Design of 25 Gbit/s half-rate CDR with 1:2 demultiplexer for 100 GbE optical interconnects

A 25 Gbit/s clock and data recovery （CDR） circuit with 1：2 demultiplexer for 100 Gbit/s Ethemet （100 GbE） optical interconnects has been designed and fabricated in Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacture Company （TSMC） 65nm complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor （CMOS） technology. A novel quadrature voltage-controlled-oscillator （QVCO） structure adopts two pairs of transconductance cell and inverters to acquire rail-to-rail output swing. A half-rate bang-bang phase detector adopts four flip-flops array to sample the 25 Gbit/s input data and align the data phase, so the 25 Gbit/s data are retimed and demultiplexed into two paths 12.5 Gbit/s output data. Experimental results show that the recovered clock exhibits a peak-to-peak jitter of 7.39 ps and the recovered data presents a peak-to-peak jitter of 7.56 ps, in response to 231 - 1 pseudorandom bit sequence （PRBS） input. For 1.2 V voltage supply, the CDR circuit consumes 92 mW （excluding output buffers）.

An observable experiment facility for low-temperature molten materials to be dropped into water was set up in this study to investigate the mechanism of the vapor explosion. The effect of the fuel and coolant interaction (FCI) on the vapor explosion during the severe accidents of a fission nuclear reactor has been studied. The experiment results showed that the molten material temperature has an important effect on the vapor explosion behavior and pressure. The increase of the coolant temperature would decrease the pressure of the vapor explosion.

Poly（ethylene glycol） diacrylate/polyvinyl alcohoI（PEGDA/PVA） hydrogels were prepared from PEGDA and PVA as precurors by means of single UV radiation（UV ra.）, UV radiation followed by high energy electron beam irradiation（Irra.）, UV radiation followed by freeze-thawing（FT） or UV ra. and Irra. followed by FT, respectively. 2-Hydroxy-l-[4-（hydroxyethoxy）phenyl]-2-methyl-l-propanone（Irgacure 2959） was used as a photoinitiator. The effects of the various methods on the swelling and mechanical properties of the hydrogels were investigated. The results show that hydrogels made by UV ra. plus high energy electron beam irradiation followed by FT showed a higher crosslinking density and a larger tensile strength than those made by the other methods.

It is imperative to develop and implement newer,more effective strategies to address refractory diabetic *** of now,there is currently no optimal solution for these *** human umbilical vein endothelial cells(huVECs)-derived exosomes have been postulated to promote diabetic wound healing,however,its effect and molecular mechanism need further *** this study,we aimed to investigate whether hypoxic exosomes enhance wound healing in *** on our high-throughput sequencing,differentially expressed lncRNAs(including 64 upregulated lncRNAs and 94 downregulated lncRNAs)were found in hypoxic exosomes compared to normoxic ***,lncHAR1B was one of the prominently upregulated lncRNAs in hypoxic exosomes,showing a notable correlation with diabetic wound *** specifically,hypoxic exosomes were transmitted to surrounding cells,which resulted in a significant increase in lncHAR1B level,thereby relieving the dysfunction of endothelial cells and promoting the switch from M1 to M2 macrophages under high glucose ***,lncHAR1B directly interacted with the transcription factor basic helix-loop-helix family member e23(BHLHE23),which subsequently led to its binding to the KLF transcription factor 4(KLF4)and promoted KLF4 *** our in vivo experiments,the use of hypoxic exosomes-loaded HGM-QCS hydrogels(Gel-H-Exos)resulted in rapid wound healing compared to that of normoxic exosomes-loaded HGM-QCS hydrogels(Gel-N-Exos)and diabetic ***,our study provides potentially novel therapeutic approaches aimed at accelerating wound healing and developing a practical exosomes delivery platform.

Background: The guild concept is useful for understanding the community structure in a land-bridge island system,but most fragmentation studies have focused only on the importance of island area and isolation, other island attributes such as perimeter-area ratio(PAR) were overlooked or ***: We have adopted a guild approach to investigate the impacts of island attributes on bird guild richness on a set of 41 recently isolated land-bridge islands in the Thousand Island Lake(TIL), ***: We found insectivores had the largest number of species(34 species), fol owed by understory foraging guilds(28 species), omnivores(27 species) and canopy guilds(25 species). Furthermore, our data showed that migrants and residents responded equal y to island area, insectivores and understory guilds were sensitive to island area but omnivores and canopy guilds were not very sensitive. Most guild richness was determined by island area, except for omnivores and canopy ***: Although PAR or habitat diversity found to be important for bird species richness, our results highlight the importance of island area in maintaining bird diversity in fragmented island systems.

By sintering CaCu3Ti4O12ceramics at different temperatures and testing the samples＇ properties, the segregation behavior of Cu and its effects were carefully studied. As the temperature rises, CuO segregates to the grain boundaries and gradually volatilize. Complete decomposition and volatilization occur at 1150℃. The behavior of CuO is found to be closely related to the formation of the grain boundary barrier, as well as the acquirement and evolution of the electrical properties, which are revealed in the research.

BACKGROUND： Nerve growth factor （NGF） attenuates glutamate-induced injury to hippocampal neurons, and the human tumor suppressor gene phosphatase and tensin homologue deleted on chromosome 10 （PTEN） promotes neuronal apoptosis. However, effects of PTEN in NGF-mediated neuroprotection against glutamate excitotoxicity remain poorly understood. OBJECTIVE： To investigate the relationship between NGF inhibition of glutamate-induced injury and PTEN. DESIGN, TIME AND SE＇I＇rlNG： The randomized, controlled, in vitro study was performed at the Department of Pathophysiology, Medical School of Nantong University, China from October 2007 to March 2008. MATERIALS： Glutamate, NGF, 4, 6-diamidino-2-phenyl-indolediacetate, 3-[4, 5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl]- 2, 5-diphenyl tetrazoliumbromide （M-I-F）, and lactate dehydrogenase kit （Sigma, USA）, fluorescence microscope and inverted phase contrast microscope （Olympus, Japan） were used in this study. METHODS： Hippocampal neurons were obtained from newborn （〈 24 hours） Sprague Dawley rats and cultured for 7 days. The control group was not treated with any intervention factor, the glutamate group was treated with glutamate （0.2 mmol/L）, and NGF groups were treated with NGF （10, 50, 100, and 200 μg/L, respectively） prior to glutamate treatment. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES： The MTT and lactate dehydrogenase assays were applied to evaluate viability of hippocampal neurons. Morphological changes in hippocampal neurons were observed using an inverted phase-contrast microscope, and neuronal apoptosis was detected by 4, 6-diamidino-2- phenyl-indolediacetate staining. PTEN mRNA and protein expression were measured by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and Western blot analysis, respectively. RESULTS： Glutamate （0.2 mmol/L） induced significantly decreased neuronal viability and greater lactate dehydrogenase efflux compared with the control group （P 〈 0.01）.
