AIM:To define the predictive factors of severe retinopathy of prematurity(ROP)and develop a nomogram for predicting severe ROP in southeast ***:Totally 554 infants diagnosed with ROP hospitalized in the Second Affiliated Hospital and Yuying Children’s Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University and hospitalized in Taizhou Women and Children’s Hospital were *** data and 43 candidate predictive factors of ROP infants were collected *** regression model was used to identify predictive factors of severe ROP and to propose a nomogram for individual risk prediction,which was compared with WINROP model and Digirop-Birth ***:Infants from the Second Affiliated Hospital and Yuying Children’s Hospital of Wenzhou Medical University(n=478)were randomly allocated into training(n=402)and internal validation group(n=76).Infants from Taizhou Women and Children’s Hospital were set as external validation group(n=76).Severe ROP were found in 52 of 402 infants,12 of 76 infants,and 7 of 76 infants in training group,internal validation group,and external validation group,*** weight[odds ratio(OR),0.997;95%confidence interval(CI),0.996-0.999;Phe prediction of severe ROP,by univariate analysis and multivariate *** predicting severe ROP based on the internal validation group,the areas under receiver operating characteristic curve(AUC)was 78.1(95%CI,64.2-92.0)for the nomogram,32.9(95%CI,15.3-50.5)for WINROP model,70.2(95%CI,55.8-84.6)for Digirop-Birth *** external validation group,AUC of the nomogram was also higher than that of WINROP model and Digirop-Birth model(80.2 versus 51.1 and 63.4).The decision curve analysis of the nomogram demonstrated better clinical efficacy than that of WINROP model and Digirop-Birth *** calibration curves demonst

Synthesis,characterization and herbicidal activity of new thiazoline derivatives

A series of new thiazoline derivatives 2-alkyl（aryl） imino-4-amino-5-ethoxycarbonyl-3-phenyl-3H- thiazoline （3） and bis（2-imino-4-amino-5-ethoxycarbonyl-3-phenyl-3H-thiazoline alkylene （4） have been synthesized by reactions of intermediate 4-amino-5-ethoxycarbonyl-2-methylthio-3-phenyl-3H- thiazolinium sulphate （2） with alkylamines or arylamine in 64%-89% yields. The structures of 3 and 4 have been confirmed by 1H NMR, El-MS, IR spectroscopy and elemental analyses. Some compounds exhibited high or moderate herbicidal activities against the roots of rapeseed and barnyard grass at 100 mg/L.

The hot environment and the metabolic heat of commuting in summer caused individual overheating and intense thermal *** cooling presents huge potential for optimizing thermal *** study investigates the performance of a back cooling device,based on the semiconductor Peltier effect,in improving thermal comfort after summer *** studied one case without cooling,and three cases with surface temperatures of the cooling device of 29,27,and 25℃using a simulated summer commute at a moderate activity *** results showed that thermal sensation,perceived sweating rate,and skin temperature decreased markedly in the cooling cases compared to the non-cooling case,with the changes being most notable in the lower back,in contact with the cooling *** decrease in overall thermal sensation and mean skin temperature was approximately 0.52 score and 0.31℃on average,respectively,with a 1.71 score increase in overall thermal *** contend that the surface temperature of local contact cooling devices should not be lower than 22℃to minimize local *** cooling devices present a huge potential for building energy-savings at ambient air temperature exceeding 30℃.Moreover,the functional paradigms for individual comfort predict improved comfort performance in future *** study contributes to the understanding on the well-being and physiological recovery of individuals after a summer commuting.

Experimental research on the launching system of auxiliary charge with filter cartridge structure

A launching system with a filter cartridge structure was proposed to improve the muzzle velocity of the *** combustion chamber of the launching system is divided into two fixed chambers,one is located in the breech chamber,and the other is arranged in the *** breech chamber charge was ignited first,and the charges in the auxiliary chambers were ignited by the high-temperature,highpressure combustible gas trailing the *** this way,the combustible gas in the auxiliary chambers could compensate for the pressure drop caused by the movement of the *** proposed device features the advantage of launching a projectile with high muzzle velocity without exceeding the maximum pressure in the *** order to obtain some internal ballistic characteristics of the launch system,some critical structure,such as the length of the filter cartridge auxiliary charge,the combustion degree of the propellant in the chamber,and the length of the barrel,are *** experimental results show that with the increased auxiliary charge length,a pressure plateau or even a secondary peak pressure can be formed,which is less than the peak *** projectile velocity increased by 23.57%,14.64%,and 7.65%when the diaphragm thickness was 0 mm,1 mm,and2 mm,*** muzzle velocity of the projectile can be increased by 13.42%by increasing the length of the *** the same charge condition,with the increase of barrel length,the energy utilization rate of propellant increases by 28.64%.

The optical diffraction effect imposes a radical obstacle preventing conventional optical microscopes from achieving an imaging resolution beyond the Abbe diffraction limit and thereby restricting their usage in a multitude of nanoscale *** the past decade,the optical microsphere nanoimaging technique has been demonstrated to be a cost-effective solution for overcoming the diffraction limit and has achieved an imaging resolution of up to about k6k8 in a real-time and label-free manner,making it highly competitive among numerous super-resolution imaging *** this review,we summarize the underlying nano-imaging mechanisms of the microsphere nanoscope and key advancements aimed at imaging performance enhancement:first,to change the working environment or modify the peripheral hardware of a single microsphere nanoscope at the system level;second,to compose the microsphere compound lens;and third,to engineer the geometry or ingredients of *** also analyze challenges yet to be overcome in optical microsphere nano-imaging,followed by an outlook of this technique.

Phase field modeling of grain stability of nanocrystalline alloys by explicitly incorporating mismatch strain

Ab st ra ct Nanocrystalline materials exhibit unique properties due to their extremely high grain boundary(GB) ***,this high-density characteristic induces grain coarsening at elevated temperatures,thereby limiting the widespread application of nanocrystalline *** experimental observations revealed that GB segregation and second-phase pinning effectively hinder GB migration,thereby improving the stability of nanocry stalline *** this study,a mouified phase-field model that integrates mismatch strain,solute segregation and precipitation was developed to evaluate the influence of lattice misfit on the thermal stability of nanocrystalline *** simulation results indicated that introducing a suitable mismatch strain can effectively enhance the microstructural stability of nanocrystalline *** synergizing precipitation with an appropriate lattice misfit,the formation of second-phase particles in the bulk grains can be suppressed,thereby facilitating solute segregation/precipitation at the *** concentrated solute segregation and precipitation at the GBs effectively hinders grain migration,thereby preventing grain *** findings provide a new perspective on the design and regulation of nanocrystalline alloys with enhanced thermal stability.

Responses of plant diversity and soil microorganism diversity to nitrogen addition in the desert steppe,China

Nitrogen(N)deposition is a significant aspect of global change and poses a threat to terrestrial *** impact of plant-soil microbe relationships to N deposition has recently attracted considerable *** microorganisms have been proven to provide nutrients for specific plant growth,especially in nutrient-poor desert steppe ***,the effects of N deposition on plant-soil microbial community interactions in such ecosystems remain poorly *** investigate these effects,we conducted a 6-year N-addition field experiment in a Stipa breviflora *** steppe in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,*** N treatment levels(N0,N30,N50,and N100,corresponding to 0,30,50,and 100 kg N/(hm2•a),respectively)were applied to simulate atmospheric N *** results showed that N deposition did not significantly affect the aboveground biomass of desert steppe plants.N deposition did not significantly reduce the alfa-diversity of plant and microbial communities in the desert steppe,and low and mediate N additions(N30 and N50)had a promoting effect on *** variation pattern of plant Shannon index was consistent with that of the soil bacterial Chao1 index.N deposition significantly affected the beta-diversity of plants and soil bacteria,but did not significantly affect fungal *** conclusion,N deposition led to co-evolution between desert steppe plants and soil bacterial communities,while fungal communities exhibited strong stability and did not undergo significant *** findings help clarify atmospheric N deposition effects on the ecological health and function of the desert steppe.
