This study reports the synthesis and characterization of quinoline derivatives. The synthesized quinoline compounds were applied to the dyeing treatment of acrylic fabrics. The color fastness to washing and light of quinoline compound-dyed fabrics was examined. Human skin HaCaT cell line was also used for the skin cytotoxicity evaluation of the quinoline compound-dyed acrylic fabrics.

Good toilet hygiene can reduce the risk of pathogenic *** flushing,pathogenic bacteria can be spread by the water droplets,especially in the toilet *** coli(***)is one of the frequently occurring Gram-negative bacterial pathogens found in the toilet *** this study,we investigated the potential *** activity of some azobenzene *** them,compound 2,with the heterocyclic nitrogen in both phenyl rings,showed the strongest antibacterial effect on ***,with the minimum inhibitory concentration of 80μg/mL and the minimum bactericidal concentration of 320μg/*** 2 displayed a comparative zone of clearance[(14.50±2.29)mm]to that of ampicillin[(13.17±1.76)mm].The reactive oxygen species(ROS)assay suggested that compound 2 might induce the loss of bacteria via the oxidative stress by eliciting the generation of intracellular *** further examined the potential cytotoxicity of compound 2 to the human skin HaCaT *** 2-treated skin cells showed a good maintenance of cellular morphology and a clear definition of cell nuclei,with a satisfactory cell viability(ca.90%)at 80μg/***,compound 2 would be a possible antibacterial coating agent for the surface sanitizer of the toilet seats to inhibit the growth of ***.

The visions of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 have reinforced the industrial *** have also made artificial intelligence incorporated as a major *** machine faults has become a solid foundation for automatically recognizing machine failure,and thus timely maintenance can ensure safe *** learning is a promising solution that can enhance the machine fault diagnosis model by borrowing pre-trained knowledge from the source model and applying it to the target model,which typically involves two *** response to the availability of multiple datasets,this paper proposes using selective and adaptive incremental transfer learning(SA-ITL),which fuses three algorithms,namely,the hybrid selective algorithm,the transferability enhancement algorithm,and the incremental transfer learning *** is a selective algorithm that enables selecting and ordering appropriate datasets for transfer learning and selecting useful knowledge to avoid negative *** algorithm also adaptively adjusts the portion of training data to balance the learning rate and training *** proposed algorithm is evaluated and analyzed using ten benchmark *** with other algorithms from existing works,SA-ITL improves the accuracy of all *** studies present the accuracy enhancements of the SA-ITL,including the hybrid selective algorithm(1.22%-3.82%),transferability enhancement algorithm(1.91%-4.15%),and incremental transfer learning algorithm(0.605%-2.68%).These also show the benefits of enhancing the target model with heterogeneous image datasets that widen the range of domain selection between source and target domains.

Estimating stand transpiration of natural forests using traditional methods through up-scaling of sap fl ux density from sample trees based on stand sapwood area only is diffi cult because of the complexity of species,ages,and hierarchical structure of natural *** improve stand transpiration estimation,we developed an up-scaling method by considering the tree dominance eff ect based on the assumption that individual tree transpiration is aff ected by crown dominance and species,in addition to factors previously considered such as meteorological conditions,sapwood area,and soil *** this study,the meteorological factors,soil moisture,and sap fl ux density of 15 sample trees of diff erent species and dominance in a natural evergreen and deciduous broadleaved mixed forest were simultaneously monitored from March 2012 to February 2014 in the Karst mountain region in southwestern *** establishing a single tree transpiration model which considers the eff ects of dominance and species,an up-scaling method was explored to estimate stand *** results show that the transpiration intensity increased exponentially with increasing tree *** contribution to annual stand transpiration from a few dominant trees(5.4%of trees, 28.2% of basal area) was up to 65.0%. The correspondingcontribution was 16.2% from sub-dominant trees(7.6% of trees, 16.2% of basal area) and 22.8% from middleandlower-layer trees (87.0% of trees, 55.6% of basal area).The variation of individual tree transpiration was mainly(97.9%) explained by tree dominance, but very weakly bytree species. The estimated annual stand transpiration was300.2 mm when using the newly developed method whichconsiders tree dominance, 52.5 mm (14.9%) lower than theestimation (352.7 mm) of traditional method which considersonly the sapwood area eff ect, and 8.5 mm (2.7%) lowerthan the estimation (308.6 mm) which considers the eff ectsof both species composition and sapwood area.
