Objective:To eva.ua.e va.cula. endothelia. growth fa.tor(VEGF)levels in hepa.ocellula. ca.cinoma.pa.ients before a.d a.ter tra.sca.heter a.teria. chemoemboliza.ion(Ta.E)a.d percuta.eous etha.ol injection(PEI)a.d its rela.ion to trea.ment ***:a.tota. of 40 pa.ients with unrespecta.le hepa.ocellua. ca.cinoma.were a.sessed *** pa.ients were suita.le to be trea.ed by Ta.E,while other 20pa.ients were trea.ed with *** VEGF levels were mea.ured before a.d 1 month a.ter ea.h procedure by *** wa. a.sessed a.ter 1 month a.cording to Union Interna.iona.e Contre le Ca.cer eva.ua.ion criteria.ba.ed on cha.ge in tumor size a. mea.ured by ***:There wa. no significa.t difference between Ta.E a.d PEI groups with rega.d to a.e,sex,tumor size,response to loca. thera.y,or VEGF a.d a.pha.fetoprotein before a.d a.ter *** levels a.ter Ta.E were significa.tly higher tha. before Ta.E[(298.1±123.6)pg/m L vs.(205.8±307.3)pg/m L;P=0.001].a.so,VEGF levels were significa.tly higher a.ter PEI tha. before PEI[(333.8±365.6)pg/m L vs.(245.3±301.8)pg/m L;P=0.000].Non-responders of both groups ha. significa.tly high VEGF levels tha. responder's,both before[(985.0±113.2)pg/m L vs.(117.1±75.3)pg/m L;Pa.d a.ter thera.y[(1 330.6±495.7)pg/m L vs.(171.0±94.7)pg/m L;P=0.000)].Conclusions:Both Ta.E a.d PEI were a.socia.ed with a. increa.e in serum VEGF in hepa.ocellua. ca.cinoma.*** levels of VEGF before a.d a.ter thera.y were found in non-responders,suggesting tha. VEGF is a.useful ma.ker in predicting trea.ment response.

Objective: The tra.itiona. a.proa.h for a.id ba.e interpreta.ion is ba.ed on Ha.derson-Ha.selba.ch formula.a.d includes Ba.e Excess (BE), bica.bona.e (HCO3), a.bumin corrected a.ion ga.. The Physicochemica. a.proa.h is centered on the Ca.bon Dioxide tension (PCO2), the strong ion difference (SID), strong ion ga. (SIG) = SID a.pa.ent-SID effective a.d tota.ly wea. a.ids (a.ot). The study a.ms to compa.e between the tra.itiona. a.proa.h a.d the physicochemica. a.proa.h in a.id ba.e disorder interpreta.ion. Design: Prospective observa.iona. study in a. a.ult Intensive Ca.e Unit (ICU) recruiting six hundred a.d sixty one pa.ients. Methods: a.teria. blood sa.ples were a.a.yzed to mea.ure pH, Pa.O2 sodium, pota.sium, chloride a.d la.ta.e. Venous blood sa.ples were a.a.yzed to mea.ure ionized ca.cium, ma.nesium, phosphorous a.d a.bumin. These sa.ples were interpreted by both techniques. Results: Norma. HCO3 a.d BE were detected by tra.itiona. a.proa.h in 49 ca.es of which SIG a.idosis wa. detected in 22 ca.es (46%) a.d Hyperchloremic a.idosis wa. detected in 29 ca.es (60%) by physicochemica. method. SIG wa. eleva.ed in 72 ca.es (58%) of 124 ca.es with high a.ion ga. a.idosis. SIDeff a.d BE were strongly correla.ed, r = 0.8, p 0.0001, while SIG a.d a.bumin corrected a.ion Ga. (a.a.) were modera.ely correla.ed r = 0.56, p Conclusion: Both a.proa.hes a.e importa.t for interpreta.ion of the a.id ba.e sta.us. Tra.itiona. a.proa.h identifies the dia.nostic description without ma.y ca.cula.ions a.d detects body compensa.ory response to a.id ba.e disorders. Physicochemica. a.proa.h is essentia. to identify the exa.t ca.sa.ion a.d the severity of the a.id ba.e disorders.

Softwa.e Product Line(SPL)is a.group of softwa.e-intensive systems tha. sha.e common a.d va.ia.le resources for developing a.pa.ticula. *** fea.ure model is a.tree-type structure used to ma.a.e SPL’s common a.d va.ia.le fea.ures with their different rela.ions a.d problem of Crosstree Constra.nts(CTC).CTC problems exist in groups of common a.d va.ia.le fea.ures a.ong the sub-tree of fea.ure models more diverse in Internet of Things(IoT)devices beca.se different Internet devices a.d protocols a.e ***,ma.a.ing the CTC problem to a.hieve va.id product configura.ion in IoT-ba.ed SPL is more complex,time-consuming,a.d ***,the CTC problem needs to be considered in previously proposed a.proa.hes such a. Commona.ity Va.ia.ilityModeling of Fea.ures(COVa.OF)a.dGena.ch+tool;therefore,inva.id products a.e *** resea.ch ha. proposed a.novel a.proa.h Bina.y Oriented Fea.ure Selection Crosstree Constra.nts(BOFS-CTC),to find a.l possible va.id products by selecting the fea.ures a.cording to ca.dina.ity constra.nts a.d cross-tree constra.nt problems in the fea.uremodel of ***-CTC removes the inva.id products a. the ea.ly sta.e of fea.ure selection for the product ***,this resea.ch developed the BOFS-CTC a.gorithm a.d a.plied it to,IoT-ba.ed fea.ure *** findings of this resea.ch a.e tha. no rela.ionship constra.nts a.d CTC viola.ions occur a.d drive the va.id fea.ure product configura.ions for the a.plica.ion development by removing the inva.id product *** a.cura.y of BOFS-CTC is mea.ured by the integra.ion sa.pling technique,where different va.id product configura.ions a.e compa.ed with the product configura.ions derived by BOFS-CTC a.d found 100%*** BOFS-CTC elimina.es the testing cost a.d development effort of inva.id SPL products.

a.m: Recently, there is a. increa.ed a.era.e of developing ca.cers. Though, the chemothera.eutic-trea.ment is unfa.ora.le during pregna.cy due to its ha.mful effects on developing fetuses, physicia.s ha.e two wa.s to minimize these effects either by termina.ion of the pregna.cy or minimizing its side effects. The present work a.med to illustra.e the susceptibility of ca.dia., lung a.d dorsa. a.rta.function to the widely a.plica.le drugs doxorubicin a.d cispla.in a. well a. 5-fluroura.il. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: Mother a.bino ra.s were a.ra.ged into four-groups (control, doxorubicin, cispla.in a.d 5-fluroura.il-trea.ed groups). Ea.h pregna.t ra. received intra.eritonea. a.ministra.ion of 0.2 mg/kg body weight a. 10th a.d 14th da. of gesta.ion a.d sa.rificed a. pa.turition (two doses). a. pa.turition, serum of mother ra.s used to a.sess troponin I, hea. shock protein 70, 8-hydroxydeoxygua.osine, va.cula. endothelia. growth fa.tor a.d a.hesion molecules (ICa.-1 & VCa.-1). Isoenzyme electrophoresis of a.ka.ine a.d a.id phospha.a.es, glucose-6-phospha.e dehydrogena.e a.d la.tic dehydrogena.e were estima.ed in serum, myoca.dium a.d dorsa. a.rta.of mother ra.s. The myoca.dium a.d lung were processed for histopa.hologica. investiga.ions for both mothers a.d their offspring. Single stra.d (comet a.sa.) a.d double stra.d DNa.da.a.e were ca.ried out in hea.t a.d dorsa. a.rta.of mother ra.s. Results: The present finding revea.ed tha. there a.e detected a.tera.ions of myoca.dia. ma.kers a.d lung a.ino a.id meta.olism a. well a. disruption of myoca.dia. isoenzymes. DNa.da.a.e of myoca.dium a.d dorsa. a.rta.were observed. Conclusions: The a.thors concluded tha. the meta.olic a.tivity of hea.t a.d lung is highly susceptible to doxorubicin a.d cispla.in trea.ment compa.ed to 5-fluroura.il a.d the thera.eutic doses must be degra.ed.

The effect of repla.ing ca.mium a.d boron oxides by iron oxide ha. been a.a.yzed which proved tha. iron is more efficient tha. ca.mium in a.tenua.ing a.d removing fa.t neutrons a.d tha. the presence of sma.l a.ounts of B2O3 a. lea.t 0.1 mole fra.tion, with iron is needed to a.d improving the remova. cross-section of iron phospha.e gla.ses. Purpose: Chronic hepa.itis B virus infection a.fects more tha. 3 million people worldwide. The present study a.med to eva.ua.e the role of pretrea.ment fa.tor IV colla.en a. predictor of post trea.ment virologica. response with hepa.ic fibrosis regression. Ma.eria.s a.d Methods: This prospective cohort study ha. been conducted on 74 na.eve pa.ients with chronic HBV infection with va.ia.le degree of hepa.ic fibrosis (F2, F3, ≥F4), vira. loa., a.d va.ia.le degree of a.norma.ity in la.ora.ory pa.a.eters of liver functions. a.l pa.ients trea.ed with Enteca.ir 0.5 mg/da. or 1 mg/da. a.cording to severity of hepa.ic condition for 1 yea.. Liver fibrosis a.sessed using fibrosca., fa.tor IV colla.en, (a.RI) a.d (FIB-4) scores eva.ua.ion. Results: a.l included pa.ients in our study a.hieve post trea.ment Virologica. response with undetecta.le HBV DNa.PCR ( Conclusion: Low pretrea.ment fa.tor IV colla.en is significa.tly correla.ed with virologia. response a.d hepa.ic fibrosis regression post Enteca.ir thera.y in pa.ients with chronic HBV infection.

Qua.ity of life (QOL) is a. importa.t topic in socia. a.d medica. sciences, it ha. a.multidimensiona. na.ure a.d is influenced by ma.y fa.tors. a.m of the Work: In this study we wa.t to a.sess the impa.t of cognitive impa.rment on the hea.th rela.ed qua.ity of life (HR-QOL) of community dwelling non demented elderly. Subject a.d Method: 115 non demented elderly, 60 yea.s a.d older recruited from outpa.ient geria.ric clinic a. a. Ma.soura.Genera. Hospita., Da.a.lia. Egypt. Ea.h pa.ticipa.t underwent, comprehensive geria.ric a.sessment, a.sessing cognitive function using the mini-menta. sta.e exa.ina.ion (MMSE) a.d montrea. cognitive function test, a.sessing the hea.th rela.ed qua.ity of life (HR-QOL) by the Ra.D-36 hea.th survey. Results: We found tha. the elderly with impa.red cognition by both MMSE a.d Montrea. test were significa.tly older;the ones with lower educa.ion, with more depressive symptoms, ha. more functiona. impa.rment a.d ha. lower HR-QOL scores tha. the elderly with norma. cognitive function, a.ter controlling for confounders still cognition wa. a.determina.t of HR-QOL. a.so by linea. correla.ion coefficient a.significa.t correla.ion between HR-QOL a.d a.e, function, cognition a.d depression wa. found. Conclusion: Cognition a.fects significa.tly HR-QOL of the elderly, so we ca. sa. tha. interventions ta.geting cognition in the elderly ca. significa.tly improve their QOL.

a.m: Wilms tumor (WT) is the most frequent type of pedia.ric rena. tumors. Her/2 is a. oncoprotein, its over-expression revea.ed to pla. a.very vita. role in the progress a.d improvement of certa.n tumors. This study eva.ua.es the possible role of Her/2 a. a.prognostic indica.or in formerly trea.ed WT. Method: Immunohistochemica. expression of Her/2 wa. studied in pa.a.fin ma.eria. of 40 WT pa.ients followed SIOP 9 protocol. Pa.ients’ medica. records reviewed for clinica., pa.hologica. a.d outcome da.a.a.d correla.ed with HER2 expression. a.ditiona. 15 sa.ples of norma. surrounding kidney tissue specimens were included. Results: Her/2 wa. often expressed in norma. kidney tissue (rena. tubules but not glomeruli) a.d a. va.ia.le levels in the three elements of WT. a. a.media. of 84 months, 70% of pa.ients a.e living a.d under follow-up, surgica. sta.e a.d pa.hologic subtypes were the only two fa.tors significa.tly a.fect the outcome of our pa.ients (p = 0.000, p = 0.007 & p = 0.004, p = 0.005 for OS (Overa.l surviva.) a.d DFS (Disea.e Free surviva.) respectively). Her/2 expression wa. a.socia.ed with epithelia. differentia.ion (p a. non-significa.t effect of Her/2 expression on OS or DFS of studied group. Conclusion: while the ma.or progress in studying biology of WT, sta.e a.d pa.hologica. subtype continues the only predictive fa.tors of significa.t va.ue a.fecting the outcome of pa.ients with WT. There wa. importa.t a.socia.ion between Her/2 expression a.d histologica. differentia.ion in formerly trea.ed Wilms tumor. Non-conclusive results rega.ding influence of Her/2 expression on the result of WT pa.ients were found.
