Modulated plasma arc not only can heat the powder, but also can excite ultrasonic of different frequencies and different powers. The principles and characters of the plasma arc-excited ultrasonic were described, and the ultrasonic plasma spraying was compared with normal plasma spraying. Zirconia thermal barrier coatings (TBCs) were fabricated with two kinds of method. The TBCs were studied by the optical microscope observation, SEM observation and bonding strength experiment. The results show that suitable ultrasonic changes the performance and microstructure of TBCs in evidence. And the mechanism of ultrasonic influencing the TBCs was also discussed.

The healing behavior of micropores in powder metallurgy （P/M） 316L stainless steel during hot forging and subsequent heat treatment was studied. The results showed that hot forging can improve the homogeneity of the pore size and enhance the relative density of material in varying degree due to different forging temperatures. As a re- sult of deformation and diffusion bonding at high temperature, the irregular pores were spheroidized and finally turned into stable inner grain pores. The comparison of compression behavior between P/M and wrought dense mate rials has shown that the pores can either be the obstacles of dislocation movement or be the nucleation sites accelera- ting the reerystallization according to the difference of deformation temperatures.

Background The increased use of all-ceramic crown provides a rationale for tooth-colored core. Due to superior mechanical properties, Vita Celay infiltration ceramic developed for crown and bridge works presents the potential for fabricating all-ceramic posts and cores in one piece. This study was conducted to compare the fracture strength of endodontically treated teeth which were thereafter given different types of posts and cores and crowns restoration, respectively. The evaluated post-and-core systems are： custom-fabricated Celay all-ceramic post-core, custom cast metal post-core, and prefabricated stainless steel post （Parapost） with and without 2.0 mm dentine ferrule. Methods Sixty freshly extracted human maxillary central incisors were endodontically treated and randomly divided into five groups with 12 samples each. Group A： Celay ceramic post-cores restored teeth with 2.0 mm dentine ferrule. Group B： Celay ceramic post-cores restored teeth with no dentine ferrule. Group C： cast metal post-cores restored teeth with 2.0 mm dentine ferrule. Group D： cast metal post-cores restored teeth with no dentine ferrule. Group E： prefabricated post and composite cores restored teeth with 2.0 mm dentine ferrule. All teeth were restored with Celay ceramic crowns. Each specimen was subjected to a load at a 45-degree angle to the long axis on MTS 810 material testing machine until failure, at crosshead speed of 0.02 cm/minute. Analysis of variance followed by the Newman-Keuls pairwise multiple comparison tests were used to compare the results of the groups tested. Results There was a statistically significant difference among the five groups （P〈0.01）. Celay ceramic post-cores restored teeth with 2.0 mm dentine ferrule [（758.35± 119.26） N] and cast metal post-cores restored teeth with 2.0 mm dentine ferrule [（756.63± 166.22） N] had a significantly greater mean fracture strength than the other three groups in which no significant difference was observed. AIM To compare the clinical outcomes of patients with portal hypertension(PH) who underwent treatment with splenectomy plus simplified pericardial devascularisation(SSPD) or splenectomy plus traditional pericardial devascularisation(STPD).METHODS We conducted a single-centre retrospective study of 1045 PH patients treated with either SSPD(S Group, 357 patients) or STPD(T Group, 688 patients) between January 2002 and February 2017. In all, 37 clinical indicators were compared to evaluate the efficacy of *** Perioperative indicators in the S Group were significantly better than those in the T Group(P luSION Compared to STPD, SSPD is a simple and easy procedure resulting in less tissue damage. Patients recovered smoothly and steadily with fewer complications. Short-term liver and kidney function damage was less severe, and long-term liver function recovery was better. Therefore, SSPD is worthy of clinical promotion and application for the treatment of PH.

AIM To analyse the postoperative survival of patients with portal hypertension and determine the factors that influence survival and construct *** We retrospectively followed 1045 patients who underwent splenectomy plus pericardial devascularisation(SPD) between January 2002 and December 2017. Two SPD types are used in our department: splenectomy plus simplified pericardial devascularisation(SSPD) and splenectomy plus traditional pericardial devascularisation(STPD). The Kaplan-Meier method and Cox regression analysis were used to evaluate the prognostic effects of multiple parameters on overall survival(OS), diseasespecific survival(DSS) and bleeding-free survival(BFS). Significant prognostic factors were combined to build nomograms to predict the survival rate of individual *** Five hundred and fifty-seven(53.30%) patients weresuccessfully followed with 192 in the SSPD group and 365 in the STPD group; 93(16.70%) patients died, of whom 42(7.54%) died due to bleeding. Postoperative bleeding was observed in 84(15.10%) patients. The 5-and 10-year OS, DSS and BFS rates in the group of patients who underwent SSPD were not significantly different from those in patients who underwent STPD. Independent prognostic factors for OS were age, operative time, alanine transaminase level and albumin-bilirubin score. Independent prognostic factors for BFS were male sex, age, intraoperative blood loss and time to first flatus. Independent prognostic factors for DSS were the Comprehensive Complication Index and age. These characteristics were used to establish nomograms, which showed good accuracy in predicting 1-, 3-and 5-year OS and *** SSPD achieves or surpasses the long-term survival effect of traditional pericardial devascularisation and is worthy of clinical promotion and application. Nomograms are effective at predicting prognosis.

A new anthraquinone glycoside 1, along with a known anthraquinone glycoside aurantio-obmsin-6-O-β-D-glucopyranoside 2, were isolated from the seeds of Cassia obtusifolia. On the basis of spectral and chemical evidences, the structure of 1 was established as 1-demethylaurantio-obtusin-2-O-β-D-glucopyranoside. Moreover, the 13C NMR of 2 was assigned totally and correctly for the first time based on the two-dimensional NMR.

Feline calicivirus(FCV)was a highly prevalent RNA virus causing upper respiratory tract infections in cats through the mouth and nose around the world,result in the death of cats especially under 1 year old with upper respiratory tract disease(URTD)and virulent systemic disease(FCV-VSD)[1].Infected cats usually presented with mouth ulcers,salivation and ***,both recovered cats and asymptomatic carriers can still carry and spread the FCV virus for extended periods of time,contributing to the potential for *** presented a significant threat to the health and lives of cats,and rare wildlife and took a heavy financial loss on the pet industry,making the prevention and control of the virus ***,rapid identification of FCV in clinical samples was necessary to prevent the spread of FCV and avoid financial loss.

To further study the characteristics of changes on the molecular level of rice mutants induced in space environment, we analyzed proteins in leaves and seeds of four rice mutants （two high-tillering and two low-tillering） in the 8th and 9th generations after a 15-day spaceflight, and compared with their ground controls by two-dimentional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and reverse phase liquid chromatography （RPLC）. In addition, the albumin, globulin, prolamine, glutelin, and amylose of the mutant seeds were analyzed by RPLC and ultra-violet spectrometry. The results showed that the low-abundance proteins of leaves in the peak tillering stage are more likely to he induced compared with their corresponding controls. The albumin, globulin, and prolamine of the mutant seeds revealed changes when compared with their controls, and the characteristics of changes in different mu- tants were stably inherited in the 8th and 9th generations, suggesting that they can be used as biomarkers to identity the mutants induced by spaceflight. Moreover, two proteins （SSP9111 and SSP6302） were found to be expressed with high intensity （two-fold change） in different mutants, which were both correlated with photosystem according to mass spectrometry and database searching.
