charge transfer mechanism to greatly promote the spatial separation of electronhole pairs,but also modulate the interfacial electronic structure to facilitate the adsorption and activation of toluene *** heterojunction exhibited 62.3 and 2.4-fold photoactivity improvement for toluene oxidation to benzaldehyde than parental Bi OBr and Cs3Bi2Br9,*** study not only proposed a novel dual atom-bridge protocol to engineer high-quality perovskite heterojunctions,but also uncovered the potential of heterojunction in promoting electron-hole separation as well as the application in photocatalytic organic synthesis.

The virtual private cloud service currently lacks a real-time end-to-end consistency validation mechanism, which prevents tenants from receiving immediate feedback on their requests. Existing solutions consume excessive communication and computational resources in such large-scale cloud environments, and suffer from poor timeliness. To address these issues, we propose a lightweight consistency validation mechanism that includes real-time incremental validation and periodic full-scale validation. The former leverages message layer aggregation to enable tenants to swiftly determine the success of their requests on hosts with minimal communication overhead. The latter utilizes lightweight validation checksums to compare the expected and actual states of hosts locally, while efficiently managing the checksums of various host entries using inverted indexing. This approach enables us to efficiently validate the complete local configurations within the limited memory of hosts. In summary, our proposed mechanism achieves closed-loop implementation for new requests and ensures their long-term effectiveness.

Lung transplantation (LT)has emerged as a crucial life-saving option for critically ill patients with severe coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)-related acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) or irreversible lung injury.[1]Intensive care unit-acquired weakness (ICU-AW)is a prevalent complication in critically ill patients.[2] The recovery of recipients undergoing LT for COVID-19-related respiratory failure may face impediments due to ICU-AW,which negatively affects early mobilization and functional improvement. This study describes two cases of successful bilateral LT for severe COVID-19-related ARDS with the occurrence of ICU-AW and subsequent successful discharge.

Fungal infections are relatively common among patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and patients may be infected simultaneously or sequentially with multiple fungal species. Physicians need to select appropriate antifungal agents and therapeutic regimens based on the type and severity of the infection. Herein, we report a young SLE patient who developed concurrent pulmonary infection with Pneumocystis jirovecii and Trichosporon coremiiforme. The patient presented with a variety of imaging manifestations,with specific features evolving as the disease progressed.

For a long time, researchers have sought artificial intelligence(AI) that matches or exceeds human *** agents, which are artificial entities capable of sensing the environment, making decisions, and taking actions, are seen as a means to achieve this goal. Extensive efforts have been made to develop AI agents, with a primary focus on refining algorithms or training strategies to enhance specific skills or particular task performance. The field, however, lacks a sufficiently general and powerful model to serve as a foundation for building general agents adaptable to diverse scenarios. With their versatile capabilities, large language models(LLMs) pave a promising path for the development of general AI agents, and substantial progress has been made in the realm of LLM-based agents. In this article, we conduct a comprehensive survey on LLM-based agents, covering their construction frameworks, application scenarios, and the exploration of societies built upon LLM-based agents. We also conclude some potential future directions and open problems in this flourishing field.

Polychlorinated naphthalenes(PCNs)are detrimental to human health and the *** the commercial production of PCNs banned,unintentional releases have emerged as a significant environmental ***,relevant information is still *** this study,provincial emissions for eight PCNs homologues from 37 sources in the Chinese mainland during the period of 1960-2019 were estimated based on a source-specific and time-varying emission factor *** results showed that the total PCNs emissions in 2019 reached 757.0 kg with Hebei ranked at the top among all the provinces and iron&steel industry as the biggest ***-chlorinated PCNs comprised 90%of emissions by mass,while highly chlorinated PCNs dominated in terms of toxicity,highlighting divergent priorities for mitigating emissions and safeguarding human *** emissions showed an overall upward trend from 1960 to 2019 driven by emission increase from iron&steel industry in terms of source,and from North China and East China in terms of geographic ***-capita emissions followed an inverted U-shaped environmental Kuznets curvewhile emission intensities decreased with increasing per-capita Gross Domestic Product(GDP)following a nearly linear pattern when log-transformed.

Herein, we describe a strategy for constructing pyrroles via a copper-catalyzed [4 + 1] annulation of yne-allylic esters and aliphatic amines. The key innovation of this approach is the development of copper-ammonium intermediates that facilitate selective C–N bond cleavage under mild conditions. This method demonstrates broad applicability, accommodating both aliphatic secondary amines and aliphatic primary amines, while exhibiting excellent tolerance toward a wide range of functional groups. Furthermore, the ease of subsequent transformations underscores its potential utility in the synthesis of bioactive compounds. Preliminary mechanistic investigations suggest the involvement of a copper-ammonium species, providing insight into the reaction's underlying process.

Epilepsy is the fourth most common neuropsychiatric disorder. Although the approval of Epidiolex has ignited hope for patients, there is still a large gap in the field of anti-seizure research. The effect and underlying mechanism of full-spectrum hemp extract (HE) remains unclear. Here this study investigated the anti-seizure effect of HE on seizure models. The results showed that HE significantly reduced seizure susceptibility and prolonged seizure latency with better pharmacokinetic performance compared to CBD. This article then further explored the anti-seizure active components and their possible mechanism in HE. The results indicated that cannabichromene (CBC) and cannabinol (CBN) were involved in the anti-seizure process, especially CBC showed a strong allosteric enhancement effects on CBD binding site of the GABAA receptor, which implied that the GABAA receptor seemed to be the primary anti-epileptic target of HE. This article not only presents the great potential of HE as a candidate for new anti-epileptic drugs with less psychoactive, but also provides a valuable contribution to subsequent mechanism research and drug development on ***: Epilepsy is the fourth most coneuropsychiatric disorder. In recent years,the number of patientswith colon disease has increased *** polyps are the precursor lesions of colon *** not diagnosed in time,they can easily develop into colon cancer,posing a serious threat to patients’lives and health.A colonoscopy is an important means of detecting colon ***,in polyp imaging,due to the large differences and diverse types of polyps in size,shape,color,etc.,traditional detection methods face the problem of high false positive rates,which creates problems for doctors during the diagnosis *** order to improve the accuracy and efficiency of colon polyp detection,this question proposes a network model suitable for colon polyp detection(PD-YOLO).This method introduces the self-attention mechanism CBAM(Convolutional Block Attention Module)in the backbone layer based on YOLOv7,allowing themodel to adaptively focus on key information and ignore the unimportant *** help themodel do a better job of polyp localization and bounding box regression,add the SPD-Conv(Symmetric Positive Definite Convolution)module to the neck layer and use deconvolution instead of *** results indicate that the PD-YOLO algorithm demonstrates strong robustness in colon polyp *** to the original YOLOv7,on the Kvasir-SEG dataset,PD-YOLO has shown an increase of 5.44 percentage points in AP@0.5,showcasing significant advantages over other mainstream methods.
