Solid-state batteries that employ solid-state electrolytes(SSEs)to replace routine liquid electrolytes are considered to be one of the most promising solutions for achieving high-safety lithium metal *** with high mechanical modulus,thermal stability,and non-flammability can not only inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites but also enhance the safety of lithium metal ***,several internal materials/electrodes-related thermal hazards demonstrated by recent works show that solid-state lithium metal batteries(SSLMBs)are not ***,understanding the potential thermal hazards of SSLMBs is critical for their more secure and widespread *** this contribution,we provide a comprehensive overview of the thermal failure mechanism of SSLMBs from materials to ***,strategies to improve the thermal safety performance of SSLMBs are included from the view of material enhancement,battery design,and external ***,the future directions are further *** hope that this work can shed bright insights into the path of constructing energy storage devices with high energy density and safety.

The leakage gas from a buried natural gas pipelines has the great potential to cause economic losses and environmental pollution owing to the complexity of the mountainous *** this study,computational fluid dynamics(CFD)method was applied to investigate the diffusion law and hazard range of buried natural gas pipeline leakage in mountainous *** on cloud chart,concentration at the monitoring site and hazard range of lower explosion limit(LEL)and upper explosion limit(UEL),the influences of leakage hole direction and shape,soil property,burial depth,obstacle type on the diffusion law and hazard range are *** show that the leakage gas is not radially diffused until it reaches the ground,and the velocity of gas diffusion to the ground and the hazard range decrease as the angle between the leaking direction and the buoyancy direction *** and square leak holes have a faster diffusion rate and a wider hazard range than *** diffusion rate of leakage gas in soil rises as soil granularity and porosity *** time of leakage gas diffusion to the ground increases significantly with the increase of burial depth,and the hazard range reduces as burial depth ***-type obstacles will alter the diffusion path of the leakage gas and accelerate the expansion of the hazard distance,while trench-type obstacles will cause the natural gas to accumulate in the trench and form a high concentration region slowing the expansion of the surface gas concentration.

The Effect of Immunotherapy on the Gut Microbiota,Intestinal Barrier,and Immune Function in Patients with Gastric Cancer

Objective:To explore the effect of immunotherapy on the gut microbiota,intestinal barrier,and immune function in patients with gastric ***:From July 2023 to July 2024,60 patients with gastric cancer from our hospital were randomly divided into two groups,the control group and the study group,with 30 patients in each *** control group received conventional treatment,while the study group received immunotherapy.A comparative analysis was conducted between the two groups on gut microbiota content(Bifidobacterium,Fusobacterium nucleatum,Streptococcus,Lactobacillus acidophilus),intestinal barrier indicators[D-lactate(D-LA),diamine oxidase(DAO),lipopolysaccharide(LPS)],immune function indicators[Immunoglobulin A(IgA),Immunoglobulin G(IgG),Immunoglobulin M(IgM)],adverse reactions,and treatment ***:After treatment,the content of Bifidobacterium and Fusobacterium nucleatum in the study group was higher than in the control group,while the content of Streptococcus and Lactobacillus acidophilus was lower than in the control group(P<0.05).The levels of D-lactate and DAO in the study group were lower than in the control group,while the LPS level in the study group was higher(P<0.05).The levels of IgA and IgG in the study group were lower than in the control group,and the IgM level was also lower than in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment,the total incidence of adverse reactions in the study group was lower than in the control group(P<0.05).The overall treatment efficacy rate in the study group was higher than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Immunotherapy in patients with gastric cancer can improve gut microbiota,intestinal barrier,and immune function,reduce the occurrence of adverse reactions,and promote better clinical treatment outcomes,making it worthy of clinical recommendation.

Recent trends in road engineering have explored the potential of incorporating recycled solid wastes into infrastructures that including pavements,bridges,tunnels,and accessory *** utilization of solid wastes is expected to offer sustainable solutions to waste recycling while enhancing the performance of *** review provides an extensive analysis of the recycling of three main types of solid wastes for road engineering purposes:industrial solid waste,infrastructure solid waste,and municipal life solid *** solid wastes suitable for road engineering generally include coal gangue,fly ash,blast furnace slag,silica fume,and steel slag,*** solid wastes recycled in road engineering primarily consist of construction&demolition waste,reclaimed asphalt pavements,and recycled cement ***,recent exploration has extended to the utilization of municipal life solid wastes,such as incinerated bottom ash,glass waste,electronics waste,plastic waste,and rubber waste in road engineering *** recycled solid wastes are categorized into solid waste aggregates,solid waste cements,and solid waste fillers,each playing distinct roles in road *** of solid waste acting aggregates,cements,and fillers in road infrastructures were fully investigated,including their pozzolanic properties,integration effects to virgin materials,modification or enhancement solutions,engineering *** of these materials not only addresses the challenge of waste management but also offers environmental benefits aiming carbon neutral and contributes to sustainable infrastructure ***,challenges such as variability in material properties,environmental impact mitigation,secondary pollution to environment by leaching,and concerns regarding long-term performance need to be further *** these challenges,the recycled solid wastes hold immense potential in revolutionizing road construction

We investigate the resource allocation problem of a cell-free massive multiple-input multiple-output system under the condition of colluding eavesdropping by multiple passive *** address the problem of limited pilot resources,a scheme is proposed to allocate the pilot with the minimum pollution to users based on access point selection and optimize the pilot transmission power to improve the accuracy of channel *** at the secure transmission problem under a colluding eavesdropping environment by multiple passive eavesdroppers,based on the local partial zero-forcing precoding scheme,a transmission power optimization scheme is formulated to maximize the system’s minimum security spectral *** results show that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce channel estimation error and improve system security.

Epigenetic pathways play a critical role in the initiation, progression, and metastasis of cancer. Over the past few decades, significant progress has been made in the development of targeted epigenetic modulators(e.g., inhibitors). However, epigenetic inhibitors have faced multiple challenges,including limited clinical efficacy, toxicities, lack of subtype selectivity, and drug resistance. As a result,the design of new epigenetic modulators(e.g., degraders) such as PROTACs, molecular glue, and hydrophobic tagging(Hy T) degraders has garnered significant attention from both academia and pharmaceutical industry, and numerous epigenetic degraders have been discovered in the past decade. In this review,we aim to provide an in-depth illustration of new degrading strategies(2017-2023) targeting epigenetic proteins for cancer therapy, focusing on the rational design, pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, clinical status, and crystal structure information of these degraders. Importantly, we also provide deep insights into the potential challenges and corresponding remedies of this approach to drug design and development. Overall, we hope this review will offer a better mechanistic understanding and serve as a useful guide for the development of emerging epigenetic-targeting degraders.

BACKGROUND Lidocaine/prilocaine(EMLA)cream is a local anesthetic that is applied to the skin or mucosa during painful therapeutic procedures with few reported side *** SUMMARY Here,we report the use of dermatoscopy to identify a case of erythema with purpura,a rare side effect,after the application of 5%EMLA *** We conclude that erythema with purpura is caused by irritation and toxicity associated with EMLA,but the specific mechanism by which the toxic substance affects skin blood vessels is *** response to this situation and for cosmetic needs,we recommend tranexamic acid,in addition to routine therapy,to prevent changes in pigmentation in patients with dermatitis.

Dear Editor,Utilization of heterosis is fundamental to modern agricultural improvement and contributes significantly to food security and agricultural development(Ouyang et al.,2022).However,heterosis of F,hybrids cannot be stably ***,or asexual reproduction through seeds,offers the potential for the fixation of heterosis in F,hybrids and the formation of clonal offspring,which could have considerable implications for plant breeding and agriculture(Schmidt,2020).But naturally occurring apomixis has never been found in major ***,synthetic apomixis has been successfully generated by inducing incomplete meiotic development combined with parthenogenesis development to produce cloned rice(Oryza sativa)seeds(Khanday et al.,2019;Wang et al.,2019;Vernet et al.,2022;Wei et al.,2023).
