Binder-induced ultrafast ■-intercalation toward a high-voltage,high-power and long-cycling zinc–graphite dual-ion battery

Metallic zinc is an ideal anode material owing to its high theoretical capacity (819 mAh·g-1),ecofriendliness,low cost and high safety,which have driven fast development of Zn-ion batteries （ZIBs）.However,the practical application of current ZIBs is significantly restricted by irregular dendrite growth of zinc anode and the low working voltage （usually<2 V） of cathode ***,we report a high-voltage Zn-based dualion battery （DIB）,which is constructed by a graphite cathode,a Zn anode,and 3 M LiPF6in the ethyl methyl carbonate （EMC） *** the corrosion interaction of Li+ions,Zn2+can be easily dissolved from Zn anode into the electrolyte to enable dendrite-free Zn2+plating/stripping at the ***,an aqueous carboxymethyl cellulose （CMC） binder is employed to generate a robust cathode electrolyte interface （CEI） layer on the graphite cathode,which renders ultrafast PF6--de-/intercalation into *** resultant Zn–graphite DIB operates stably at a high cut off voltage of 3.2 V,corresponding to an average output voltage of 2.2 *** 9000cycles at 5C,the high capacity retention of 95.9% can be achieved with～100%Coulomb *** on the mass of cathode material,our Zn–graphite battery exhibits ultrafast rate capability （60 C,a discharge time of 44 s） and high energy/power densities (208 Wh·kg-1at 214 W·kg-1;142 Wh·kg-1at 8692 W·kg-1),which holds great promise for large-scale energy storage.

A supertree is a connected and acyclic *** investigate the supertrees with the extremal spectral radii among several kinds of r-uniform ***,by using the matching polynomials of supertrees,a new and useful grafting operation is proposed for comparing the spectral radii of supertrees,and its applications are shown to obtain the supertrees with the extremal spectral radi among some kinds of r-uniform ***,the supertree with the third smallest spectral radius among the r-uniform supertrees is ***,among the r-uniform supertrees with a given maximum degree,the supertree with the smallest spectral radius is *** last,among the r-uniform starlike supert rees,the supertrees with the smallest and the largest spectral radii are characterized.

Modeling of bistatic scattering from an underwater non-penetrable target using a Kirchhoff approximation method

A numerical triangulation and transformation into the time domain of a Kirchhoff approximation(KA)method is proposed for the modeling of bistatic scattering from an underwater non-penetrable *** time domain solution in this approximation can be split up into two parts:the solution of reflected field,contributing around the specular direction,and the solution of shadow radiation,contributing around the forward *** average solution in the time domain satisfying the reciprocity principle is *** solution is expressed in terms of non-singular *** proposed method is validated against a normal mode method for bistatic scattering from a rigid ***,the reflected and shadow highlights on the surface of the sphere are shown to verify the integration surface of the reflected field and shadow *** is also tested against a finite element method and an experiment involving a scaled Benchmark Target Strength Simulation Submarine *** time-angle bistatic spectra for the model are evaluated by the direct and transformed average solutions of KA,and the former accelerates its speed of *** results are good,and show that this method can be used to predict the bistatic scattered field of a non-penetrable target.

Low profile cavity-embedded ultra-wideband UHF array antenna with end-fire beams

A low-profile,vertically polarized,ultra-wideband array antenna with end-fire beams operating in an ultra-high frequency(UHF)band is developed in this *** array antenna consists of 1×16 log-periodic top-hat loaded monopole antenna arrays and is feasible to embed into a shallow cavity to further reduce the array *** is introduced in the proposed antenna element to reduce profile height and the rectangular top hats are carefully designed to minimize the transverse *** results show that when the antenna array operates in a frequency range of 300 MHz-900 MHz,the end-fire radiation pattern achieves±45°scanning range in the horizontal *** prototypes of the proposed end-fire antenna element and a uniformly spaced linear array(1×2)are fabricated and *** end-fire antenna array should be suitable for airborne applications where low-profile and conformal scanning phased antenna arrays with end-fire radiations are *** design is attractive for airborne platform applications that are used to search,discover,identify,and scout the aerial target with vertically polarized beams.

Comparison of Measurements for Enhanced Diffusion Problem in Chemical Reaction Systems

Hybrid Na-ion capacitors(NICs)have received considerable interests owing to their low-cost,high-safety,and rapidly charging energy-storage *** NICs are composed of a capacitor-type cathode and a battery-type *** major challenge for NICs is to search for suitable electrode materials to overcome the sluggish diffusion of Na^(+)in the ***,ultrafine vanadium sulfide is encapsulated in carbon fiber(V_(3)S_(4)@CNF)as a self-supported electrode by electrospinning and in situ *** carbon cladding and one-dimensional(ID)nanofiber network-like structure could alleviate the volume expansion of V_(3)S_(4)during Na^(+)de-/intercalation ***,the V_(3)S_(4)@CNF anode exhibited a pseudocapacitive sodium storage in terms of large Na^(+)-storage capacity(476 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1A·g^(-1)),high-rate capability(290 mAh·g^(-1)at 20.0 A·g^(-1))and excellent cycling stability(95%capacity retention for1500 cycles at 2.0 A·g^(-1))in Na *** employing V_(3)S_(4)@CNF as the anode and the activated carbon(AC)cathode,the as-assembled NICs could deliver a high energy density of 110 Wh·kg^(-1)at a power density of200 W·kg^(-1).Even at a high power of 10,000 W·kg^(-1),the specific energy is still up to 42 Wh·kg^(-1).

Oxygen evolution reaction(OER)catalysts are the key core materials that determine the performance of fuel cells,metal-air batteries,electrolytic water decomposition,and other *** this work,a green lignin-based non-precious metal OER catalyst was prepared by a simple ***,c arboxylated lignin was used to complex Ni and Co in situ,and then they were placed with sodium hypophosphite in the same tube furnace for upstream and downstream high-temperature calcination to construct a lignin carbon-based Ni-Co bimetallic OER catalyst(NiCoP@C).The synthesized catalyst is a porous bimetallic phosphide with a three-dimensional network structure and high-density electrochemical active ***@C exhibited favorable catalytic activity for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)with overpotential of 280 mV at 10 mA·cm~(-2)and a Tafel slope of 77 mV·dec~(-1).Additionally,it exhibited remarkable durability during *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that by leveraging the distinctive structure of transition metal phosphide nanoparticles incorporated into a reticulated substrate,the NiCoP@C catalyst offered an increased number of active sites for OER catalysis,significantly enhancing its stability during practical *** present study broadens the utilization pathways of biomass to"turn waste into treasure,"aligning the development concept of green sustainable development.
