Co_(3)O_(4)as an efficient passive NO_(x) adsorber for emission control during cold-start of diesel engines

The Co_(3)O_(4)nanoparticles,dominated by a catalytically active(110)lattice plane,were synthesized as a low-temperature NO_(x) adsorbent to control the cold start emissions from *** nanoparticles boast a substantial quantity of active chemisorbed oxygen and lattice oxygen,which exhibited a NO_(x) uptake capacity commensurate with Pd/SSZ-13 at 100℃.The primary NO_(x) release temperature falls within a temperature range of 200-350℃,making it perfectly suitable for diesel *** characterization results demonstrate that chemisorbed oxygen facilitate nitro/nitrites intermediates formation,contributing to the NO_(x) storage at 100℃,while the nitrites begin to decompose within the 150-200℃***,lattice oxygen likely becomes involved in the activation of nitrites into more stable nitrate within this particular temperature *** concurrent processes of nitrites decomposition and its conversion to nitrates results in a minimal NO_(x) release between the temperatures of 150-200℃.The nitrate formed via lattice oxygen mainly induces the NO_(x) to be released as NO_(2) within a temperature range of 200-350℃,which is advantageous in enhancing the NO_(x) activity of downstream NH_(3)-SCR catalysts,by boosting the fast SCR reaction *** to its low cost,considerable NO_(x) absorption capacity,and optimal release temperature,Co_(3)O_(4)demonstrates potential as an effective material for passive NO_(x) adsorber applications.

The glymphatic system is a relatively recently identified fluid exchange and transpo rt system in the *** evidence indicates thatglymphatic function is impaired not only in central nervous system disorders but also in systemic *** diseases can trigger the inflammatory responses in the central nervous system,occasionally leading to sustained inflammation and functional disturbance of the central nervous *** review summarizes the current knowledge on the association between glymphatic dysfunction and central nervous system *** addition,we discuss the hypothesis that disease conditions initially associated with peripheral inflammation ove rwhelm the performance of the glymphatic system,thereby triggering central nervous system dysfun ction,chronic neuroinflammation,and *** research investigating the role of the glymphatic system in neuroinflammation may offer innovative therapeutic approaches for central nervous system disorders.

INTRODUCTION Surface waves propagating along the seafloor are general ly called Scholte waves,and were first discovered and studied in the early 1950s(Kugler et al.,2005;Buchen and Ben-Hador,1996).Scholte waves exhibit a dispersion phenomenon,which implies that their velocity varies with ***-frequency Scholte waves can propagate over long distances on the seabed with little attenuation(Bohlen et al.,2004).The particle mo tion of Scholte waves in a solid medium changes from a retro grade to a prograde ellipse(Klein et al.,2005;McMechan and Yedlin,1981).

The therapeutic potential of Annexin A1,an important member of the Annexin superfamily,has become evident in results of experiments with multiple human systems and animal *** anti-inflammatory and pro-resolving effects of Annexin A1 are characteristic of pathologies involving the nervous *** this review,we initially describe the expression sites of Annexin A1,then outline the mechanisms by which Annexin A1 maintains the neurological homeostasis through either formyl peptide receptor 2 or other molecular approaches;and,finally,we discuss the neuroregenerative potential qualities of Annexin *** eye and the nervous system are anatomically and functionally connected,but the association between visual system pathogenesis,especially in the retina,and Annexin A1 alterations has not been well ***,we explain the beneficial effects of Annexin A1 for ocular diseases,especially for retinal diseases and glaucoma on the basis of published findings,and we explore present and future delivery strategies for Annexin A1 to the retina.

The key role of oxide inclusions on the microstructure and mechanical property of a high-strength low-alloy steel was *** field emission scanning electron microscope equipped with energy-dispersive spectrometry was used to characterize MnS *** inclusions play an important role in the shape control of MnS *** oxides fovored to decrease the size and the aspect ratio of MnS *** less oxide inclusions in the steel,approximately over 16.7%MnS precipitates were with aspect ratio a>5 and pure MnS precipitates accounted for 75.9%in ***,with more oxide inclusions in the steel,only 7.4%MnS precipitates were with a>5 and pure MnS precipitates accounted for 60.1%in *** of MnS by oxide inclusions improved the strength and inhibited the *** oxide inclusions in the steel increased the yield strength and tensile strength of the steel in both longitudinal and transverse directions,and lowered the anisotropy of the mechanical property.

In the realm of computer vision, these models havebeen employed for intricate tasks including object recognition, image generation, and image processing, leveragingtheir advanced capabilities to fuel transformative breakthroughs. Within the gaming industry, they have foundutility in crafting virtual characters and generating plots and dialogues, thereby enabling immersive and interactiveplayer experiences. Furthermore, these models have been harnessed in the realm of medical diagnosis, providinginvaluable insights and support to healthcare professionals in the realmof disease detection. The principal objectiveof this paper is to offer a comprehensive overview of OpenAI, OpenAI Gym, ChatGPT, DALL E, stable diffusion,the pre-trained clip model, and other pertinent models in various domains, encompassing CLIP Text-to-Image,education, medical imaging, computer vision, social influence, natural language processing, software development,coding assistance, and Chatbot, among others. In this paper,we explore a distributed collaborative caching and computing model to support the distribution of adaptive bit rate video *** aim is to reduce the average initial buffer delay and improve the quality of user *** the difference between global and local video popularities and the time-varying characteristics of video popularity,a two-stage caching scheme is proposed to push popular videos closer to users and minimize the average initial buffer *** on both long-term content popularity and short-term content popularity,the proposed caching solution is decouple into the proactive cache stage and the cache update *** the proactive cache stage,we develop a proactive cache placement algorithm that can be executed in an off-peak *** the cache update stage,we propose a reactive cache update algorithm to update the existing cache policy to minimize the buffer *** results verify that the proposed caching algorithms can reduce the initial buffer delay efficiently.

In situ measurement of multiple pollutants coexisting in sediment porewater is an essential step in comprehensively assessing the bioavailability and risk of pollutants,but to date,this needs to be better *** this study,a passive sampler,consisting of an“I-shaped”supporting frame and inorganic/organic sampling units,incorporating equilibrium dialysis theory and kinetic/equilibrium sorption principle,was developed for the synchronous measurement of inorganic(e.g.,phosphorus and metal(loid)s)and organic pollutants(e.g.,parent and substituted PAHs).The equilibrium time and sampling rates were explored in laboratory tests to support in situ *** of pollutants in porewater within a vertical resolution of centimeters,i.e.,1 cm and 2 cm for inorganic and organic pollutants,respectively,were obtained by field deployment of the sampler for further estimation of diffusive fluxes across the sediment-water *** results suggested that the role of sediments for a specific pollutant may change(e.g.,from“sink”to“source”)during the sampling *** study demonstrated the feasibility of synchronous measurement of inorganic and organic pollutants in sediment porewater by the passive *** addition,it provided new insight for further investigation into the combined pollution effects of various pollutants in sediments.
