Microstructure-based multiphysics modeling for semiconductor integration and packaging

Semiconductor technology and packaging is advancing rapidly toward system integration where the packaging is co-designed and co-manufactured along with the wafer ***,materials issues,in particular the mesoscale microstructure,have to date been excluded from the integrated product design cycle of electronic packaging due to the myriad of materials used and the complex nature of the material phenomena that require a multiphysics approach to *** the context of the materials genome initiative,we present an overview of a series of studies that aim to establish the linkages between the material microstructure and its responses by considering the multiple perspectives of the various multiphysics *** microstructure was predicted using thermodynamic calculations,sharp interface kinetic models,phase field,and phase field crystal *** on the predicted mesoscale microstructure,linear elastic mechanical analyses and electromigration simulations on the ultrafine interconnects were *** microstructural index extracted by a method based on singular value decomposition exhibits a monotonous decrease with an increase in the interconnect *** artificial neural network-based fitting revealed a nonlinear relationship between the microstructure index and the average von Mises stress in the ultrafine *** work to address the randomness of microstructure and the resulting scatter in the reliability is discussed in this study.

The 28 nm process has a high cost-performance ratio and has gradually become the standard for the field of radiation-hardened ***,owing to the minimum physical gate length of only 35 nm,the physical area of a standard 6T SRAM unit is approximately 0.16μm^(2),resulting in a significant enhancement of multi-cell charge-sharing ***-cell upsets(MCUs)have become the primary physical mechanism behind single-event upsets(SEUs)in advanced nanometer node *** range of ionization track effects increases with higher ion energies,and spacecraft in orbit primarily experience SEUs caused by high-energy ***,ground accelerator experiments have mainly obtained low-energy ion irradiation ***,the impact of ion energy on the SEU cross section,charge collection mechanisms,and MCU patterns and quantities in advanced nanometer devices remains *** this study,based on the experimental platform of the Heavy Ion Research Facility in Lanzhou,low-and high-energy heavy-ion beams were used to study the SEUs of 28 nm SRAM *** influence of ion energy on the charge collection processes of small-sensitive-volume devices,MCU patterns,and upset cross sections was obtained,and the applicable range of the inverse cosine law was *** findings of this study are an important guide for the accurate evaluation of SEUs in advanced nanometer devices and for the development of radiation-hardening techniques.

Forkhead box (Fox) proteins play critical roles in the regulation of differentiation, proliferation, immunity and aging of cells. Most studies on Fox proteins are limited to cultured cells and rodent. The aim of the current study is to detect by im- munohistrochemistry whether FoxO1, FoxO3a and FoxO4 proteins are localized in the stomach and intestine of the pig. The results showed that FoxO4 exists in the mucosa in all parts of the stomach and intestine; FoxO3a exists mainly in the lamina propria and muscularis of some parts. However, FoxO1 is not detectable in all parts of the stomach and intestine. Collectively, the results of the present study indicate that there exists a distinct expression pattern of Fox proteins, and that FoxO4 is a primary forkhead transcriptional factor localized in the gastrointestinal tracts of the pig.

本文对蜂窝夹芯壁板剪切屈曲载荷的三种分析方法进行了研究,分析方法包含工程法、线性有限元法和非线性有限元法。工程法中,计算出相关参数后直接查取图表获得屈曲载荷系数,再求出屈曲载荷。线性有限元法利用子空间特征值求解法得到各阶特征值,最小特征值与加载载荷的乘积即为屈曲载荷。非线性有限元法中,以位移最大点处内面板或者外面板的最小主应变变化趋势发生转折时的载荷作为屈曲载荷。进行了蜂窝夹芯板的剪切试验,试验结果表明工程法预测结果过于保守,线性有限元法和非线性有限元法的预测结果很接近,且与试验结果吻合较好。

Gastric carcinoma with osteoclast-like giant cells:a case report and review of the literature

Gastric carcinoma with osteoclast-like giant cells(OGCs) is an extremely rare tumor. So far,only six cases have been reported in the literature. Here we report an additional case of this tumor in a Chinese 78-year-old man presented with abdominal pain,vomiting,and hematemesis. Physical examination and gastroscopy revealed a tumor in the gastric antrum. The biopsy and pathological findings indicated a gastric adenocarcinoma with OGCs,which were present in both the tumor and the metastatic lymph nodes. Further immunohistochemical staining indicated that OGCs were reactive with CD68,CD45,and vimentin protein,but not with pancytokeratin,carcinoembryonic antigen,or epithelial membrane antigen,suggesting the monocytic/histiocytic derivation of these OGCs. In situ hybridization for Epstein-Barr virus showed no nuclear positivity in either adenocarcinoma or OGCs. Postoperative follow-up showed that the patient had survived for at least 6 months without recurrence. Further investigation is warranted to clearly define the prognostic significance of OGCs in gastric carcinoma.

Diffusion bonding of refractory Nb–Si-based alloy was performed with Ni/Al and Ti/Al nanolayers under the condition of 1473 K/30 MPa/60 *** NbSS/Nb5Si3 in situ composite with the nominal composition of Nb–22 Ti–16 Si–3 Cr–3 Al–2 Hf was used as the parent *** joint microstructures were examined by using a scanning electron microscope equipped with an X-ray energy dispersive *** test was conducted for the bonded joints at room *** the joint bonded with Ni/Al multilayer,element diffusion occurred between the base metal and the nanolayer,with the reaction products of AlNb2+Ni3 Al,NiAl and AlNi2 Ti *** average shear strength was 182 *** using Ti/Al multilayer,the interface mainly consisted of TiAl,(Ti,Nb)Al and(Ti,Nb)2 Al phases,and the corresponding joints exhibited an increased strength of 228 *** this case,the fracture mainly took place in the TiAl phase and presented a typical brittle characteristic.

The Dirac–Weyl equation characterized quasi-particles in the T3 lattice are studied under external magnetic field using the generalized uncertainty principle(GUP). The energy spectrum of the quasi-particles is found by the Nikiforov–Uvarov method. Based on the energy spectrum obtained, the thermodynamic properties are given, and the influence of the GUP on the statistical properties of systems is discussed. The results show that the energy and thermodynamic functions of massless Dirac–Weyl fermions in the T3 lattice depend on the variation of the GUP parameter.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)-induced cytokine storm is closely associated with coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)severity and ***,drugs that are effective against inflammation to treat lethal COVID-19 are still urgently ***,we constructed a SARS-CoV-2 spike protein-specific CAR,and human T cells infected with this CAR(SARS-CoV-2-S CAR-T)and stimulated with spike protein mimicked the T-cell responses seen in COVID-19 patients,causing cytokine storm and displaying a distinct memory,exhausted,and regulatory T-cell ***1 remarkably augmented cytokine release in SARS-CoV-2-S CAR-T cells when they were in *** on this"two-cell"(CAR-T and THP1 cells)model,we screened an FDA-approved drug library and found that felodipine,fasudil,imatinib,and caspofungin were effective in suppressing the release of cytokines,which was likely due to their ability to suppress the NF-kB pathway in ***,fasudi,imatinib,and caspofungin were further demonstrated,although to different extents,to attenuate lethal inflammation,ameliorate severe pneumonia,and prevent mortality in a SARS-CoV-2-infected Syrian hamster model,which were also linked to their suppressive role in *** summary,we established a SARS-CoV-2-specific CAR-T-cell model that can be utilized as a tool for anti-inflammatory drug screening in a fast and high-throughput *** drugs identified herein have great potential for early treatment to prevent COVID-19 patients from cytokine storm-induced lethality in the clinic because they are safe,inexpensive,and easily accessible for immediateuseinmostcountries.
