Peirce-Smith copper converting involves complex multiphase flow and *** this work,the flow zone distribution and mixing time in a Peirce-Smith copper converter were investigated in a 1:5 scaled cold *** field distribution,including dead,splashing,and strong-loop zones,were measured,and a dimensionless equation was established to determine the correlation of the effects of stirring and mixing energy with an error of<5%.Four positions in the bath,namely,injection,splashing,strong-loop,and dead zones,were selected to add a hollow salt powder tracer and measure the mixing *** a quartz flux through tuyeres or into the backflow point of the splashing wave through a chute was recommended instead of adding it through a crane hopper from the top of the furnace to improve the slag-making reaction.

A full-cycle numerical simulation of a circulating fluidized bed(CFB)by the use of the computational particle fluid dynamics(CPFD)method has been *** effects of the presence or absence of the secondary air,different secondary air positions,and different secondary air ratios on the gas–solid flow characteristics were *** results show that the presence of the secondary air makes a core-annular structure of the velocity distribution of particles in the fluidized bed,which enhances the uniformity of particles’distribution and the stability of *** position and the ratio of the secondary air have a significant impact on the particle distribution,particle flow rate,and gas flow rate in the fluidized *** the secondary air position and ratio are optimal,the particles,particle flow rate,and air flow rate in the CFB are evenly distributed,the gas–solid flow state is good,and the CFB can operate stably.

Boron is an important industrial raw material often sourced from minerals containing different compounds that cocrystallize,which makes it difficult to separate the mineral phases through conventional *** study proposed a new treatment called flash reduction-melting separation(FRMS)for boron-bearing iron *** this method,the concentrates were first flash-reduced at the temperature under which the particles melt,and the slag and the reduced iron phases disengaged at the particle *** reduc-tion and melting effects were achieved above 1550℃.The B_(2)O_(3) content in the separated slag was over 18wt%,and the B content in the iron was less than 0.03wt%.The proposed FRMS method was tested to investigate the effects of factors such as ore particle size and tem-perature on the reduction and melting steps with and without pre-reducing the raw *** mineral phase transformation and morphology evolution in the ore particles during FRMS were also comprehensively analyzed.

In this work,we firstly synthesized a CeO_(2)/C_(3)N_(4) photocatalyst with Z-scheme heterojunction by a facile LiC-KCI molten salt *** synthesized catalyst has an excellent quality for removing organic pollution of dyes and antibiotics in *** an example,the CeCN-1:5 prepared with a mass ratio of Ce_(2)(CO_(3))_(3)·xH_(2)O:C_(3)H_(3)N_(6)=1:5 exhibits a methylene blue(MB)removal capacity of 100%within 90 min and tetracycline(TC)removal capacity of 94.6%.After 4 cycles,the CeCN-1:5 keeps a removal efficiency of nearly 100%in 150 min for MB and 85.7%for *** kinetics study reveals that the MB removal process with the CeCN-1:5 fits the modified Elovich model with strong adsorption while TC removal fits the first-order *** large surface area(238 m^(2)/g)and negative zeta potential(-39.3 mV)of CeCN-1:5 contribute to superior adsorption capacity to ***,the adsorption of TC is restricted due to the positive surface/pore potential in acidic ***-1:5has combined Z-scheme heterojunction and exhibits a low recombination rate of electrons(e^(-))/holes(h^(+))and the photo-generated active radicals of·OH/·O_(2)^(-)that promotes the photocatalytic *** novel CeO_(2)/C_(3)N_(4) photocatalyst with an excellent photocatalysis removal activity has an enormous potential for photocatalytic applications.

CeCO_(3)OH has a unique crystal structure and excellent optical,electronic and catalytic properties,which has been widely investigated for many ***,ceria obtained from CeCO_(3)OH has a morphology that is similar to that of the precursor,and the CeO_(2)-based products obtained from CeCO_(3)OH exhibit outstanding properties,such as catalytic performances,owing to their designed morphology and oxygen vacancies(OVs).To introduce CeCO_(3)OH into a wider range of potential researchers,we first systematically review the physico-chemical properties,synthesis,reaction and morphology tuning mechanism of CeCO_(3)OH,and summarize the conversion behavior from CeCO_(3)OH to ***,we thoroughly survey the applications of CeCO_(3)OH and its conversion *** for further investigations of CeCO_(3)OH are also made in this *** is hoped that the exhaustive co mpilation of the valuable properties and considerable potential investigations of CeCO_(3)OH will promote further applications of CeCO_(3)OH and CeO_(2)-based functional materials.

This study primarily investigates the rock fracture mechanism of bottom cushion layer blasting and explores the effects of the bottom cushion layer on rock *** involves analyses of the evolution patterns of blasting stress,characteristics of crack distribution,and rock fracture features in the ***,blasting model experiments were carried out using the dynamic caustics principle to investigate the influence of bottom cushion layers and initiation methods on the integrity of the bottom rock *** experimental results indicate that the combined use of bottom cushion layers and inverse initiation effectively protects the integrity of the bottom rock ***,the process of stress wave propagation and dynamic crack propagation in rocks was simulated using the continuum-discontinuum element method(CDEM)and the Landau explosion source model,with varying thicknesses of bottom cushion *** numerical simulation results indicate that with increasing cushion thickness,the absorption of energy generated by the explosion becomes more pronounced,resulting in fewer cracks in the bottom rock *** illustrates the positive role of the cushion layer in protecting the integrity of the bottom rock mass.

Hydrogel scaffolds have numerous potential applications in the tissue engineering ***,tough hydrogel scaffolds implanted in vivo are seldom reported because it is difficult to balance biocompatibility and high mechanical *** by Chinese ramen,we propose a universal fabricating method(printing-P,training-T,cross-linking-C,PTC&PCT)for tough hydrogel scaffolds to fill this ***,3D printing fabricates a hydrogel scaffold with desired structures(P).Then,the scaffold could have extraordinarily high mechanical properties and functional surface structure by cycle mechanical training with salting-out assistance(T).Finally,the training results are fixed by photo-cross-linking processing(C).The tough gelatin hydrogel scaffolds exhibit excellent tensile strength of 6.66 MPa(622-fold untreated)and have excellent ***,this scaffold possesses functional surface structures from nanometer to micron to millimeter,which can efficiently induce directional cell ***,this strategy can produce bionic human tissue with mechanical properties of 10 kPa-10 MPa by changing the type of salt,and many hydrogels,such as gelatin and silk,could be improved with PTC or PCT *** experiments show that this scaffold can effectively promote the new generation of muscle fibers,blood vessels,and nerves within 4 weeks,prompting the rapid regeneration of large-volume muscle loss injuries.

With the development of quantum computing technology, quantum public-key cryptography is gradually becoming an alternative to the existing classical public-key cryptography. This paper designs a quantum trapdoor one-way function via EPR pairs and quantum measurements. Based on this, a new quantum public-key cryptosystem is presented, which offers forward security,and can resist the chosen-plaintext attack and chosen-ciphertext attack. Compared with the existing quantum public-key cryptos,eavesdropping can be automatically detected in this new quantum public-key cryptosystem under a necessary condition, which is also detailed in the paper.

Background:Insomnia is a prevalent clinical condition and Shangxia Liangji formula(SXLJF)is a well-established method of ***,the specific mechanism of action of SXLJF remains ***:The mouse model of insomnia was established by intraperitoneal injection of ***-two mice were randomly divided into a negative control group,model group,SXLJF group(18.72 g/kg/day),and positive control group(diazepam,2 mg/kg)and treated with the corresponding drugs for 7 consecutive *** open field test and pentobarbital-induced sleeping test were ***-MS-based untargeted metabolomics and network pharmacology were applied to explore the potential targets of SXLJF for treating ***,key targets were validated using ***:Behavioral tests demonstrated that SXLJF reduced the total distance,average velocity,central distance,and sleep latency,and prolonged sleep *** and network pharmacology revealed potential targets,signaling pathways,metabolic pathways,and metabolites associated with the anti-insomnia effects of ***,tyrosine hydroxylase(TH)and tyrosine metabolism emerged as crucial metabolic pathways and targets,***-qPCR results supported the role of TH in the mechanism of SXLJF in treating ***:In conclusion,TH and tyrosine metabolism may represent significant targets and pathways for SXLJF in treating insomnia.
