Relationship between postoperative rehabilitation style, gastrointestinal function, and inflammatory factor levels in children with intussusception

BACKGROUND Intussusception occurs in children and progresses *** not treated in time,it may lead to secondary complications such as intestinal perforation,which affect the quality of life and health of *** is the most common clinical treatment and has a good ***,the postoperative prognosis of children with intussusception has a correlation with the postoperative rehabilitation ***,in this study,we explored the relationship between postopera-tive rehabilitation,gastrointestinal function,and the expression of inflammatory factors in children with *** medical records of 18 children who were admitted to our hospital for intussusception surgery between October 2022 and May 2024 were retrospectively *** patients were divided into the routine nursing group(n=6)and rehabilitation training group(n=12)according to the postoperative rehabilitation *** general data,gastrointestinal function,and inflammatory factor levels of the two groups were statistically *** correlation analysis of gastrointestinal function,inflammatory factors,and postoperative rehabil-itation was *** We found no significant intergroup differences in sex,age,or disease course(P>0.05).The times to first defecation,bowel sound recovery,and anal exhaust were shorter and inflammatory factor levels were lower in the rehabilitation training group than in the routine nursing group(Plation analysis showed that gastrin and motilin levels were positively correlated with postoperative rehabilitation(Pleukin(Il)-2,Il-4,Il-6,Il-10,high-sensitivity C-reactive protein,and tumor necrosis factor-αlevels were negatively correlated with postoperative rehabilitation(Pl function was positively correlated(Plevels of inflammatory factors were negatively correlated with postoperative recovery time(PlUSION We found a positive correlation between gastrointe

TiO_(2)-supported V_(2)O_(5)catalysts are commonly used in NO_(x)reduction with ammonia due to their robust catalytic *** these catalysts,it is generally considered that the active species are mainly derived from the vanadia species rather than the intrinsic structure of V-O-Ti entities,namely the interface *** reveal the role of V-O-Ti entities in NH_(3)-SCR,herein,we prepared TiO_(2)/V_(2)O_(5)catalysts and demonstrated that V-O-Ti entities were more active for NO_(x)reduction under wet conditions than the V sites(V=O)working *** the V-O-Ti entities,kinetic measurements and first principles calculations revealed that NH_(3)activation exhibited a much lower energy barrier than that on V=O *** wet conditions,the V-O-Ti interface significantly inhibited the transformation of V=O to V-OH sites thus benefiting NH_(3)*** wet conditions,meanwhile,the migration of NH_(4)^(+)from Ti site neighboring the V-O-Ti interface to Ti site of the V-O-Ti interface was exothermic;thus,V-O-Ti entities together with neighboring Ti sites could serve as channels linking NH_(3)pool and active centers for activation of NH_(4)^(+).This finding reveals that the V-O-Ti interface sites on V-based catalysts play a crucial role in NO_(x)removal under realistic conditions,providing a new perspective on NH_(3)-SCR mechanism.

Objectives:Sciadopitysin(SP)is aﬂavonoid in Ginkgo biloba that exhibits various pharmacological *** study aimed to investigate its antitumor effects and the underlying molecular mechanism of SP in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)***:Network pharmacology was used for target prediction *** Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)assay was used to test the cell *** cytometry was used to test the cell cycle distribution,apoptosis status,and reactive oxygen species(ROS)*** and wound-healing assay was used to test the migration effect of SP on HepG2 *** Blot assay was used to test the expression levels of ***:Network pharmacology analysis results showed that the mitogen-activated protein kinase(MAPK)and other signaling pathways are involved in the SP anti-HCC biological ***-8 assay results demonstrated that SP showed an obvious killing effect on three types of HCC cells and low cytotoxic effect on normal *** Blot andﬂow cytometry results showed that SP regulated MAPK/signal transducer and activator of transcription 3(STAT3)/nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB)signaling pathway to induce mitochondrion-dependent apoptosis in HepG2 ***,SP can arrest the G0/G1 phase cell cycle via the protein kinase B(AKT)/p21/p27/cyclin-dependent kinase(CDK)/Cyclin signaling *** healing and transwell assays showed that SP inhibited cell motility and invasion through the AKT/glycogen synthase kinase3β(GSK-3β)/vimentin/β-catenin signaling ***:Theseﬁndings demonstrated that SP induced mitochondrion-dependent apoptosis,arrested cell cycle in the G0/G1 phase,and inhibited cell migration by regulating the ROS-mediated signaling pathway in HepG2 ***,SP could serve as a therapeutic agent for the treatment of human HCC.

Thermal safety boundary of lithium-ion battery at different state of charge

Thermal runaway(TR)is a critical issue hindering the large-scale application of lithium-ion batteries(lIBs).Understanding the thermal safety behavior of lIBs at the cell and module level under different state of charges(SOCs)has significant implications for reinforcing the thermal safety design of the lithium-ion battery *** study first investigates the thermal safety boundary(TSB)correspondence at the cells and modules level under the guidance of a newly proposed concept,safe electric quantity boundary(SEQB).A reasonable thermal runaway propagation(TRP)judgment indicator,peak heat transfer power(PHTP),is proposed to predict whether TRP ***,a validated 3D model is used to quantitatively clarify the TSB at different SOCs from the perspective of PHTP,TR trigger temperature,SOC,and the full cycle ***,three different TRP transfer modes are *** interconversion relationship of three different TRP modes is investigated from the perspective of *** paper explores the TSB of lIBs under different SOCs at both cell and module levels for the first time,which has great significance in guiding the thermal safety design of battery systems.

The safety and efficacy of COVID-19 vaccines in the elderly,a high-risk group for severe COVID-19 infection,have not been fully *** clarify these issues,this prospective study followed up 157 elderly and 73 young participants for 16 months and compared the safety,immunogenicity,and efficacy of two doses of the inactivated vaccine BBIBP-CorV followed by a booster dose of the recombinant protein vaccine *** results showed that this vaccination protocol was safe and tolerable in the *** administering two doses of the BBIBP-CorV,the positivity rates and titers of neutralizing and anti-RBD antibodies in the elderly were significantly lower than those in the young *** the ZF2001 booster dose,the antibody-positive rates in the elderly were comparable to those in the young;however,the antibody titers remained ***,age,and underlying diseases were independently associated with vaccine immunogenicity in elderly *** pseudovirus neutralization assay showed that,compared with those after receiving two doses of BBIBP-CorV priming,some participants obtained immunological protection against BA.5 and BF.7 after receiving the ZF2001 *** infection symptoms last longer in the infected elderly and pre-infection antibody titers were negatively associated with the severity of post-infection *** antibody levels in the elderly increased significantly after breakthrough infection but were still lower than those in the *** data suggest that multiple booster vaccinations at short intervals to maintain high antibody levels may be an effective strategy for protecting the elderly against COVID-19.

Strong-coupling superconductivity with Tc above 70 K in Be-decorated monolayer T-graphene

Using first-principles calculations,we predict a new type of two-dimensional(2D)beryllium(Be)-decorated T-graphene named BeC_(2),where Be atoms are inserted into C–C bonds linking the carbon tetrarings of *** band structure shows that BeC_(2)is metallic,thus,the possible phonon-mediated superconductivity is explored based on the Eliashberg *** calculated electron-phonon coupling(EPC)constantλis up to 4.07,and the corresponding superconducting critical temperature(Tc)is 72.1 K,approaching the liquid nitrogen *** reason for the high Tc is the strong *** it is proved to be an anisotropic single-gap superconductor by analyzing the superconducting gap?kof BeC_(2).The electronic susceptibility calculation shows strong nesting effect in BeC_(2).Since rare 2D superconductors show such a strong EPC constantλwhich originates from the coupling between electrons in C-pzorbital and in-plane vibrations of Be and C atoms,the predicted BeC_(2)provides a new platform for investigating strong EPC 2D superconductor.
