AIM:To investigate the association of PNPLA3 polymorphisms with concurrent chronic hepatitis B(CHB) and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).METHODS:A cohort of Han patients with biopsyproven CHB,with or without NAFLD(CHB group,n = 51;CHB + NAFLD group,n = 57),and normal controls(normal group,n = 47) were recruited from Northern(Tianjin),Central(Shanghai),and Southern(Zhangzhou) *** PNPLA3 polymorphisms were genotyped by gene *** association between PNPLA3 polymorphisms and susceptibility to NAFLD,and clinical characteristics of NAFLD were evaluated on the basis of physical indices,liver function tests,glycolipid metabolism,and histopathologic *** association of PNPLA3 polymorphisms and hepatitis B virus(HBV) load was determined by the serum level of HBV ***:After adjusting for age,sex,and body mass index,we found that four linked single nucleotide polymorphisms(SNPs) of PNPLA3,including the rs738409 G allele(CHB + NAFLD group vs CHB group:odds ratio[OR]= 2.77,95%confidence interval[CI]:1.18-6.54;P = 0.02),rs3747206 T allele(CHB+ NAFLD group vs CHB group:OR = 2.77,95%CI:1.18-6.54;P = 0.02),rs4823173 A allele(CHB +NAFLD group vs CHB group:OR = 2.73,95%CI:1.16-6.44;P= 0.02),and rs2072906 G allele(CHB+ NAFLD group vs CHB group:OR = 3.05,95%CI:1.28-7.26;P = 0.01),conferred high risk to NAFLD in CHB *** patients with both CHB and NAFLD,these genotypes of PNPLA3 polymorphisms were associated with increased susceptibility to nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH)(NAFLD activity score ≥3;P =0.01-0.03) and liver fibrosis(>1 Metavir grading;P =0.01-0.04).As compared to those with C/C and C/G at rs738409,C/C and C/T at rs3747206,G/G and G/A at rs4823173,and A/A and A/G at rs2072906,patients in the CHB + NAFLD group with G/G at rs738409,T/T at rs3747206,A/A at rs4823173,and G/G at rs2072906 showed significantly lower serum levels of HBV DNA(P< 0.01-0.05).CONCLUSION:Four linked SNPs of PNPLA3(rs738409,rs3747206,rs4823173,and rs2072906) a

The spectral broadening of motional Stark effect(MSE)is simulated in the HL-2A tokamak,which is in good agreement with the experimental *** divergence angle of the neutral beam,finite lens size and beam energy dissociation are the main broadening factors,while the lens size is the most important *** experimental spectra fitted by multiple Gaussian distributions reveal that the Stark splitting and its full width at half maximum(FWHM)are~0.07 nm and~0.19 nm,***,theπandσcomponents of the MSE will overlap since the Stark splitting is much smaller than its spectral broadening.A narrowband filter with the FWHM of about 0.16 nm is good enough to isolate the two components for providing the polarization fraction over 50%,which guarantees reasonable measurement precision for magnetic field pitch angle.

Finely tuned mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)signaling is important for cancer cell *** that push cells out of the MAPK fitness zone result in cell ***,in a screen of the North China Pharmaceutical Group Corporation’s pure compound library of microbial origin,we identified elaiophylin as an autophagy ***,we demonstrated a new role for elaiophylin in inducing excessive endoplasmic reticulum(ER)stress,ER-derived cytoplasmic vacuolization,and consequent paraptosis by hyperactivating the MAPK pathway in multiple cancer ***-wide CRISPR/Cas9 knockout library screening identified SHP2,an upstream intermediary of the MAPK pathway,as a critical target in elaiophylin-induced *** cellular thermal shift assay(CETSA)and surface plasmon resonance(SPR)assay further confirmed the direct binding between the SHP2 and *** of the SHP2/SOS1/MAPK pathway through SHP2 knockdown or pharmacological inhibitors distinctly attenuated elaiophylin-induced paraptosis and autophagy ***,elaiophylin markedly increased the alreadyelevated MAPK levels and preferentially killed drug-resistant cells with enhanced basal MAPK *** overcame drug resistance by triggering paraptosis in multiple tumor-bearing mouse models resistant to platinum,taxane,or PARPi,suggesting that elaiophylin might offer a reasonable therapeutic strategy for refractory ovarian cancer.

Analysis of genetic progress for lodging-related traits provides important information for further improvement of lodging *** winter wheat cultivars widely grown in the Yellow-huai River Valleys Winter Wheat Zone(YHWZ)of China during the period of 1964–2015 were evaluated for several lodging-related traits in three cropping *** height,height at center of gravity,length of the basal second internode,and lodging index decreased significantly in this period,and the average annual genetic gains for these traits were–0.50 cm or–0.62%,–0.27 cm or–0.60%,–0.06 cm or–0.63%,and–0.01 or–0.94%,*** from other traits,stem strength showed a significant increasing trend with the breeding period,and the annual genetic gains were 0.03 N or 0.05%.Correlation analysis showed that lodging index was positively correlated with plant height,height at center of gravity,and length of the basal second internode,but negatively correlated with stem ***,significantly positive correlations were observed between plant height,height at center of gravity,and length of the basal first and second *** comparison with the wild types,dwarfing genes had significant effects on all lodging-related traits studied except for length of the basal first internode and stem *** component analysis demonstrated that plant height and stem strength were the most important factors influencing lodging *** analysis based on the first two principle components further indicated the targets of wheat lodging-resistant breeding have changed from reducing plant height to strengthening stem strength over the breeding *** study indicates that the increase of stem strength is vital to improve lodging resistance in this region under the high-yielding condition when plant height is in an optimal range.

以钾长石焙烧渣的酸化溶液为原料,Na_2CO_3溶液为沉淀剂制备高纯Al(OH)_3.实验考察了溶液终点pH值、反应温度、陈化时间、Na_2CO_3质量浓度对沉铝率的影响,得到优化工艺条件.采用化学成分分析,XRD,SEM,FTIR对Al(OH)_3粉体进行表征.结果表明:在反应温度50℃的条件下,加入质量浓度为300 g/L的Na_2CO_3溶液调节Al_2(SO_4)_3溶液,使其终点pH值至4.8,控制陈化时间40 min,沉铝率可达99%.得到的Al(OH)_3粉体为非晶态结构,颗粒均匀,表面粗糙,有团聚现象.

High-quality Bi2-xPbxSr2 CaCu2O8+δ(Bi2212) single crystals have been successfully grown by the traveling solvent floating zone technique with a wide range of Pb substitution(x = 0–0.8).The samples are characterized by transmission electron microscope(TEM) and measured by high resolution laser-based angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy(ARPES) with different photon energies.A systematic evolution of the electronic structure and superstructure with Pb substitution has been revealed for the first *** superstructure shows a significant change with Pb substitution and the incommensurate modulation vector(Q) decreases with increasing Pb *** the meantime, the superstructure intensity from ARPES measurements also decreases dramatically with increasing Pb *** superstructure in Bi2212 can be effectively suppressed by Pb substitution and it nearly disappears with a Pb substitution of x = *** also find that the superstructure bands in ARPES measurements depend sensitively on the photon energy of lasers used;they can become even stronger than the main band when using a laser photon energy of 10.897 *** results provide important information on the origin of the incommensurate superstructure and its control and suppression in bismuth-based high temperature superconductors.
