Nanoparticles with non-spherical shapes are now being widely used for various photonic *** observe experimentally that the magnitude as well as the time dependence of the transient absorption of a colloid of silver nanoplatelets depends on the relative polarization of the pump and probe *** have been a few reports about the dependence of the transient signal magnitude on polarization,but little information is available on its temporal *** a theoretical model,we show that this observed behavior arises from the fact that the energy absorption by a non-spherical nanoparticle depends on,among other factors,the nanoparticle orientation with respect to the pump and probe polarization *** is essential to consider this when estimating nanoparticle characteristics such as carrier thermalization time,carrier–phonon scattering time,and complex polarizability from transient absorption measurements.

Over the last few years,there is huge scientific attention towards the research related to Extracellular Vesicles(EVs),because of their unique property of inter cellular communications and effective biological significance in diagnosis and therapy[1].Extracellular Vesicles are lipid bilayer membrane bound biological entity,which contains different bioactive compounds(cargoes)such as microRNAs(miRNAs),mRNAs,proteins,and *** on their origin and size,EVs have been categorized into three different types(a)Exosomes(40 nm-150 nm)are smallest EVs,which are synthesized by endocytic pathways in the cells and secreted in extracellular space through exocytosis process,(b)Microvesicles are secreted from direct budding off plasma membranes and their size varying from 50 nm to 1000 nm and,(c)Apoptotic bodies are formed during apoptotic cell death process and respectively larger in size>1000 nm[1-3].EVs have been identified using different markers,that includes tetraspanins proteins(CD9,CD63,CD81,and CD83),endosomal sorting complexes required for transport(TSG101,Alix),heat shock proteins(Hsp60,Hsp70,Hsp90),and Rab proteins(RAB27a/b)[1].

Objective:The present study aims to evaluate aims to assess the knowledge,attitude,and practice of primiparous mothers in the immediate postpartum period regarding breastfeeding techniques which will be helpful in forming awareness and training *** and Methods:A cross-sectional survey was used.A total of 120 primiparous mothers with a mean age of 24.92 years participated in the survey and filled the questionnaire related to the knowledge,attitude,and practice of techniques of ***:Results revealed that 48.3%of new mothers were not aware of the correct techniques to initiate breastfeeding,whereas 68.3%of subjects reported that during latching,the baby’s upper and lower lip should be *** majority of new mothers were aware of breastfeeding techniques with some misconceptions as in our culture,most of the breastfeeding information passed from generation to ***:The level of awareness about feeding skills among primiparous mothers can be further improved by antenatal counseling or training from health-care workers during the gestational *** will further help new mothers to educate and will provide adequate information which will decrease the myths.

This paper deals with the fatigue crack growth simulations of three-dimensional linear elastic cracks by XFEM under cyclic thermal load. Both temperature and displacement approximations are extrinsically enriched by Heaviside and crack front enrichment functions. Crack growth is modelled by successive linear extensions, and the end points of these linear extensions are joined by cubic spline segments to obtain a modified crack front. Different crack geometries such as planer, non-planer and arbitrary spline shape cracks are simulated under thermal shock, adiabatic and isothermal loads to reveal the sturdiness and versatility of the XFEM approach.

Objective:To study the potential role of subjective visual vertical(SVV)as a prognostic marker for canalith repositioning maneuver(CRM)in patients with posterior canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo(PC-BPPV)for the Indian ***:SVV was examined in 30 patients with PC-BPPV before and after canalith repositioning maneuver and after complete resolution of *** parameters included the mean of 10 angular tilt readings and direction of deviation,which were compared before and after CRM and following complete resolution of ***:The angle of SVV tilt was greater and deviated towards the affected ear before CRM in all patients,which decreased significantly shortly after CRM and continued to decrease after complete resolution of PC-BPPV(p<0.0001).Conclusions:SVV can be used to test utricular dysfunction in *** angle of tilt improves in response to CRM,which may be used as a prognostic marker in patients with PC-BPPV receiving CRM.

Design of e-Land Record Information System with Google Map Using Mobile Commerce

e-Governance facilities are being used nowadays by citizens in various Government projects of the country. But the integration of mobile technologies with the e-Governance projects can lead to more human interaction and benefits for the society as a whole. This will result in having more impact on the lives of the common citizens and increase in awareness of such e-Governance projects. The paper introduces the features, technologies and design of the Android mobile device application, mobileLoanapp for the customer (client) of the bank for the loan approval process. The e-Land record information system has been designed and implemented with Google Map using Mobile Commerce by developing this mobile app. This m-app has been developed so as to provide improved and flexible e-Governance facility to the common citizens of the country. The proposed system if adapted will pave the way for the real-time applications to be embedded with the e-Governance facilities. This paper presents the overall system architecture along with its functional components and scope of the very appealing m-application (mobileLoanapp) for bank loan approval process in interconnection with the land server (part of Farad Kendra’s). The overall advantages of the proposed m-app have also been determined in comparison to the existing e-Governance system, giving a viable option to adopt and make use of integration of mobile technologies for providing e-Governance through this m-app.

Auditory evoked potentials serve as an objective mode for assessment to check the functioning of the auditory system and *** has reported enhanced electrophysiological responses in musicians, which shows neuroplasticity in musicians. Various databases including Pub Med, Google, Google Scholar and Medline were searched for references related to auditory evoked potentials in musicians from 1994 till date. Different auditory evoked potentials in musicians have been summarized in the present article. The findings of various studies may support as evidences for music-induced neuroplasticity which can be used for the treatment of various clinical disorders. The search results showed enhanced auditory evoked potentials in musicians compared to non-musicians from brainstem to cortical levels. Also, the present review showed enhanced attentive and pre-attentive skills in musicians compared to non-musicians.

Chickpea (Cicer airetinum L.) is an important and most preferred food legume in many parts of the world especially in the Indian sub-continent. Molecular analysis of chickpea using DNA technology has been carried out to identify the diverse genetic base of the cultivars for selected preferential introductions as efficient edible elements. A few of these genetic stocks have been documented here to tap their genetic diversity. The status shows that the level of polymorphism in this species is low. Using PCR based markers, marker assisted selection of polymorphy is one of the established techniques. Here, this procedure has been employed to expedite gene/QTL pyramiding in the chickpea. The study presented here includes analysis of 12 germplasms of chickpea. Standard CTAB method has been performed, with certain modifications, to get better intensity and resolution of DNA bands. Extracted DNA, amplified with 41 RAPD and 21 ISSR primers are thereby tested to determine genetic diversity. The presentation discusses the results of chickpea germplasm diversity on the basis of these observations.
