BACKGROUND Although surgery remains the primary treatment for gastric cancer(GC),the identification of effective alternative treatments for individuals for whom surgery is unsuitable holds ***2 overexpression occurs in approximately 15%-20%of advanced GC cases,directly affecting treatment-related ***-computed tomography(sCT)enables the quantification of material compositions,and sCT iodine concentration parameters have been demonstrated to be useful for the diagnosis of GC and prediction of its invasion depth,angioge-nesis,and response to systemic *** existing report describes the prediction of GC HER2 status through histogram analysis based on sCT iodine maps(IMs).AIM To investigate whether whole-volume histogram analysis of sCT IMs enables the prediction of the GC HER2 *** This study was performed with data from 101 patients with pathologically confirmed GC who underwent preoperative sCT *** parameters were extracted via sCT IM histogram analysis:The minimum,maximum,mean,standard deviation,variance,coefficient of variation,skewness,kurtosis,entropy,percentiles(1st,5th,10th,25th,50th,75th,90th,95th,and 99th),and lesion *** correlations of the parameters with the HER2 status and clinicopathological parameters were *** operating characteristic curves were used to evaluate the parameters’diagnostic *** Values for the histogram parameters of the maximum,mean,standard deviation,variance,entropy,and percentiles were significantly lower in the HER2+group than in the HER2–group(all P<0.05).The GC differentiation and Lauren classification correlated significantly with the HER2 status of tumor tissue(P=0.001 and 0.023,respectively).The 99th percentile had the largest area under the curve for GC HER2 status identification(0.740),with 76.2%,sensitivity,65.0%specificity,and 67.3%*** sCT IM histogram parameters correlated positively with the GC HER2 status(r=0.

Chromium released during municipal solid waste incineration(MSWI)is toxic and *** removal of chromium from simulated MSWI flue gas by four sorbents(CaO,bamboo charcoal(BC),powdered activated carbon(PAC),and Al_(2)O_(3))and the effects of four oxides(SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),Fe_(2)O_(3),and CaO)on chromium speciation transformationwere *** results showed that the removal rates of total Cr by the four sorbents were Al_(2)O_(3)bove 1000℃due to its strong acidity,and the addition of CaO significantly inhibited the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ).MgCrO_(4)decomposed above 700℃to form MgCr_(2)O_(4),and the reaction between MgCrO_(4)and oxides also existed in the form of a more stable trivalent ***,when investigating the effect of oxides on the oxidation of Cr(Ⅲ)in CrC_(l3),it was discovered that CaO promoted the conversion of Cr(Ⅲ)to Cr(Ⅵ),while the presence of chlorine caused chromium to exist in the form of Cr(V),and increasing the content of CaO and extending the heating time facilitated the oxidation of Cr(Ⅲ).In addition,silicate,aluminate,and ferrite were generated after the addition of SiO_(2),Al_(2)O_(3),and Fe_(2)O_(3),which reduced the alkalinity of CaO and had an important role in inhibiting the oxidation of Cr(Ⅲ).The acidic oxides can not only promote the reduction of Cr(Ⅵ)but also have an inhibitory effect on the oxidation of Cr(Ⅲ)ascribed to alkali metals/alkaline earth metals,and the proportion of acidic oxides can be increased moderately to reduce the generation of harmful substances in the hazardous solid waste heat treatment.

目的建立注射用生长抑素中有关物质的高效液相色谱检测方法。方法色谱柱为C18柱;以磷酸二氢钾溶液-乙腈为流动相,梯度洗脱。检测波长为215 nm,柱温为50℃。结果本研究新建方法能够将主成分以及7种主要降解杂质有效分离,生长抑素和7种杂质峰面积与浓度线性关系良好(r≥0.9991,n=8);7种杂质精密度、稳定性、重复性试验的相对标准偏差(RSD)均低于3.6%;平均回收率在100.0%~104.4%之间(n=9)。应用本研究新建方法测得样品中的杂质含量高于《欧洲药典》和《中国药典》方法所测得结果。结论该方法操作简便,结果准确,重复性好,可对注射用生长抑素杂质进行质量控制,并为该品种的标准修订提供方法依据。

Growth and inhibition of zinc anode dendrites in Zn-air batteries:Model and experiment

Zinc(Zn)-air batteries are widely used in secondary battery research owing to their high theoretical energy density,good electrochemical reversibility,stable discharge performance,and low cost of the anode active material ***,the Zn anode also leads to many challenges,including dendrite growth,deformation,and hydrogen precipitation *** this context,Zn dendrite growth has a greater impact on the cycle *** this dissertation,a dendrite growth model for a Zn-air battery was established based on electrochemical phase field theory,and the effects of the charging time,anisotropy strength,and electrolyte temperature on the morphology and growth height of Zn dendrites were studied.A series of experiments was designed with different gradient influencing factors in subsequent experiments to verify the theoretical simulations,including elevated electrolyte temperatures,flowing electrolytes,and pulsed *** simulation results show that the growth of Zn dendrites is controlled mainly by diffusion and mass transfer processes,whereas the electrolyte temperature,flow rate,and interfacial energy anisotropy intensity are the main *** experimental results show that an optimal electrolyte temperature of 343.15 K,an optimal electrolyte flow rate of 40 ml·min^(-1),and an effective pulse charging mode.

Integrated photonic devices are essential for on-chip optical communication,optical-electronic systems,and quantum information *** develop a high-fidelity interface between photonics in various frequency domains without disturbing their quantum properties,nonlinear frequency conversion,typically steered with the quadratic(χ2)process,should be ***,another degree of freedom in steering the spatial modes during theχ2 process,with unprecedent mode intensity is proposed here by modulating the lithium niobate(LN)waveguide-based inter-mode quasi-phasematching conditions with both temperature and wavelength *** high incident light intensities(25 and 27.8 dBm for the pump and the signal lights,respectively),mode conversion at the sum-frequency wavelength with sufficient high output power(−7–8 dBm)among the TM01,TM10,and TM00 modes is realized automatically with characterized broad temperature(ΔT≥8°C)and wavelength windows(Δλ≥1 nm),avoiding the previous efforts in carefully preparing the signal or pump *** results prove that high-intensity spatial modes can be prepared at arbitrary transparent wavelength of theχ2 media toward on-chip integration,which facilitates the development of chip-based communication and quantum information systems because spatial correlations can be applied to generate hyperentangled states and provide additional robustness in quantum error correction with the extended Hilbert space.

Constructing globally consecutive 3D conductive network using P-doped biochar cotton fiber for superior performance of silicon-based anodes

The inferior conductivity and drastic volume expansion of silicon still remain the bottleneck in achieving high energy density Lithium-ion Batteries(LIBs).The design of the three-dimensional structure of electrodes by compositing silicon and carbon materials has been employed to tackle the above challenges,however,the exorbitant costs and the uncertainty of the conductive structure persist,leaving ample room for ***,silicon nanoparticles were innovatively composited with eco-friendly biochar sourced from cotton to fabricate a 3D globally consecutive conductive *** network serves a dual purpose:enhancing overall electrode conductivity and serving as a scaffold to maintain electrode *** conductivity of the network was further augmented by introducing P-doping at the optimum doping temperature of 350℃.Unlike the local conductive sites formed by the mere mixing of silicon and conductive agents,the consecutive network can affirm the improvement of the conductivity at a macro ***,first-principle calculations further validated that the rapid diffusion of Li^(+)is attributed to the tailored electronic microstructure and charge rearrangement of the *** prepared consecutive conductive Si@P-doped carbonized cotton fiber anode outperforms the inconsecutive Si@Graphite anode in both cycling performance(capacity retention of 1777.15 mAh g^(-1) vs.682.56 mAh g^(-1) after 150 cycles at 0.3 C)and rate performance(1244.24 mAh g^(-1) vs.370.28 mAh g^(-1) at 2.0 C).The findings of this study may open up new avenues for the development of globally interconnected conductive networks in Si-based anodes,thereby enabling the fabrication of high-performance LIBs.

Improvement of titanium alloy TA19 fatigue life by submerged abrasive waterjet peening:Correlation of its process parameters with surface integrity and fatigue performance

Submerged abrasive waterjet peening(SAWJP)is an effective anti-fatigue manufacturing technology that is widely used to strengthen aeroengine *** study investigated the correlation of SAWJP process parameters on surface integrity and fatigue life of titanium alloy *** with different water pressures and standoff distances(SoDs)was conducted on the TA19 *** surface integrity of the specimens before and after SAWJP with different process parameters was experimentally studied,including microstructure,surface roughness,microhardness,and compressive residual stress(CRS).Finally,fatigue tests of the specimens before and after SAWJP treatment with different process parameters were carried out at room *** results highlighted that the fatigue life of the TA19 specimen can be increased by 5.46,5.98,and 6.28 times under relatively optimal process parameters,which is mainly due to the improved surface integrity of the specimen after SAWJP ***,the fatigue life of specimens treated with improper process parameters is decreased by 0.55 to 0.69 times owing to the terrible surface roughness caused by the material *** work verifies that SAWJP can effectively improve the surface integrity and fatigue life of workpieces,and reveals the relationship between process parameters,surface integrity,and fatigue life,which provides support for the promotion of SAWJP in the manufacturing fields.

Enhanced nitrite electroreduction to ammonia via interfacial dual-site adsorption

The nitrite(NO_(2)^(−))to ammonia(NH3)electroreduction reaction(NO_(2)^(−)RR)would be impeded by sluggish proton-coupled electron transfer kinetics and competitive hydrogen evolution reaction(HER).A key to improving the NH_(3) selectivity is to facilitate adsorption and activation of NO_(2)^(−),which is generally undesirable in unitary *** this work,an efficient NO_(2)^(−)RR catalyst is constructed by cooperating Pd with In2O3,in which NO_(2)^(−)could adsorb on interfacial dual-site through“Pd–N–O–In”linkage,leading to strengthened NO_(2)^(−)adsorption and easier N=O bond cleavage than that on unitary Pd or ***,the Pd/In_(2)O_(3)composite exhibits moderate H^(*)adsorption,which may facilitate protonation kinetics while inhibiting competitive *** a result,it exhibits a fairly high NH_(3)yield rate of 622.76 mmol h^(−1)g^(−1)cat with a Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 95.72%,good selectivity of 91.96%,and cycling stability towards the NO_(2)^(−)RR,surpassing unitary In_(2)O_(3)and Pd/C ***,computed results indicate that NH_(3)production on Pd/In_(2)O_(3)follows the deoxidation to hydrogenation *** work highlights the significance of H^(*)and NO_(2)^(−)adsorption modulation and N=O activation in NO_(2)^(−)RR electrochemistry by creating synergy between a mediocre catalyst with an appropriate cooperator.
