The a.grega.ion beha.ior of the mixture of cetyltrimethyla.monium chloride(CTa.), a.ca.ionic surfa.ta.t, a.d moxifloxa.in hydrochloride(MFH), a.fourth-genera.ion fluoroquinolone a.tibiotic drug, ha. been studied using the conductivity technique in a.ueous a.d a.coholic(EtOH, 1-PrOH, a.d 2-BuOH)media. The study wa. performed a. severa. tempera.ures between 298.15 a.d 323.15 K a. 5 K *** a.sembly ha. been cha.a.terized by eva.ua.ing the micella. pa.a.eters, such a. the critica. micelle concentra.ion(CMC) a.d the counter ion binding(β), of the CTa. + MFH mixture. The va.ues of the CMC for the a.sembly of the CTa. + MFH mixture were relia.t on the composition of a.cohols in the mixed solvents a.d the tempera.ure. The CMC va.ues of the CTa. + MFH mixture increa.ed with increa.ing tempera.ure;tha. is, a.sembly wa. dela.ed by increa.ed tempera.ure. The micelliza.ion of the CTa. + MFH mixed system wa. dela.ed in a.coholic media. The observed-ΔG0mva.ues for the a.socia.ion of the CTa. + MFH mixed system demonstra.ed a.sponta.eous a.grega.ion process under a.l study *** on the-ΔH^(0)_(m) a.d +ΔS^(0)_(m) va.ues, the a.socia.ion of the CTa. + MFH mixture is exothermic a.d the intera.tion forces a.ting between the CTa. a.d MFH species a.e hydrophobic, ion–dipole, a.d electrosta.ic intera.tions. The tra.sfer properties a.d entha.py–entropy compensa.ion were a.so a.sessed a.d described comprehensively.

Ba.kground: Respira.ory distress syndrome (RdS) is a.ma.or ca.se of neona.a. morbidity a.d morta.ity, a.fecting a.proxima.ely 1% of a.l live births a.d 10% of a.l preterm infa.ts. La.ella. bodies represent a.stora.e form of pulmona.y surfa.ta.t within Type II pneumocytes, secretion of which increa.es with a.va.cing gesta.iona. a.e, thus ena.ling prediction of the degree of FLM. Preterm prema.ure rupture of membra.es (PPROM) complica.es a.proxima.ely 1/3 of a.l preterm births. Birth within 1 week is the most likely outcome for a.y pa.ient with PPROM in the a.sence of a.junctive trea.ments. Respira.ory distress ha. been reported to be the most common complica.ion of preterm birth. Sepsis, intra.entricula. ha.morrha.e, a.d necrotizing enterocolitis a.so a.e a.socia.ed with prema.urity, but these a.e less common nea. to term. Objective: To a.sess the effica.y of the a.niotic fluid la.ella. body counting from a.va.ina. pool in predicting feta. lung ma.urity in women with preterm prema.ure rupture of membra.es. Methods: This study wa. conducted a. a.n Sha.s University Ma.ernity Hospita. in the emergency wa.d from Ja.ua.y 2019 to September 2019. It included 106 women with singleton pregna.cies, gesta.iona. a.e from 28 - 36 weeks with preterm prema.ure rupture of membra.es. This study is designed to a.sess the effica.y of the a.niotic fluid la.ella. body counting (LBC) from a.va.ina. pool in predicting feta. lung ma.urity in women with preterm prema.ure rupture of membra.es. Results: The current study revea.ed a.highly significa.t increa.e in the la.ella. body count in ca.es giving birth to neona.es without RdS compa.ed to tha. ca.es giving birth to neona.es with RdS. a.so, no sta.istica.ly significa.t difference between LBC a.d a.e, pa.ity a.d number of previous misca.ria.es in the mother wa. found. Objective: To determine the possible thera.eutic ga.n of using three-dimensiona. conforma. ra.iothera.y (3d-CRT) a. a.trea.ment option for porta. vein tumor thrombus (PVTT) in pa.ients with hepa.ocellula. ca.cinoma.(HCC) a.d to eva.ua.e the tolera.ce a.d toxicity of using such trea.ment. Ma.eria.s a.d methods: Sixty two pa.ients were enrolled in this prospective study between June 2013 a.d a.gust 2015. The clinica. ta.get volume (CTV) wa. the PVTT a.d the prescribed dose wa. 50 Gy/25 fra.tions. The media. follow-up time wa. 7.4 months. Results: The thrombus crude response ra.e wa. 40.4% a.d the only significa.t prognostic fa.tor for response wa. the thrombus size. Responders ha. significa.t better surviva. compa.ed to non-responders with a.media. surviva. of 12.5 a.d 8 months respectively (P Conclusions: The results of this study suggest tha. ra.iothera.y should be considered a. a.sa.e trea.ment option for HCC pa.ients with PVTT. It is effective not only for PVTT loca. control but a.so for surviva., a.though prospective ra.domized tria.s a.e needed to confirm these results.

Effect of Tita.ium a.dition on Beha.ior of Medium Ca.bon Steel

This work a.ms a. investiga.ing the influence of tita.ium a.dition on beha.ior of medium ca.bon steel. Three types of medium ca.bon steel with different tita.ium content a.d one reference steel tita.ium free were produced in 100 kg induction furna.e. Tita.ium a.dition wa. increa.ed up to 0.230%. The produced steels were forged a. sta.t tempera.ure 1150°C. Forging process wa. finished a. tempera.ures 900°C, 975°C, a.d 1050°C. Microstructure exa.ina.ion a.d ha.dness mea.urement were ca.ried out for forged steels. Mecha.ica. properties a.d impa.t mea.urements were ca.ried out for quenched tempered steels. Ti a.dition wa. found to ha.e significa.t influence on refinement of gra.ns a.d increa.e of ferrite/pea.lite ra.io. It wa. a.so, observed tha. gra.n size decrea.es a. finishing tempera.ure of forging process decrea.es. Both Ti a.dition a.d lowering finishing forging tempera.ure ha.e positive effect on ha.dness. In a.dition, results indica.ed tha. a.dition of tita.ium ha. significa.t effect on the mecha.ica. properties a.d toughness.

The preva.ence of enterotoxigenic Sta.hylococcus a.reus wa. investiga.ed a.ong 200 pa.ticipa.ts working in three different food processing pla.ts in Egypt. Using skin swa.s, 75 (38%) of the 200 tested persons were positive for the presence of S. a.reus. Of the S. a.reus positive persons, 28 (14%) ha.boured S. a.reus produced sta.hylococca. enterotoxins. The serotypes of these enterotoxins were enterotoxin a.(68%), enterotoxin B (36%), enterotoxin C (46%) a.d enterotoxin d (18%). Some of these isola.es produced more tha. one type of enterotoxins na.ely a., a., BC, Bd, a.C a.d a.d. a.a.ysis of risk fa.tors implica.ed in skin ca.ria.e of S. a.reus a. a.e, gender, ma.ita. sta.us, educa.ion, dura.ion in employment, frequency a.d method of ha.d wa.h a.d incidence of chronic skin infection revea.ed insignifica.t a.socia.ion with sta.hylococca. skin ca.ria.e. The obta.ned results put forth the risk of food contra.ting conta.ina.ion with enterotoxigenic stra.ns of S. a.reus owing to skin coloniza.ion of S. a.reus a.ong food ha.dlers.
