BACKGROUND Childhood bronchial as.hma(BA)is.a chronic inflammatory res.iratory *** conditions.including zinc deficiency,can affect s.ch allergic *** To outline the difference in s.rum zinc levels.between as.hmatic children and healthy *** A cros.-s.ctional s.udy was.carried out at Children’s.Hos.ital,Cairo Univers.ty,inves.igating s.rum zinc levels.in children with BA(n=40)and healthy children(n=21).Other markers.included s.rum ferritin,iron,hemoglobin(Hb),and immunoglobulin E(IgE)*** t-tes.s.and Mann-Whinny tes.s.were us.d for *** Krus.al-Wallis.tes. was.applied to compare s.rum ferritin and IgE levels.with regard to as.hma ***'s.rank correlation was.performed to explore the relations.ip between s.rum ferritin levels.and both iron and Hb levels.in as.hmatic *** Children with BA had higher levels.of zinc,yet the difference was.not s.gnificant(P=0.115).s.rum ferritin and IgE levels.were s.gnificantly higher in as.hmatic children(P=0.006 and 0.001,res.ectively),yet their levels.did not differ s.gnificantly by s.verity(P=0.623 and 0.126,res.ectively).There was.a nons.gnificant weak correlation between s.rum ferritin levels.and both s.rum iron and Hb *** s.rum zinc levels.do not s.em to differ between as.hmatic children and healthy *** ferritin levels.may be a marker of as.hma *** IgE levels.are not markers.of as.hma s.verity.

The cultivated area is.an important component of land res.urces.that has.a direct impact on food s.curity. Egyptian cultivated area was.es.imated to be 3.86 million hectares.in 2020. Recently, there has.been a decline in cultivated areas. which could be attributed to a number of factors. including climatic changes.and urban s.rawl, endangering Egyptian s.s.ainable development. s., the aim of the current s.udy was.to forecas. the values.of cultivated areas.in Egypt for the next five years.us.ng the ARIMA model bas.d on data from 1990 to 2020. The model predicted a decreas. in cultivated area in coming years.of about 3.06, 3.19, 3.084, 3.082 and 3.21 million hectares. res.ectively, according to the res.lts. This.forecas.ing will aid the country’s.policy development for future land us.ng planning and agricultural production.

Egyptian heavy vacuum gas.oil hydrotreating over Co-Mo/CNT and Co-Mo/γ-Al2O3 catalys.s

The catalytic activity of CoMos./CNT towards.the Egyptian heavy vacuum gas.oil hydrotreating was.s.udied. The delivered CNT was.functionalized with 6 mol /L HNO_3. The CNT were loaded with 12% MoO_3( by weight) and 0.7 Co /Mo atomic ratio with impregnation methods. The γ-Al_2O_3 catalys. was.als. prepared by impregnation method to compare both catalys.s.*** analys.s.tools.s.ch XRD,Raman s.ectros.opy,TEM,and BET were us.d to characterize the catalys.s. The autoclave reactor was.us.d to operate the hydrotreating experiments. The hydrotreating reactions.were tes.ed at various.operating conditions.of temperature 325-375 ℃,pres.ure 2-6 MPa,time 2-6 h,and catalys. /oil ratio( by weight) of 1 ∶75,1 ∶33 and 1 ∶10. The res.lts.revealed that the CoMos./CNT was.highly efficient for the hydrotreating more than the CoMos./γ-Al_2O_3. Als., the hydrodes.lfurization( HDs. increas.d with increas.ng catalys. /oil ratio. Additionally,res.lts.s.owed that the optimum condition was.temperature 350℃,pres.ure 4 MPa,catalys. /oil ratio of 1 ∶75 for 2 h. Furthermore,even at low CoMos./CNT catalys. /oil ratio of 1 ∶75,an acceptable HDs.of 77.1% was.achieved.

Introduction:Rare cas.s.of autoimmune hemolytic anemia(AHA)as.ociated with us.ng ciprofloxacin or hydrochlorothiazide(HCTZ)alone have been reported ***,s.multaneous.us. of both drugs.could lead to a s.vere clinical *** s.udy pres.nts.the combination of acute kidney injury(AKI)and AHA following the s.multaneous.us. of ciprofloxacin and HCTZ for three *** Des.ription:A 42-year-old Iranian woman pres.nted to the emergency department with s.mptoms.of fatigue,lethargy,naus.a and vomiting,ataxia,oliguria,dark urine,and *** patient reported us.ng HCTZ due to high blood pres.ure and ciprofloxacin for a urinary tract infection three days.before *** laboratory findings.revealed hemolytic anemia with a hemoglobin of 7 g/dl,the s.rongly pos.tive direct and indirect Coombs.tes.,high level of lactate dehydrogenas.(820 IU/L),and hyperbilirubinemia(total:3 mg/dL and direct:1.2 mg/dL).Furthermore,hyperkalemia(5.2 mEq/L),hyperphos.hatemia(6.2 mg/dL),high levels.of BUN(100 mg/dL),and creatinine ris.(6.8 mg/dL)were *** analys.s.s.owed 2+blood,4-6 red blood cells.and cola-colored *** on the findings.druginduced AHA,followed by AKI,was.***,the drugs.were s.opped and s.eroid therapy was.*** patient underwent four s.s.ions.of hemodialys.s.to improve the ***:Healthcare providers.s.ould be aware of the life-threatening advers. effects.of commonly us.d drugs.s.ch as.ciprofloxacin or *** timely diagnos.s.of the offending drugs.leads.to avoiding the pers.s.ence of the ris. factor and the deterioration of the patient's.clinical condition.
