Kidney transplantation is the best available treatment for patients with end stage renal disease. Despite the introduction of effective immunosuppressant drugs, episodes of acute allograft rejection still endanger graft survival. Since efficient treatment of acute rejection is available, rapid diagnosis of this reversible graft injury is essential. For diagnosis of rejection, invasive core needle biopsy of the graft is the "gold-standard". However, biopsy carries the risk of significant graft injury and is not immediately feasible in patients taking anticoagulants. Therefore, a non-invasive tool assessing the whole organ for specific and fast detection of acute allograft rejection is desirable. We herein review current imaging-based state of the art approaches for non-invasive diagnostics of acute renal transplant rejection. We especially focus on new positron emission tomography-based as well as targeted ultrasoundbased methods.

Ammonia(NH3)production via the electrochemical nitrogen reduction reaction(NRR)is a promising method for sustainable generation of this important *** are ongoing in finding an efficient,stable,and selective catalyst that will enable the ***,progress is hindered in the field due to lack of reproducibility,most likely a consequence of reports of false-positive results due to improper measurement control and *** this study,we explore the NRR activity of a promising class of single atom catalysts,transition metal-nitrogen-carbon(M-N-C)*** a state-of-the-art in-line ammonia quantification methodology,with detection limit as low as 1 ppb for ammonia,we show that single atom Nb and Fe embedded in a stable carbon and nitrogen framework do not electrochemically reduce N_(2) to NH_(3).Critically,this demonstrates that our experimental setup with in-line sequential injection analysis successfully excludes ammonia contamination from the gas supply and atmospheric sources,allowing for thorough and high-throughput examination of potential NRR catalysts.

目的旨在通过系统综述,确定针对复杂慢性病患者增强自我管理的干预措施,以改善慢性呼吸困难,为护理人员促进该类人群的自我管理提供依据。方法2023年12月,系统检索Medline、Scopus、Web of Science、CINAHL、Cochrane图书馆和乔安娜布里格斯研究所(Joanna Briggs Institute,JBI)循证实践数据库。对纳入研究进行数据提取和综合,研究人员采用Rayyan文献管理软件筛选标题及摘要,并依据JBI研究质量评估工具进行方法学质量评估。结果共纳入18项研究。这些研究探讨了针对慢性呼吸困难的各种干预措施,包括药物干预(氧气疗法和吸入疗法)和非药物方法(教育计划、呼吸练习、液体摄入管理、身体感知技术、同伴支持、情商培训和网络应用程序的使用)。这些干预措施减轻了患者情绪困扰,可以使患者在自我管理方面变得独立自主。结论促进复杂慢性病患者对慢性呼吸困难的自我管理需要采取综合方法,但目前研究中没有充分考虑到针对患者行为改变的干预措施,需要进一步开展相关研究完善干预措施。

european cropping systems are often characterized by short rotations or even monocropping,leading to environmental issues such as soil degradation,water eutrophication,and air pollution including greenhouse gas emissions,that contribute to climate change and biodiversity *** use of diversification practices(i.e.,intercropping,multiple cropping including cover cropping and rotation extension),may help enhance agrobiodiversity and deliver ecosystem services while developing new value *** its benefits,crop diversification is hindered by various technical,organizational,and institutional barriers along value chains(input industries,farms,trading and processing industries,retailers,and consumers)and within sociotechnical systems(policy,research,education,regulation and advisory).Six eU-funded research projects have joined forces to boost crop diversification by creating the european Crop Diversification Cluster(CDC).This Cluster aggregates research,innovation,commercial and citizen-focused partnerships to identify and remove barriers across the agrifood system and thus enables the uptake of diversification measures by all european value-chain *** CDC will produce a typology of barriers,develop tools to accompany actors in their transition,harmonize the use of multicriteria assessment indicators,prepare policy recommendations and pave the way for a long-term network on crop diversification.

The mechanisms by which oligotrophic and eutrophic lakes rid itself of escherichia coli or faecal coliforms are still not clearly understood. This study sought to review the various means by which e. coli or faecal coliforms are inactivated or removed in lakes. The review cited temperature, solar radiation, predation, starvation, attachment and sedimentation as key factors that aid the removal of e. coli in lakes. In eutrophic lakes additional factors such as the role of algal biomass may play a role due to increased pH and dissolved oxygen levels attributed to algal presence. Algal toxins or exudates may also play a role although this is still under debate. The interactive effect of two or more of these factors on e. coli inactivation and the relative importance of these mechanisms on e. coli removal are still not known. Areas for further research include the role of algae in sedimenting e. coli or faecal coliforms and the possible role of algal exudates on e. coli inactivation.

AIM:To assess linear endoscopic ultrasound (L-eUS) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in biliary tract dilation and suspect small ampullary ***:L-eUS and MRI data were compared in 24 patients with small ampullary tumors;all with subsequent histological *** were collected prospectively and the accuracy of detection,histological characterization and N staging were assessed retrospectivelyusing the results of surgical or endoscopic treatment as a ***:A suspicion of ampullary tumor was present in 75% of MRI and all L-eUS examinations,with 80% agreement between eUS and histological findings at ***,L-eUS and histological TN staging at surgery showed moderate agreement (κ=0.54).CONCLUSION:L-eUS could be a useful adjunct as a diagnostic tool in the evaluation of patients with sus-pected ampullary tumors.
