Upregulation of caveolin-1 and SR-B1 in mice with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

BACKGROUND Collision carcinoma is rare in clinical practice, especially in the head and neck region. In this paper, we report a case of squamous cell carcinoma(SCC) and neuroendocrine carcinoma(NEC) colliding in the larynx and review 12 cases of collision carcinoma in the head and neck to further understand collision carcinoma, including its definition, diagnosis, and *** SUMMARY A 61-year-old man presented with a 1-year history of hoarseness. Contrastenhanced magnetic resonance imaging of the larynx revealed that the right vocal cord had a nodule-like thickening with obvious enhancement. Laryngoscopy revealed a neoplasm on the right vocal cord, and a malignant tumor was initially considered. A frozen section of right vocal cord was performed under general anesthesia. The pathological result showed a malignant tumor in the right vocal cord. The tumor was excised with a CO_2 laser(Vc type). Routine postoperative pathology showed moderately differentiated SCC with small cell NEC in the right vocal cord. No metastatic lymph nodes or distant metastases were found on postoperative positron emission tomography/computed tomography. Because of the coexistence of SCC and NEC, the patient received adjuvant chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The InSight(Interior Exploration using Seismic Investigations,Geodesy,and Heat Transport)mission has recorded continuous ambient noise signals with many spectral peaks since its landing in *** majority of these peaks are modes produced by instrumental vibrations and are associated with environmental factors,such as temperature and wind energy *** how these modes react under various conditions is crucial because it aids in identifying their *** this study,we analyzed the three-component spectra of InSight recordings from sols 184–738 and obtained the horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio(HVSR,also known as H/V)curves for different time *** primary modes,such as those at 3.3 and 4.1 Hz,exhibited different behaviors,suggesting diverse *** modes were sensitive to low temperature and some were sensitive to high ***,we investigated the influence of wind and temperature on the H/V *** peak frequency was mainly affected by temperature,whereas the H/V value was not associated with the temperature or wind *** these modes and elucidating their origins are significant for processing signals from InSight and can provide valuable guidance for designing future planetary seismometers.

Co-pyrolysis of Sewage Sludge with Paint Sludge: Kinetics and Thermodynamic Analysis via Iso-conversional Methods

This study explored the synergistic interaction of sewage sludge(SS)and automotive paint sludge(PS)during co-pyrolysis for the optimized treatment of sewage sludge in cement kiln systems,utilizing thermogravimetric analysis(TGA)and thermogravimetric-mass spectrometry(TGA-MS).The result reveals the coexisting synergistic and antagonistic effects in the co-pyrolysis of SS/*** synergistic effect arises from hydrogen free radicals in SS and catalytic components in PS,while the main source of the antagonistic effect is that,during the mechanical mixing process,the SS/PS is converted from the particulate form into a dough-like rubbery which contributes to the film-forming effect,hindering the volatilization of volatile ***/PS co-pyrolysis reduces the yielding of tar production while increasing coke and *** study will provide some in-depth insights into the co-pyrolysis of SS/PS,and offer theoretical support for the subsequent research on the collaborative disposal processes in cement kilns.

Impact of frailty on short-term postoperative outcomes in patients undergoing colorectal cancer surgery:A systematic review and meta-analysis

Transfer of disulfide bond formation modules via yeast artificial chromosomes promotes the expression of heterologous proteins in Kluyveromyces marxianus

Restoring cosmological concordance with axion-like early dark energy and dark matter characterized by a constant equation of state?

The Hubble tension persists as a challenge in *** early dark energy(EDE)models,initially considered the most promising for alleviating the Hubble tension,fall short of addressing the issue without exacerbating other tensions,such as the S_(8)*** that a negative dark matter(DM)equation of state(EoS)parameter is conducive to reduce the value of the σ_(8)parameter,we extend the axion-like EDE model in this paper by replacing the cold dark matter(CDM)with DM characterized by a constant EoS w_(dm)(referred to as WDM hereafter).We then impose constraints on this axion-like EDE extension model,along with three other models:the axion-like EDE model,ΛWDM,and Λ*** constraints are derived from a comprehensive analysis incorporating data from the Planck 2018 cosmic microwave background,baryon acoustic oscillations,and the Pantheon compilation,as well as a prior on H_(0)(i.e.H_(0)=73.04±1.04,based on the latest local measurement by Riess et al)and a Gaussianized prior on S_(8)(i.e.S_(8)=0.766±0.017,determined through the joint analysis of KID1000+BOSS+2dLenS).We find that although the new model maintains the ability to alleviate the Hubble tension to~1.4σ,it still exacerbates the S_(8)tension to a level similar to that of the axion-like EDE model.

Low-permittivity LiLn(PO_(3))_(4)(Ln=La,Sm,Eu)dielectric ceramics for microwave/millimeter-wave communication

The development of dielectric materials with low permittivity and low loss is a great challenge in wireless *** this study,LiLn(PO_(3))_(4)(Ln=La,Sm,Eu)ceramic systems were successfully prepared using the traditional solid-state method.X-ray diffraction analysis indicated that the LiLn(PO_(3))_(4)ceramics crystallized in a monoclinic structure when sintered at 850–940℃.The characteristic peak shifted to higher angles with variations in the Ln element,which was ascribed to a reduction in the cell *** analysis by structure refinement revealed that the reduction in the cell volume resulted from the decrease in chemical bond lengths and the compression of[LiO_(4)]and[PO_(4)]***,the LiLn(PO_(3))_(4)ceramic system displayed exceptional performance at low sintering temperatures(910–925℃),including a high quality factor(Q·f)of 41,607–75,968 GHz,low temperature coefficient of resonant frequency(τ_(f))ranging from−19.64 to−47.49 ppm/℃,low permittivity(ε_(r))between 5.04 and 5.26,and low density(3.04–3.26 g/cm^(3)).The application of Phillips–van Vechten–Levine(P–V–L)theory revealed that the increased Q·f value of the LiLn(PO_(3))_(4)systems can be attributed to the enhanced packing fraction,bond covalency,and lattice energy,and the stability of τ_(f) was associated with the increase in the bond ***,a prototype microstrip patch antenna using LiEu(PO_(3))_(4) ceramics was *** measurement results demonstrated excellent antenna performance with a bandwidth of 360 MHz and a peak gain of 5.11 dB at a central frequency of 5.08 ***,low-εr LiLn(PO_(3))_(4)ceramic systems are promising candidates for microwave/millimeter-wave communication.
