While emerging data suggest nucleotide oligomerization domain receptor 1(NOD1),a cytoplasmic pattern recognition receptor,may play an important and complementary role in the immune response to bacterial infection,its role in cancer metastasis is entirely ***,we sought to determine the effects of NOD1 on ***1 expression in paired human primary colon cancer,human and murine colon cancer cells were determined using immunohistochemistry and immunoblotting(WB).Clinical significance of NOD1 was assessed using TCGA survival data.A series of in vitro and in vivo functional assays,including adhesion,migration,and metastasis,was conducted to assess the effect of NOD1.C12-iE-DAP,a highly selective NOD1 ligand derived from gram-negative bacteria,was used to activate ***130,a specific NOD1 inhibitor,was used to block C12-iE-DAP *** knockdown(KD)of NOD1 in human colon cancer cells(HT29)was constructed with shRNA lentiviral transduction and the functional assays were thus ***,the predominant signaling pathway of NOD1-activation was identified using WB and functional assays in the presence of specific kinase *** data demonstrate that NOD1 is highly expressed in human colorectal cancer(CRC)and human and murine CRC cell ***,we demonstrate that this increased NOD1 expression negatively impacts survival in patients with ***,we identify NOD1 activation by C12-iE-DAP augments CRC cell adhesion,migration and *** effects are predominantly mediated via the p38 mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK)*** is the first study implicating NOD1 in cancer metastasis,and thus identifying this receptor as a putative therapeutic target.

Knowledge-Driven Possibilistic Clustering with Automatic Cluster Elimination

Traditional Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) and Possibilistic C-Means (PCM) clustering algorithms are data-driven, and their objective function minimization process is based on the available numeric data. Recently, knowledge hints have been introduced to form knowledge-driven clustering algorithms, which reveal a data structure that considers not only the relationships between data but also the compatibility with knowledge hints. However, these algorithms cannot produce the optimal number of clusters by the clustering algorithm itself; they require the assistance of evaluation indices. Moreover, knowledge hints are usually used as part of the data structure (directly replacing some clustering centers), which severely limits the flexibility of the algorithm and can lead to knowledge misguidance. To solve this problem, this study designs a new knowledge-driven clustering algorithm called the PCM clustering with High-density Points (HP-PCM), in which domain knowledge is represented in the form of so-called high-density points. First, a new data density calculation function is proposed. The Density Knowledge Points Extraction (DKPE) method is established to filter out high-density points from the dataset to form knowledge hints. Then, these hints are incorporated into the PCM objective function so that the clustering algorithm is guided by high-density points to discover the natural data structure. Finally, the initial number of clusters is set to be greater than the true one based on the number of knowledge hints. Then, the HP-PCM algorithm automatically determines the final number of clusters during the clustering process by considering the cluster elimination mechanism. Through experimental studies, including some comparative analyses, the results highlight the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, such as the increased success rate in clustering, the ability to determine the optimal cluster number, and the faster convergence speed. IMTNet: Improved Multi-Task Copy-Move Forgery Detection Network with Feature Decoupling and Multi-Feature Pyramid

Copy-Move Forgery Detection (CMFD) is a technique that is designed to identify image tampering and locate suspicious areas. However, the practicality of the CMFD is impeded by the scarcity of datasets, inadequate quality and quantity, and a narrow range of applicable tasks. These limitations significantly restrict the capacity and applicability of CMFD. To overcome the limitations of existing methods, a novel solution called IMTNet is proposed for CMFD by employing a feature decoupling approach. Firstly, this study formulates the objective task and network relationship as an optimization problem using transfer learning. Furthermore, it thoroughly discusses and analyzes the relationship between CMFD and deep network architecture by employing ResNet-50 during the optimization solving phase. Secondly, a quantitative comparison between fine-tuning and feature decoupling is conducted to evaluate the degree of similarity between the image classification and CMFD domains by the enhanced ResNet-50. Finally, suspicious regions are localized using a feature pyramid network with bottom-up path augmentation. Experimental results demonstrate that IMTNet achieves faster convergence, shorter training times, and favorable generalization performance compared to existing methods. Heat Transfer and Friction Characteristics of Printed Circuit Heat Exchangers with Different Channel Structures for S-CO_(2) Power System

Printed circuit heat exchanger(PCHE)has been widely used in supercritical carbon dioxide(S-CO_(2))power systems because of its high heat transfer efficiency and good ***,due to the large variety of PCHE configurations,channel selection in practical applications lacks a ***,this paper discussed the heat transfer and friction characteristics and the synergy of three fields in the channel under the guidance of the field synergy principle for four typical PCHE ***,the comprehensive performance of four channels was ***,the heat transfer and friction factor correlations for S-CO_(2)in four channels were *** findings demonstrate that the synergy of velocity and pressure fields of the straight channel PCHE is better(β≈180°),so its resistance loss is relatively *** zigzag and sinusoidal wavy channels and the airfoil fins can reduce the angle a between the temperature gradient and velocity,thus enhancing the heat *** sinusoidal wavy channel can reduce flow resistance compared to the zigzag channel due to the rounded *** streamlined airfoil structure can guide the flow and reduce backflow,thus reducing resistance *** the range of Re studied in this paper,the maximum error of the proposed heat transfer and friction factor correlations of PCHE is 7.0%,which shows good fitting *** research in this paper can provide a reference for the selection and design of PCHE with different channel configurations.

Herein,Co/CoO heterojunction nanoparticles(NPs)rich in oxygen vacancies embedded in mesoporous walls of nitrogen-doped hollow carbon nanoboxes coupled with nitrogen-doped carbon nanotubes(P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT)are well designed through zeolite-imidazole framework(ZIF-67)carbonization,chemical vapor deposition,and O_(2) plasma *** a result,the threedimensional NHCNBs coupled with NCNTs and unique heterojunction with rich oxygen vacancies reduce the charge transport resistance and accelerate the catalytic reaction rate of the P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT,and they display exceedingly good electrocatalytic performance for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR,halfwave potential[EORR,1/2=0.855 V *** hydrogen electrode])and oxygen evolution reaction(OER,overpotential(η_(OER,10)=377mV@10mA cm^(−2)),which exceeds that of the commercial Pt/C+RuO_(2) and most of the formerly reported ***,both the aqueous and flexible foldable all-solid-state rechargeable zinc-air batteries(ZABs)assembled with the P-Co/CoOV@NHCNB@NCNT catalyst reveal a large maximum power density and outstanding long-term cycling ***-principles density functional theory calculations show that the formation of heterojunctions and oxygen vacancies enhances conductivity,reduces reaction energy barriers,and accelerates reaction kinetics *** work opens up a new avenue for the facile construction of highly active,structurally stable,and cost-effective bifunctional catalysts for ZABs.
