Loss of coolant accident(LOCA),loss of fluid accident(LOFA),and loss of vacuum accident(LOVA)are the most severe accidents that can occur in nuclear power reactors(NPRs).These accidents occur when the reactor loses its cooling media,leading to uncontrolled chain reactions akin to a nuclear *** article is focused on exploring methods to prevent such accidents and ensure that the reactor cooling system remains fully *** reactor coolant pump(RCP)has a pivotal role in facilitating heat exchange between the primary cycle,which is connected to the reactor core,and the secondary cycle associated with the steam ***,the RCP is integral to preventing catastrophic events such as LOCA,LOFA,and LOVA *** this study,we discuss the most critical aspects related to the RCP,specifically focusing on RCP control and RCP fault *** AI-based adaptive fuzzy method is used to regulate the RCP’s speed and torque,whereas the neural fault diagnosis system(NFDS)is implemented for alarm signaling and fault diagnosis in nuclear *** address the limitations of linguistic and statistical intelligence approaches,an integration of the statistical approach with fuzzy logic has been *** integrated system leverages the strengths of both *** fuzzy control was applied to the VVER 1200 NPR-RCP induction motor,and the NFDS was implemented on the Kori-2 NPR-RCP.

Autonomic dysreflexia （AD） is a serious cardiovascular disorder in patients with spinal cord injury （SCI）. The primary underlying cause of AD is loss of supraspinal control over sympathetic preganglionic neurons （SPNs） caudal to the injury, which renders the SPNs hyper-responsive to stimulation. Central maladaptive plasticity, including C-fiber sprouting and propriospinal fiber proliferation exaggerates noxious afferent transmission to the SPNs, causing them to release massive sympathetic discharges that result in severe hypertensive episodes. In parallel, upregulated peripheral vascular sensitivity following SCI exacerbates the hypertensive response by augmenting gastric and pelvic vasoconstriction. Currently, the majority of clinically employed treatments for AD involve anti-hypertensive medications and Botox injections to the bladder. Although these approaches mitigate the severity of AD, they only yield transient effects and target the effector organs, rather than addressing the primary issue of central sympathetic dysregulation. As such, strategies that aim to restore supraspinal reinnervation of SPNs to improve cardiovascular sympathetic regulation are likely more effective for AD. Recent pre-clinical investigations show that cell transplantation therapy is efficacious in reestablishing spinal sympathetic connections and improving hemodynamic per- formance, which holds promise as a potential therapeutic approach.

We investigated the resistance of acetylated rattan against soft rot and other soil inhabiting micro-organisms in comparison with wood of beech and Scots pine. Calamus manan of 10 and 13 years old under rubber tree canopy was acetylated to different levels by reaction times （0.25 to 30 hours） and was tested for soft rot decay for 32 weeks. Acetylated rattan at decay protection thresholds of 15.4% and 16.2% weight gain （WG） were fully protected, as shown by both weight loss and strength loss criteria. The static bending properties of untreated rattan decayed by soft rot were significantly lower than for acetylated rattan.

The rapid movement of heat transferred goes to be the most important target for researchers to deals with the thermal problems of electronic ***,that has high packing densities in limited ***,vertical combination between two shapes of fins was considered to improve the thermal performance of heat ***,many models(longitudinal-pin fins)were created as a new approach based on the stable both of material and *** the analytical solution,Finite element techniques used to solve the mathematical modeling and signum-sinusoidal-signum function was modified to model both the variable heat transfer area and convection *** in the numerical procedure,ANSYS simulation used as the validation of temperature *** addition,results from previous work were used as second method of validation *** results show a high level of agreement by maximum difference does not exceed(3.52%).In the calculation process,natural convection,range of Ra number(105–107)were applied for all models of which each one is distinguished by the parameter of area ratio(A∗)between hybrid model and longitudinal *** results show many advantages;a significant drop in temperature profile about(2.7%–8.8%).Also,decrease in thermal resistance by(23%–43%)and increases in heat transferred(29%–78%).Furthermore,all parameters have a significant improve for the models that have A∗1.48 as a result of overlapping between the effects of miscellaneous *** that associated with the entropy generation was *** this step,it becomes important to find the model that achieves maximize of the thermal performance and minimize of the entropy *** that,the optimization procedure using genetic algorithm was ***'s clearly the best model exist within a close range between 1.509 and 1.518 based on the behavior of the best fitness function.

Extraction of titanium（Ⅳ）from real chloride leach liquor of ilmenite was carried out with 0.1 mol L^（-1）di-（2-ethylhexyl）phosphoric acid（HDEHP）in *** and kinetics studies for Ti（Ⅳ）were carried out in the presence of impurities that were leached with Ti（Ⅳ）.Parameters affecting extraction rate of Ti（Ⅳ）from chloride media in the presence of Fe（Ⅲ）,Mg（Ⅱ）,and Al（Ⅲ）were studied to evaluate the stoichiometry of extracted Ti（Ⅳ）*** is found that the extraction rate of Ti（Ⅳ）is dependent on the extractant concentration and pH of *** the optimum conditions,more than 95%Ti（Ⅳ）can be *** the basis of slope analysis method,the extracted species of Ti（Ⅳ）appears to be[TiO（H_2A_2）_2]_（org）,where H_2A_2 refers to ***,the kinetic studies of the extraction process of Ti（Ⅳ）and other metal ion impurities were carried out by a Lewis cell with a constant interfacial area of 16.7 cm^*** of the experimental results suggests that TiO^（2＋）extraction rate by HDEHP is the first with respect to hydrogen ion concentration and HDEHP *** results are interpreted by a reaction mechanism where the extraction process is controlled by a diffusion process at the interface rather than in the bulk phase.

A generalized continuity equation extending the ordinary continuity equation is found using quanternions to show it is compatible with Dirac, Schrǒdinger, Klein-Gordon and diffusion equations. This generalized equation is Lorentz invariant. The transport properties of electrons are found to be governed by the Schr6dinger-like equation and not by the diffusion equation.
