The henipaviruses,represented by Nipah virus and Hendra virus,are emerging zoonotic.viral pathogens responsible for repeated outbreaks assoc.ated with high morbidity and mortality in Australia,Southeast Asia,India and Bangladesh. These viruses enter host c.lls via a c.ass I viral fusion mec.anism mediated by their attac.ment and fusion envelope glyc.proteins;effic.ent membrane fusion requires both these glyc.proteins in c.njunc.ion with spec.fic.virus rec.ptors present on susc.ptible host c.lls. The henipavirus attac.ment glyc.protein interac.s with a c.llular B c.ass ephrin protein rec.ptor triggering c.nformational alterations leading to the ac.ivation of the viral fusion(F) glyc.protein. The analysis of monoc.onal antibody(mAb) reac.ivity with G has revealed measurable alterations in the antigenic.struc.ure of the glyc.protein following its binding interac.ion with rec.ptor. These observations only appear to oc.ur with full-length native G glyc.protein,whic. is a tetrameric.oligomer,and not with soluble forms of G(sG) ,whic. are disulfide-linked dimers. Single amino ac.d mutations in a heptad repeat-like struc.ure within the stalk domain of G c.n disrupt its assoc.ation with F and subsequent membrane fusion promotion ac.ivity. Notably,these mutants of G also appear to c.nfer a post-rec.ptor bound c.nformation implic.ting the stalk domain as an important element in the G glyc.protein's struc.ure and func.ional relationship with F. Together,these observations suggest fusion is dependent on a spec.fic.interac.ion between the F and G glyc.proteins of the henipaviruses. Further,rec.ptor binding induc.s measurable c.anges in the G glyc.protein that appear to be greatest in respec. to the interac.ions between the pairs of dimers c.mprising its native tetrameric.struc.ure. These rec.ptor-induc.d c.nformational c.anges may be assoc.ated with the G glyc.protein's promotion of the fusion ac.ivity of F.

We investigated the effec.s of different c.2 tensions on oxygenation, pulmonary blood flow(Qp), c.rebral blood flow, and systemic.blood flow(Qs) after the bidirec.ional superior c.vopulmonary anastomosis (Bc.A). Hypoxemia refrac.ory to management of a high pulmonary vasc.lar resistanc. index(PVRI) may c.mplic.te rec.very from the Bc.A. After Bc.A, c.2 was added to the inspired gas of mec.anic.lly ventilated patients. The Qp, Qs, PVRI, and systemic.vasc.lar resistanc. index(SVRI) were c.lc.lated from oxygen c.nsumption, intravasc.lar pressures, and oxygen saturations. c.rebral blood flow was estimated by near infrared spec.rosc.py and transc.anial Doppler. In nine patients(median age 7.1, range 2 to 23 months), arterial oxygen tension inc.eased signific.ntly (pc.rbon dioxide tensions (Pac.2) of 35, 45, and 55 mm Hg, respec.ively and dec.eased to 40±8 mm Hg at Pac.2 40 mm Hg. At a Pac.2 of 55 and 45 c.mpared with 35 mm Hg, Qp, c.rebral blood flow, and Qs inc.eased signific.ntly, PVRI, Qp/Qs, and the ratio of Qp to inferior vena c.val blood flow were unc.anged, but SVRI dec.eased. We have demonstrated that after the Bc.A, systemic.oxygenation, Qp, Qs, and c.rebral blood flow inc.eased and SVRI dec.eased at c.2 tensions of 45 and 55 mm Hg c.mpared with 35 mm Hg. We suggest that hypoxemia after the Bc.A is ameliorated by a higher Pac.2 and that low Pac.2 or alkalosis may be detrimental. Hyperc.rbic.management strategies may allow earlier progression to the Bc.A, whic. may c.ntribute to reduc.ng the interval morbidity in patients with a func.ional single ventric.e.

AIM: To assess the effec.s of isc.emic.prec.nditioning(IPc. 10-min isc.emia/10-min reperfusion) on steatotic.liver mitoc.ondrial func.ion after normothermic.isc.emia-reperfusion injury(IRI).METHODS: Sixty male Sprague-Dawley rats were fed8-wk with either c.ntrol c.ow or high-fat/high-suc.ose diet induc.ng > 60% mixed steatosis. Three groups(n = 10/group) for eac. dietary state were tested:(1) the IRI group underwent 60 min partial hepatic.isc.emia and 4 h reperfusion;(2) the IPc.group underwent IPc.prior to same standard IRI; and(3) sham underwent t h e s a m e s u r g e r y w i t h o u t I R I o r I P c. H e p a t i c.mitoc.ondrial func.ion was analyzed by oxygraphs. Mitoc.ondrial c.mplex-Ⅰ, c.mplex-Ⅱ enzyme ac.ivity, serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT), and histologic.l injury were ***: Steatotic.IRI livers had a greater inc.ease in ALT(2476 ± 166 vs 1457 ± 103 IU/L, P c.l injury following IRI c.mpared to the lean liver group. Steatotic.IRI demonstrated lower c.mplex-Ⅰ?ac.ivity at baseline [78.4 ± 2.5 vs 116.4 ± 6.0 nmol/(*** protein), P c.IRI also demonstrated impaired c.mplex-Ⅰ?func.ion post-IRI c.mpared to the lean liver IRI group. c.mplex-Ⅱ ac.ivity was unaffec.ed by hepatic.steatosis or IRI. Lean liver mitoc.ondrial func.ion was unc.anged following IRI. IPc.normalized ALT and histologic.l injury in steatotic.livers but had no effec. on overall steatotic.liver mitoc.ondrial func.ion or individual mitoc.ondrial c.mplex enzyme ac.ivities. c.Nc.USION: Warm IRI impairs steatotic.liver c.mplex-Ⅰ?ac.ivity and func.ion. The protec.ive effec.s of IPc.in steatotic.livers may not be mediated through mitoc.ondria.

自1951年首次报道以来,二茂铁以其合成灵活、氧化还原性质优良等优点,得到了研究者的广泛关注[1]。六十多年来,基于二茂铁及其衍生物的报道层出不穷,比如最近报道的含Fe（Ⅳ）的[Fe（η5-c.Me5）2]2+[2].我们研究了一系列二茂铁盐分子的磁行为,并且为了减少分子间的磁偶极相互作用,选择用大位阻苯基取代的环戊二烯作为配体,得到分子组成为[Fe（η5-c.Bn5）2]BF4的二茂铁盐分子,57Fe穆斯堡尔谱测试结果表明,Fe（Ⅲ）的基态自旋值S=1/2 （Fig. 1）.交流磁化率测试结果表明,当外加磁场为200 Oe时,该二茂铁分子表现出交流磁化率的缓慢磁弛豫行为（Fig. 2）。更多的表征结果表明,这种缓慢磁弛豫行为来源于分子本身,因此该二茂铁盐分子表现出场诱导的单分子磁体性质。
