Inorganic nanocarriers are potent candidates for delivering conventional anticancer drugs,nucleic acid-based therapeutics,and imaging agents,influencing their blood half-lives,tumor targetability,and *** addition to the high surface area-to-volume ratio,they exhibit excellent scalability in synthesis,controllable shape and size,facile surface modification,inertness,stability,and unique optical and magnetic ***,only a limited number of inorganic nanocarriers have been so far approved for clinical applications due to burst drug release,poor target specificity,and *** overcome these barriers,understanding the principles involved in loading therapeutic and imaging molecules into these nanoparticles(NPs)and the strategies employed in enhancing sustainability and targetability of the resultant complexes and ensuring the release of the payloads in extracellular and intracellular compartments of the target site is of paramount ***,we will shed light on various loading mechanisms harnessed for different inorganic NPs,particularly involving physical entrapment into porous/hollow nanostructures,ionic interactions with native and surface-modified NPs,covalent bonding to surface-functionalized nanomaterials,hydrophobic binding,affinity-based interactions,and intercalation through co-precipitation or anion exchange reaction.

Loss of mangroves and consequent habitat fragmentation is a major concern throughout the world’s tropical countries. Conversion of mangrove habitat due to aquaculture, agriculture, urbanization and industrialization, ecotourism, overlapping bureaucracy and conflicting policies is occurring at a striking rate. This paper reviews the trends of mangrove area changes in Bangladesh and compares them with four other countries in tropical regions that have significant mangrove areas. The rate of mangrove loss from the 1980 to 2005 was calculated using the compound interest rate formula for its explicit biological implication. In Bangladesh, the area of mangroves was found to have increased due to its higher accretion rate. In India the rate of mangrove loss had fallen. The rate of mangrove loss in malaysia in the 1990s （-0.008 ha＆#183;a-1） was higher than the 1980s （-0.004 ha＆#183;a-1）. In Indonesia, the rate decreased, from the 1980s （-0.018 ha＆#183;a-1） to the 1990s （-0.010 ha＆#183;a-1）. Finally in myanmar the rate of mangrove loss gradually accelerated. Aquaculture was found to be the common cause of mangrove conversion in the regions. Loss of mangroves is now a prominent global issue, associated with the loss of biodiversity, deterioration of habitat integrity, climatic changes, the amount of carbon sequestration, and resulting sea-level rise. Therefore, a systematic evaluation of these environmental impacts is prerequisite to realize sustainable mangrove management.

A series of Ni0.6-x/2Zn0.4-x/2SnxFe2O4(x = 0.0, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.3)(NZSFO) ferrite composities have been synthesized from nano powders using a standard solid state reaction technique. The spinel cubic structure of the investigated samples has been confirmed by x-ray diffraction(XRD). The magnetic properties such as saturation magnetization(ms),remanent magnetization(mr), coercive field(Hc), and Bohr magneton(μ) are calculated from the hysteresis loops. The value of msis found to decrease with increasing Sn content in the samples. This change is successfully explained by the variation of A-B interaction strength due to Sn substitution in different sites. The compositional stability and quality of the prepared ferrite composites have also been endorsed by the fairly constant initial permeability(μ’) over a wide range of frequency. The decreasing trend of μ’ with increasing Sn content has been observed. Curie temperature TChas been found to increase with the increase in Sn content. A wide spread frequency utility zone indicates that the NZSFO can be considered as a good candidate for use in broadband pulse transformers and wide band read-write heads for video recording. The composition of x = 0.05 shows unusual results and the possible reason is also mentioned with the established formalism.

Skin cancer,a prevalent malignancy worldwide,poses significant health concerns owing to its increasing ***,a natural cellular process,is a pivotal event in skin cancer and has advantageous and detrimental *** duality has prompted extensive investigations into medical interventions targeting autophagy modulation for their substantial therapeutic *** systematic review aimed to investigate the relationship between skin cancer and autophagy and the contribution and mechanism of autophagy modulators in skin *** outlined the effectiveness and safety of targeting autophagy as a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of skin *** comprehensive review identified a diverse array of autophagy modulators with promising potential for the treatment of skin *** of these compounds demonstrates efficacy through distinct physiological mechanisms that have been elucidated in ***,findings from a literature search indicated that none of the natural,synthetic,or semisynthetic compounds exhibited notable adverse effects in either human or animal ***,this review offers novel mechanistic and therapeutic perspectives on the targeted modulation of autophagy in skin cancer.

The wave model SWAN(Simulating WAves Nearshore)is implemented for the Canadian Beaufort Sea and storm generated waves are investigated through comparisons between in situ buoy observations and numerical *** are performed for four storms using the SWAN wave *** specifically use SWAN’s non-stationary and two-dimensional modes in a fine resolution nested domain within a coarse resolution *** established whitecapping formulations in SWAN are examined;one is dependent on mean spectral wave steepness and the other is on local spectral *** simulations in the shallow fine resolution domain also consider the effects of bottom friction and nonlinear triad *** the Beaufort Sea study area,wave simulations in which the white capping formulation is dependent on local spectral steepness are better than those where the dependency is on mean spectral steepness;however implementation of bottom friction term and triad mechanisms in the present study does not lead to any notable enhancement in the simulations.

Cloud point （CP） determinations of 4-（1,1,3,3-tetramethylbutyl）phenyl-polyethylene glycol （TX-100 （nonionic surfactant）） was carried out in aqueous as well as in the attendance of drug （ceftriaxone sodium trihydrate （CFT））/（CFT ＋ different inorganic salts） and discussed thoroughly. Nonionic surfactants are employed exten- sively in different formulations. In aqueous solution, the values of CP of TX-100 are obtained to increase by means of enhancing of their concentration in the solution. The CP values of TX-100 solutions were found to de- crease in the presence of drug and their values decrease more with rising concentrations of the drug. The values of CP of CFT and TX-100 mixtures were found to further decrease in the attendance of inorganic salts in compar- ison to their absence. The effect of different sodium salts in decreasing CP values of TX-100 was achieved in the following order： NaCO3 〉 Na2SO4 〉 NaCl. However, in the case of potassium and ammonium salts, the decreasing order obtained is K2SO4 〉 KCO3 〉 KCI and （NH4）2SO4 〉 Na2CO3 〉 NH4Cl respectively. Various thermodynamic pa- rameters for example standard free energy （△G c）, standard enthalpy （△H c） as well as standard entropy （△S c） changes of phase separation were also evaluated and discussed in detail on the basis of their behavior.

The study aims to incorporate cellulosic canola(Brassica napus L.)biopolymers with wood biomass to increase flexural strength more than wood fraction alone.A facile fabrication process-at ambient temperature-is employed for ease of producing two different sets of bio-composites utilizing unsaturated polyester resin:pristine composite structures of 100%wood and hybrid composite structures of a canola-wood *** curing process is accompanied by methyl ethyl ketone peroxide(mEKP).Besides the lightweight feature,the hybrid composite structures exhibit maximum flexural strength up to 59.6 and 89.58 mPa at 2.5 and 5%fibre polymer fraction,outperforming the pristine wood composites(49.25 mPa).Also,the bending behaviours of the composite structures are illustrated by the load-deflection curves and the associated SEm micrographs display their fractured and debonded surface at the *** novel canola fibre benefits from its inherent hollow architecture,facilitating an excellent strength to weight ratio for the thermoset ***,canola displays a fibre diameter and density of 79.80(±41.31)μm and 1.34(±0.0014)g/cc,contributing effectively towards the flexure performance and high packing *** breaking tenacity(13.31±4.59 g-force/tex)and tensile strength(174.93±60.29)of canola fibres are comparable to other bast *** synergy among fibre diameters,density and break-ing tenacity creates a good interphase to successfully transfer the external compressive load from the resin matrix to the ***,the two-parameter Weibull distribution model is applied for predicting the failure and reliability probability of composite specimens against a wide range of compressive ***,prioritized SWOT factors have been summa-rized associated with the prospects and key challenges of canola biopolymers-an attempt to strategize the planning and decision-making process for a potential business *** introduction of canola into the pla

Herein,the interaction of a protein,bovine serum albumin(BSA),with tetradecyltrimethylammonium bromide(TTAB,a cationic surfactant),has been investigated using the conductivity measurement technique in pure water and some sodium salts(NaCl,Na_(2) SO_(4),Na_(2) CO_(3), and Na_(3) PO_(4)) solutions at temperature range of 295.15-320.15 *** reveal that,in the plot of specific conductivity versus the concentration of TTAB,only a single critical micelle concentration(cmc) was found for the TTAB+BSA mixed system in all solvents media *** addition of BSA in aqueous TTAB solution,the value of cmc undergoes a change from its pure form,which indicates the presence of strong interaction operating between the BSA and TTAB *** aqueous system,the cmc values of the TTAB+BSA mixtures are obtained higher compared to the values found for single TTAB surfactant However,the addition of salt decreases the cmc value of mixed TTAB+BSA *** values of cmc of the BSA+TTAB mixed system at 310.15 K and 1.00 mmol·kg^(-1) ionic strength of salt followed the order:cmc_(Na_(2) CO_(3))> Cmcc_(Na_(3) PO_(4))> cmcNaCl>cmC_(Na_(2) SO_(4)).The cmc values of TTAB+BSA mixture were found to be lowered in urea solution within the concentrations *** values of degree of dissociation(α) and fraction of counter ion binding(β) were found to be dependent on additives and *** free energy of micellization(AGm) is negative for all the systems,which manifests that the micellization phenomenon is energetically *** enhancement of the negative value of △G_(m)^(0) in aqueous salt solutions reveals an increase of spontaneity of the TTAB+BSA micellization *** values of △G_(m)^(0) also reveal that the spontaneity of micelle formation is enhanced at higher temperatures in all media *** values of free energy of transfer(△G_(m,t)^(o)) were also determined for numerous solvent media used in the present study and described with appropriate reasoning.

The frequency dependent dielectric properties of barium magnesium tantalate （BmT）, Ba（mgl/3Ta2/3）03 and barium zinc tantalate （BZT）, Ba（Znl/3Ta2/3）03 synthesized by solid state reaction technique have been investigated at various temperatures by impedance spectroscopy. BmT and BZT possess cubic structure with lattice parameter a = 0.708 and 0.451 nm, respectively. The resonance peaks due to dielectric relaxation processes are observed in the loss tangent of these oxides. The relaxation in the samples is polydispersive in nature. The temperature dependence of dc conductivity, the most probable relaxation frequency （corn） obtained from tanδ vs logo） plots and ωm obtained from imaginary parts of the complex electrical modulus vs Iogω plots follow the Arrhenius behavior. According to these Arrhenius plots the activation energies of BmT and BZT are about 0.54 and 0.40 eV, respectively. Thus the results indicate that samples are semiconducting in nature. The frequency-dependent electrical data are analyzed in the framework of conductivity and electric modulus formalisms. Both these formalisms show qualitative similarities in relaxation time. Our study points that for complex perovskite oxides with general formula A（B＇B＇）03, the dielectric properties significantly depend on the atomic radii of both A and B type cations. BmT and BZT exhibit enhancement in dielectric property compared to their niobate counterparts. They may find several technological applications such as in capacitors, resonators and filters owing to their high dielectric constant and low loss tangent.
