The electrochemical utilization of Zn anodes in aqueous batteries is hampered by the intricate and interconnected issues of Zn dendrite growth,H2.volution and Zn corrosion *** this study,a multifunctional protective layer comprising MXene and graphitic carbon nitride （g-C3N4） was constructed using a self-assembly *** MXene/g-C3N4protective layer exhibited robust zincophilic characteristics,which facilitated a uniform distribution of the electric field and ensured a sufficient influx of Zn2..This reduces the Zn2.nucleation barrier and prevents dendrite *** addition,the hydrophobic nature of the protective layer,coupled with its negative charge,can repel SO42.and select water molecules from the electrolyte,which aids in mitigating corrosion and *** symmetric Zn cell coated with the MXene/g-C3N4protective layer showed remarkable stability,achieving over 2.00 h of reversible cycling at1 mA·***,the MXene/g-C3N4-coated Zn anode paired with a sodium-doped V2.5cathode （NVO）exhibited enhanced cycling capability over 1500 cycles.

Microsized bismuth(Bi)with in-situ constructed three-dimensional(3D)porous network has been considered as a promising anode for high-performance potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).However,the mechanism of the in-situ porous evolution of microsized Bi during the charge/discharge process is still ***,various electrolytes are employed to disclose the origin of porous evolution of microsized Bi in *** and theoretically,the 3D porous network originates from the uniform interfacial charge distribution on the Bi surface in the linear ether-based *** addition,the universality of the interfacial charge distribution mechanism was verified by microsized Sn and *** in-situ constructed 3D porous network of Bi enables a superior potassium storage performance in a wide temperature range from-40 to 40℃.More importantly,the K_(0.9)Mn_(0.7)Ni_(0.3)O_(2.||Bi full cell delivers excellent cycling stability(a high capacity retention of 88.44%even after 2.000 cycles)and good temperature *** work gives a distinct clarification of the origin of the porous evolution of microsized Bi during cycling,which is critical for developing high-performance PIBs.

The spent lithium-ion batteries recovery has been brought into focus widely for its environmental imperatives and potential profits from the metal components,such as lithium,cobalt,nickel and ***,the weaker pollution and fewer profits of LiMn2.4cathode dispel the enthusiasm and responsibility of industry ***,a simplified and efncient method to regenerate the sodium-ion cathode materials and separate Li from spent LiMn2.4materials for the profit improvement is *** detail,adjusting the parameters of carbothermal reduction process appropriately,the LiMn2.4spinel structure is destroyed within a short period time and transformed into simple metal *** anticipated,nearly 95 wt.%lithium can be obtained and recovered during the water leaching,while 99 wt.% of manganese can be extracted in acid *** that the leaching residue can return to the carbothermic reduction,leading to a closed-loop economic recycling *** regenerated Na0.67Ni0.3Mn0.7O2.athode displays excellent electrochemical performance with superior cycling stability(the initial capacity reaches 95.9 mAh·g-1,and the retention rate reached 98.3% after 100 cycles at 1 C).The delicate strategy of sodium-ion cathode material regenerated from spent LiMn2.4aims to realize lithium separation and material utilization of manganese simultaneously,providing the instructive suggestion to rise up the recycling profits of spent batteries.

To achieve high microwave permeability in wide-band for the micron-thick magnetic films,[Fe-Fe_(2.)Ni_(80)/Cr]_(n) multilayer structure was proposed by co-sputtering Fe and FeNi to form the magnetic layers and Cr to form the *** multilayer structure contributes to the high permeability by reducing the coercivity and diminishing out-of-plane *** maximum imaginary permeability of[Fe-Fe_(2.)Ni_(80)/Cr]_(n) multilayer film reaches a large value of 800 at 0.52.GHz even though its overall thickness exceeds 1μ***,the magnetic resonance frequency of the multilayer film can be modulated from 0.52.to 1.35 GHz by adjusting the sputtering power of Fe from 0 to 86 W,and its bandwidth for μ’’>2.0(Δf) is as large as 2.0 *** desirable broad Δf of magnetic permeability,which can be well fitted by the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equations,is due to dual magnetic resonances originated from double magnetic phases of Fe and FeNi that are of different saturation *** micron-thick multilayer films with high permeability in extended waveband are promising candidate for electromagnetic noise suppression application.

Solar active regions(ARs)are formed by the emergence of current-carrying magnetic flux tubes from below the *** for an isolated flux tube the direct and return currents flowing along the tube should balance with each other,it remains controversial whether such a neutralization of currents is also maintained during the emergence *** we present a systematic survey of the degrees of the current neutralization in a large sample of flux-emerging ARs which appeared on the solar disk around the central meridian from 2.10 to *** vector magnetograms taken by Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager onboard Solar Dynamic Observatory are employed to calculate the distributions of the vertical current density at the *** on the main phase of flux emergence,i.e.,the phase in which the total unsigned magnetic flux is continuously increased,we statistically examined the ratios of direct to return currents in all the *** a large-sample statistical study suggests that most of the ARs were born with currents close to *** degree of current neutralization seems to be not affected by the active-region size,the active-region growing rate,and the total unsigned *** only correlation of significance as found is that the stronger the magnetic field nonpotentiality is,the further the AR deviates from current neutrality,which supports previous event studies that eruption-productive ARs often have non-neutralized currents.
