BACKGROUND Curcumin originates from the natural herb turmeric,and its antitumor effects have been known about for a long ***,the mechanism by which curcumin affects gastric cancer(GC)has not been *** To elucidate the potential mechanisms of curcumin in the treatment of *** Network pharmacological approaches were used to perform network analysis of *** first analyzed Lipinski’s Rule of Five for the use of *** latent targets were predicted using the PharmMapper,SwissTargetPrediction and DrugBank network *** disease targets were mined through the GeneCard,OMIM,DrugBank and TTD network ***,GO enrichment,KEGG enrichment,protein-protein interaction(PPI),and overall survival analyses were *** results were further verified through molecular docking,differential expression analysis and cell *** We identified a total of 48 curcumin-related genes with 31 overlapping GC-related *** intersection targets between curcumin and GC have been enriched in 81 GO biological processes and 22 significant *** PPI analysis,6 hub targets were identified,namely,estrogen receptor 1(ESR1),epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR),cytochrome P450 family 3 subfamily A member 4(CYP3A4),mitogen-activated protein kinase 14(MAPK-14),cytochrome P450 family 1 subfamily A member 2(CYP1A2),and cytochrome p450 family 2 subfamily B member 6(CYP2B6).These factors are correlated with decreased survival rates among patients diagnosed with *** docking analysis further substantiated the strong binding interactions between Curcumin and the hub target *** experimental findings demonstrated that curcumin not only effectively inhibits the growth of BGC-823 cells but also suppresses their *** levels of hub targets CYP3A4,MAPK14,CYP1A2,and CYP2B6 in BGC-823 cells were significantly increased in each dose *** Curcumin can play an anti-GC role through a variety of

Mechanism of local solidification time variations with melt rate during vacuum arc remelting process of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel

A 2D axisymmetric numerical model was established to investigate the variations of molten pool with different melt rates during the vacuum arc remelting of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel,and the ingot growth was simulated by dynamic mesh *** results show that as the ingot grows,the molten pool profile changes from shallow and flat to V-shaped,and both the molten pool depth and the mushy width ***,the variation of both the molten pool shape and the mushy width melt rate is clarified by the thermal equilibrium *** melt rate increases,both the molten pool depth and the mushy width *** is caused by the increment in sensible heat stored in the ingot due to the limitation of the cooling capacity of the *** nonlinear increment in sensible heat leads to a nonlinear increase in the mushy *** addition,as melt rate increases,the local solidification time(LST)of ingot decreases obviously at first and then *** melt rate is controlled in a suitable range,LST is the lowest and the secondary dendrite arm spacing of the ingot is the smallest,which can effectively improve the compactness degree of 8Cr4Mo4V high-strength steel.

Hydrodynamic Characteristics of Undular Tidal Bores in the Qiantang River Based on Field Observations

Understanding the undular tidal bores in the Qiantang River is essential for effective river management and *** breaking tidal bores have been studied extensively, reports on undular tidal bores in the Qiantang Riverremain limited. Furthermore, observed data on undular tidal bores fulfilling the requirements of short measurementtime intervals, and spring, medium, and neap tide coverage, and providing detailed data for the global vertical stratificationof flow velocity are quite limited. Based on field observations at Qige in the Qiantang estuary, we analyzedthe characteristics of undular tidal bores. The results showed that the flooding amplitude (a) of the first wave isalways larger than its ebbing amplitude (b). Moreover, the vertical distribution of the maximum flood velocity exhibitesthree shapes, influenced by the tidal range, while that of the maximum ebb velocity exhibites a single shape. Duringthe initial phase of the flood tide in the spring and medium tides, the upper water body experiences multiple oscillatingchanges along the flow direction, corresponding to the alternating process of the crest and trough of the tide levelupon the arrival of the tidal bore. The tidal range is a crucial parameter in tidal bore hydrodynamics. By establishingthe relationship between hydrodynamic parameters and tidal range, other hydrodynamic parameters, such as the tidalbore height, maximum flood depth–averaged velocity, maximum flood stratified velocity at the measurement points,and duration of the flood tide current, can be effectively predicted, thereby providing an important reference for rivermanagement and maintenance.

Unstructured Road Extraction in UAV Images based on Lightweight Model

There is no unified planning standard for unstructured roads,and the morphological structures of these roads are complex and *** is important to maintain a balance between accuracy and speed for unstructured road extraction *** road extraction algorithms based on deep learning have problems such as high model complexity,high computational cost,and the inability to adapt to current edge computing ***,it is best to use lightweight network *** the need for lightweight models and the characteristics of unstructured roads with different pattern shapes,such as blocks and strips,a TMB(Triple Multi-Block)feature extraction module is proposed,and the overall structure of the TMBNet network is *** TMB module was compared with SS-nbt,Non-bottleneck-1D,and other modules via *** feasibility and effectiveness of the TMB module design were proven through experiments and *** comparison experiment,using multiple convolution kernel categories,proved that the TMB module can improve the segmentation accuracy of the *** comparison with different semantic segmentation networks demonstrates that the TMBNet network has advantages in terms of unstructured road extraction.

Efficient capture,safe storage and release of tritium from the international thermonuclear experimental reactor(ITER) reaction exhaust gas is a perplexing problem,and the development of an efficient tritium-getter material with ultra-low hydrogenation equilibrium pressure is considered as a reliable *** this work,Zr_(2)Co alloy was selected as a tritium-getter material and prepared through induction levitation *** performance test results show that Zr_(2)Co exhibits an ultra-low hydrogenation equilibrium pressure of 3.22 × 10^(-6) Pa at 25℃ and excellent hydriding kinetics under a low hydrogen pressure of 0.005 ***,unique phase transition behaviors were presented in Zr_(2)Co-H ***,Zr_(2)CoH_(5) formed by Zr_(2)Co hydrogenated at room temperature is initially decomposed into ZrH_(2) and ZrCoH_(3) at200 ℃.With the temperature increasing to 350 ℃,ZrCoH_(3)is dehydrogenated to ZrCo,and then ZrCo further reacts with ZrH_(2) at 650 ℃ to reform Zr_(2)Co and *** the staged phase transition pathways during dehydrogenation,the decomposition of Zr_(2)CoH_(5) occurs preferentially,which is well accordance with both the smallest reaction energy barrier and the maximum reaction spontaneity that are determined respectively from kinetics activation energy and thermodynamics Gibbs free ***,first principles calculation results indicate that the stronger binding of hydrogen in interstitial environments of ZrCoH_(3)and ZrH_(2) triggers the hydrogen-stabilized phase transformation of Zr_(2)CoH_(5).The unique phase transition mechanisms in Zr_(2)Co-H system can shed light on the further exploration and regulation of analogous staged phase transition of hydrogen storage materials.

Real-time motion deblurring algorithm with robust noise suppression

In an image restoration process,to obtain good results is challenging because of the unavoidable existence of noise even if the blurring information is already *** suppress the deterioration caused by noise during the image deblurring process,we propose a new deblurring method with a known ***,the noise in the measurement process is assumed to meet the Gaussian distribution to fit the natural noise ***,the first and second orders of derivatives are supposed to satisfy the independent Gaussian distribution to control the non-uniform *** results show that our method is obviously superior to the Wiener filter,regularized filter,and Richardson-Lucy(RL) ***,owing to processing in the frequency domain,it runs faster than the other algorithms,in particular about six times faster than the RL algorithm.

A modified stochastic finite-fault method for estimating strong ground motion:Validation and application

We developed a modified stochastic finite-fault method for estimating strong ground *** adjustment to the dynamic corner frequency was introduced,which accounted for the effect of the location of the subfault relative to the hypocenter and rupture propagation direction,to account for the influence of the rupture propagation direction on the subfault dynamic corner *** comparing the peak ground acceleration(PGA),pseudo-absolute response spectra acceleration(PSA,damping ratio of 5%),and duration,the results of the modified and existing methods were compared,demonstrating that our proposed adjustment to the dynamic corner frequency can accurately reflect the rupture directivity *** applied our modified method to simulate near-field strong motions within 150 km of the 2008 MW7.9 Wenchuan earthquake *** modified method performed well over a broad period range,particularly at 0.04-4 *** total deviations of the stochastic finite-fault method(EXSIM)and the modified EXSIM were 0.1676 and 0.1494,*** modified method can effectively account for the influence of the rupture propagation direction and provide more realistic ground motion estimations for earthquake disaster mitigation.

Adsorption is one of the most feasible and effective methods to alleviate the volatile organic compounds(VOCs)***,the mixture effect and mechanism for competitive adsorption of VOCs on zeolites are barely *** this study,toluene,acetone,and ethyl acetate as prevalent VOCs species were removed by four potential zeolites(13X,USY,Beta,ZSM-5)in both single-and multi-component *** structure-property relationship between adsorbate-adsorbent pairs was revealed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectrometer,X-ray fluorescence,N_(2) adsorption and density function theory *** molecular polarity and volatility of VOCs species played key roles in adsorption and the dynamic uptakes were generally listed as follows:ethyl acetate>toluene>*** for the above VOCs mixtures,13X zeolite selectively adsorbed oxygenated VOCs rather than *** contrast,USY exhibited a preference to trap *** acetate could be readily enriched by ZSM-5 and Beta *** possible explanations and implications are discussed based on the subtle change in electron *** results obtained are vital for understanding the mixture effect of VOCs adsorption and may guide the selection of proper adsorbent for real applications.
