BACKGROUND Growth arrest-specific gene 2(GAS2)plays a role in modulating in reversible growth arrest cell cycle,apoptosis,and cell ***2 protein is universally expressed in most normal tissues,particularly in the liver,but is depleted in some tumor ***,the functional mechanisms of GAS2 in hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)are not fully *** To investigate the function and mechanism of GAS2 in *** GAS2 expression in clinic liver and HCC specimens was analyzed by real-time PCR and western *** proliferation was analyzed by counting,MTS,and colony formation *** cycle analysis was performed by flow *** apoptosis was investigated by Annexin V apoptosis assay and western *** GAS2 protein expression was lower in HCC than in normal *** of GAS2 inhibited the proliferation of HCC cells with wide-type p53,while knockdown of GAS2 promoted the proliferation of hepatocytes(Pchanges of GAS2 expression in tumor tissues were significantly lower than those in paired non-tumor tissues(P<0.05).CONCLUSION GAS2 plays a vital role in HCC cell proliferation and apoptosis,possibly by regulating the cell cycle and p53-dependent apoptosis pathway.

Intelligent and connected vehicles(ICVs)are confronted with critically complex traffic scenarios and safety challenges that have attracted increasing attention from academia and *** intelligent safety of ICVs involves several technologies and requires the common efforts of researchers and engineers,including the safety of the intended functionality(SOTIF),the safety of artificial intelligence,the intricacies of cybersecurity,and ethical *** the intelligent safety of ICVs presents substantial chal-lenges in both research and commercialization,particularly SOTIF,which refers to the absence of unreasonable risk owing to hazards resulting from functional insufficiencies of the intended functiona-lity or reasonably foreseeable misuse by *** of the limited scene coverage ability of training samples and the practical application conditions without boundary restrictions,it is very dif-ficult to find the functional insufficiency of the intended function-ality and overcome it under dynamic unknown scenarios,which is also the source of SOTIF.

Emerging evidence and perspectives have pointed towards the heart playing an important role in hepatorenal syndrome(HRS),outside of conventional understanding that liver cirrhosis is traditionally considered the sole origin of a cascade of pathophysiological mechanisms directly affecting the kidneys in this *** the absence of established heart disease,cirrhotic cardiomyopathy may occur more frequently in those with liver cirrhosis and kidney *** is a specific form of cardiac dysfunction characterized by blunted contractile responsiveness to stress stimuli and altered diastolic relaxation with electrophysiological *** the clinical description of these potential cardiac-related complications of the liver,the role of the heart has traditionally been an overlooked aspect of circulatory dysfunction in *** from a physiological sense,temporality(prior onset)of cardiorenal interactions in HRS and positive effects stemming from portosystemic shunting demonstrated an important role of the heart in the development and progression of kidney dysfunction in cirrhotic *** this review,we discuss current concepts surrounding how the heart may influence the development and progression of HRS,and the role of systemic inflammation and endothelial dysfunction causing circulatory dysfunction within this *** temporality of heart and kidney dysfunction in HRS will be *** a subgroup of patients who receive portosystemic shunting,the dynamics of cardiorenal interactions following treatment is *** research to determine the unknowns in this topic is anticipated,hopefully to further clarify the intricacies surrounding the liver-heart-kidney connection and improve strategies for management.

Myocarditis is a disease process that every emergency physician fears *** severity can be mild to life-threatening,and many cases are likely undetected because they are subclinical with nonspecifi c signs.[1]Subtle cardiac signs may be overshadowed by systemic symptoms of the underlying infectious ***,myalgias,lethargy,symptoms commonly associated with viral syndrome,can mask the life-threatening myocarditis that may be *** fact,in the United States Myocarditis Treatment Trial,almost 90%of patients reported symptoms consistent with a viral prodrome.[2]Ammirati et al[3]reported that 27%of patients with myocarditis had either reduced left ventricular ejection fraction,ventricular arrhythmias,or low cardiac ***,we present a case report,in which handheld point-of-care ultrasound was utilized at the bedside to aid in the critical diagnosis of *** the additional information provided through this imaging modality,this patient was able to be transferred to the appropriate tertiary care facility in an expeditious manner and receive possible defi nitive treatment.

目的了解激光对黑素细胞潜在恶变作用的可能性。方法QSAlex755nm激光体外照射HTB66、Sk-mel-24和G3613种黑素瘤细胞株,照射剂量为0.85～2J/cm2,24h后收集细胞。应用流式细胞仪和RT-PCR方法分别测定p16INK4a蛋白和p16INK4amRNA在激光照射前后和不同剂量照射后的表达水平。结果激光照射后,HTB66细胞株(p16INK4a蛋白阳性株)的p16INK4a蛋白表达明显增加;而低水平表达的Sk-mel-24和G361细胞株无明显变化。在HTB66细胞株中虽然p16INK4a蛋白的表达上调,但对其功能的测定发现它并不能阻止细胞周期从G0/G1向S/G2M转变。HTB66细胞株的p16INK4amRNA的表达也增加。结论经研究剂量的激光照射后DNA有损伤。具有黑素瘤家族史或个人史的患者可能有p16INK4a基因的突变或丢失,不提倡用激光治疗此类患者的色素性疾病。

Moirésuperlattices,arising from the controlled twisting of van der Waals homostructures at specific angles,have emerged as a promising platform for quantum emission ***,the manipulation of strain provides a versatile strategy to finely adjust electronic band structures,enhance exciton luminescence efficiency,and establish a robust foundation for two-dimensional quantum light ***,the intricate interplay between strain and moirépotential remains partially ***,we introduce a meticulously designed fusion of strain engineering and the twisted 2L-WSe_(2)/2L-WSe_(2) homobilayers,resulting in the precise localization of moiré*** low-temperature photoluminescence spectroscopy,we unveil the emergence of highly localized moiré-enhanced emission,characterized by the presence of multiple distinct emission ***,our investigation demonstrates the effective regulation of moirépotential depths through strain engineering,with the potential depths of strained and unstrained regions differing by 91%.By combining both experimental and theoretical approaches,our study elucidates the complex relationship between strain and moirépotential,thereby opening avenues for generating strain-induced moiréexciton single-photon sources.
