Review on physiological and ecological characteristics and agronomic regulatory pathways of intercropping to delay root and canopy senescence of crops

Intercropping has been widely used in arid and semi-arid regions because of its high yield,stable productivity,and efficient utilization of ***,in recent years,the high yield of traditional intercropping is mainly attributed to the large amount of purchased resources such as water and fertilizer,plastic film,and mechanical *** lead to a decline in cultivated land quality and exacerbate intercrops'premature root and canopy ***,the application of traditional intercropping faces major challenges in crop *** paper analyzes the manifestations,occurrence mechanisms,and agronomic regulatory pathways of crop *** physiological and ecological characteristics of intercropping to delay root and canopy senescence of crops are reviewed in this *** main agronomic regulatory pathways of intercropping to delay root and canopy senescence of crops are based on above-and blow-ground interactions,including collocation of crop varieties,spatial arrangement,water and fertilizer management,and tillage and mulch *** research fields of intercropping to delay root and canopy senescence should focus on the aspects of selecting and breeding special varieties,application of molecular biology techniques,and developing or applying models to predict and evaluate the root and canopy senescence process of *** analysis and evaluation of different research results could provide a basis for enhancing intercropping delay root and canopy senescence through adopting innovative technologies for regulating the physio-ecological characteristics of *** would support developing and adopting high-yield,efficient,and sustainable intercropping systems in arid and semi-arid areas with high population density,limited land,and abundant light and heat resources.

高温冻土本构模型是准确计算冻土体应力与变形的关键。基于修正剑桥模型及双屈服面理论,考虑高温冻土黏聚力及内摩擦角的影响,以整体变形ε_v-lnp曲线描述试样变形特征,采用应力路径相关因子修正当前屈服面及参考屈服面硬化参量,建立了一个高温冻土双屈服面统一本构模型。结合弹塑性理论推导获得了应力应变关系的增量形式,给出了模型参数的含义与简便确定方法,定义了反映高温冻土当前状态的固结参数及潜在强度,剖析了其与硬化参量之间的相互依赖、相互制约动态循环关系,分析了整个应力路径中的模型状态演化过程,利用试验数据对构建的本构模型进行了验证,结果表明提出的本构模型能够很好地预测高温冻土在常规三轴应力路径下的应力应变行为。

Evaluating the role of oxygen vacancies in CO_(2) photothermal catalytic reduction to methanol over 2D Bi_(2)WO_(6)

Oxygen vacancies play a vital role in the adsorption,activation,and subsequent reduction of CO_(2) to *** work presents the preparation of two-dimensional Bi_(2)WO_(6) nanosheets with different oxygen vacancy concentrations(BWO-OV1,BWO-OV_(2),and BWO-OV3)and the evaluation of their catalytic activity in the photothermal catalytic reduction of CO_(2) to *** oxygen vacancy concentration has played a decisive role in controlling the methanol *** BWO-OV_(2) catalyst with the highest oxygen vacancy concentration(13.9%)accomplishes the maximum methanol yield(82.45μmol/(g h)).This is because the oxygen vacancies enhance the adsorption and activation of CO_(2) in the form of CO_(2)^(-),broaden the light adsorption range,and promote light-induced charge carrier ***,BWO-OV_(2) exhibits 1.91 and 3.28 times higher catalytic activity in CO_(2) reduction while being used under photothermal catalytic conditions than being employed under photocatalytic and thermal catalytic conditions,*** line with the in-situ Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and computational analysis,the external heat indiscriminately promotes the adsorption and further conversion of all involved intermediates but the light irradiation selectively enhances the adsorption of CO_(2)^(-),HCOO*,and CH_(3)O**** findings of the present work might provide key mechanistic insights into understanding the role of thermal and light irradiation in photothermal catalysis.

Advances in pathogenesis of Streptococcus suis serotype 2

Streptococcus suis is one of the major pathogens of swine streptococcosis. Among them, the strongest virulence and highest rate of clinical isolation serotype is S. suis serotype 2（SS2）. Moreover, SS2 is also an important zoonosis pathogen, which caused severe public health issues in China. It has been reported that SS2 has several virulence factors, including muramidase released protein, extracellular factors, capsule, fibronectin-binding protein, enolase, hemolysin, small RNA, biofilm, two-component regulatory systems, STK/STP, etc., whose functions involved in adhesion, anti-phagocytosis, inflammatory pathway activation, invasion, etc. Actually, SS2 has developed a variety of ways to escape from host immune system during evolution. In particularly, capsule could resist phagocytosis through inhibiting sphingosine dependent immune cell recognition, which plays an important role in escaping host inflammation response; moreover, superoxide dismutase encoding by sod A enables SS2 escaping reactive oxygen species（ROS） in host immune cells; besides, binding complement factor h with Fhb could suppress the activation of complement alternative pathway and bactericidal effect. And SS2 could also hinder the formation of neutrophil extracellular traps（NETs） to avoid trapping by swine neutrophils, while host immune globulin could be degraded by Ig A1 hydrolase and Ig M protease. In addition, SS2 could escape host immune defense with the help of multiple transcriptional factors and micro-RNA. So far, the pathogenesis of meningitis, arthritis caused by SS2 infection, is still unclear, and the virulence regulatory mechanism of phosphorylation, micro-RNA need to be further clarified. Importantly, the study of interaction mechanism of pathogen and host contribute to further demonstration the pathogenesis of SS2.

西北绿洲灌区玉米叶片衰老特征对不同地膜覆盖利用方式的响应

西北绿洲灌区玉米传统生产模式中大量使用地膜伴随着生态环境污染严重,且在极端高温下玉米出现叶片早衰。针对该现象,通过免耕一膜2年覆盖利用技术探讨延缓玉米叶片衰老并增加玉米产量的可行性,以期为构建西北绿洲灌区地膜减量玉米高效生产技术提供理论支撑。2013年在西北绿洲灌区设置免耕一膜2年覆盖利用(NTP)、秋免耕春覆膜(RTP)和传统每年覆新膜(对照, CTP) 3种处理(本文采用2021-2023数据),探究玉米叶片光合源、持绿特性、细胞抗氧化酶活性和渗透调节物质含量对不同地膜覆盖利用方式的响应。结果表明,NTP和RTP可有效调节玉米生育期内光合源和叶片持绿性能的动态关系,维持生育后期较大的叶面积指数(LAI)、光合势(LAD)、叶片持绿性(SG)和叶绿素相对含量(SPAD),有利于延缓叶片衰老。与CTP相比, NTP玉米出苗后75~120 d的LAI、LAD、SG和SPAD分别提高15.1%~16.1%、14.8%~15.5%、7.2%~9.2%和11.3%~11.7%,RTP分别提高12.4%~13.0%、11.5%~12.4%、10.0%~17.6%和6.0%~6.7%。同时,通过单株绿色叶面积的拟合,发现NTP和RTP较CTP叶片衰老时间平均推迟了5.8~7.0d和6.2~7.7d,这可能是由于NTP和RTP有助于增强玉米大喇叭口期-灌浆期叶片的抗氧化能力和细胞渗透调节作用。玉米出苗后60~105 d, NTP较CTP叶片抗氧化酶(SOD、POD、CAT和APX)活性分别提高17.6%~20.0%、28.4%~34.4%、6.7%~8.4%和8.3%~10.9%, RTP较CTP分别提高11.3%~11.7%、16.9%~18.2%、4.4%~6.1%和5.8%~7.7%。此外,与CTP相比,NTP与RTP可溶性蛋白和脯氨酸含量分别提高35.9%~43.9%和29.5%~31.8%,20.7%~31.7%和17.4%~20.4%,丙二醛含量分别降低26.0%~27.8%和17.5%~25.9%。NTP对抗氧化酶和渗透调节物质的影响更大,NTP较CTP增产5.2%~6.0%。免耕一膜2年覆盖利用技术是西北灌区在实现资源减投条件下,有效延缓玉米叶片衰老且增加产量的适宜措施。
