The GDSL esterase/lipase family contains many functional genes that perform important biological functions in growth and development, morphogenesis, seed oil synthesis, and defense responses in plants. The expression of GDSL esterase/lipase genes can respond to biotic and abiotic stresses. Although GDSL esterase/lipase family genes have been identified and studied in other plants, they have not been identified and their functions remain unclear in tomato. This study is the first to identify 80 GDSL esterase/lipase family genes in tomato, which were named SlGELP1–80. These genes were mapped to their positions on the chromosomes and their physical and chemical properties, gene structure, phylogenetic relationships, collinear relationships, and cis-acting elements were analyzed. The spatiotemporal expression characteristics of the Sl GELP genes in tomato were diverse. In addition, RNA-seq analysis indicated that the expression patterns of the SlGELP genes in tomato differed before and after inoculation with Stemphylium lycopersici. qRT-PCR was used to analyze the expression of five Sl GELP genes after treatments with S. lycopersici, salicylic acid and jasmonic acid. Finally, this study was the first to identify and analyze GDSL esterase/lipase family genes in tomato via bioinformatics approaches, and these findings provide new insights for improving the study of plant disease resistance.

The dusty torus plays a vital role in unifying active galactic nuclei(AGNs).However,the physical structure of the torus remains largely *** we present a systematical investigation of the torus mid-infrared(MIR)spectroscopic feature,i.e.,the 9.7μm silicate line,of 175 AGNs selected from the Swift/BAT Spectroscopic Survey(BASS).Our sample is constructed to ensure that each of the 175 AGNs has Spizter/IRS MIR,optical,and X-ray spectroscopic ***,we can simultaneously measure the silicate strength,optical emission lines,and X-ray properties(e.g.,the column density and the intrinsic X-ray luminosity).We show that,consistent with previous works,the silicate strength is weakly correlated with the hydrogen column density(N_H^X),albeit with large *** X-ray unobscured AGNs,the silicate-strength-derived V-band extinction and the broad-Hα-inferred one are both small;however,for X-ray obscured AGNs,the former is much larger than the *** addition,we find that the optical type1 AGNs with strong X-ray absorption on average show significant silicate absorption,indicating that their X-ray absorption might not be caused by dust-free gas in the broad-line *** results suggest that the distribution and structure of the obscuring dusty torus are likely to be very *** test our results against the smooth and clumpy torus models and find evidence in favor of the clumpy torus model.

The solubility of 2,3,4-trichloro-1,5-dinitrobenzene(TCDNB) was measured by a laser dynamic method over the temperature range from 278.15 K to 323.15 K under 0.1 MPa in fifteen mono-solvents(methanol,ethanol,isopropanol,n-butanol,toluene,dichloromethane,chloroform,tetrachloromethane,1,2-dichloroethane,acetone,ethyl acetate,acetonitrile,N-methylpyrrolidone(NMP),N,Ndimethylformamide dimethyl sulfoxide(DMF),dimethyl sulfoxide(DMSO).The solubility of TCDNB could be increased with increasing temperature in fifteen *** solubility is in the following order at 298.15 K:NMP>DMF>DMSO>toluene>acetone>ethyl acetate>dichloromethane>1,2-dich loroethane>chloroform>acetonitrile>tetrachloromethane>methanol>ethanol>n-butanol>*** KAT-LSER model was used to investigate the solvent effect,which revealed that the hydrogen bond acidity of solvents has a greater effect on TCDNB *** van't Hoff model,the modified Apelblat model,theλh model,and the non-random two liquid(NRTL)model were used to correlate the solubility of *** calculated solubility data agreed well with the experimental data,and the modified Apelblat model fit ***,the van't Hoff and Gibbs equations were also used to calculate the dissolution thermodynamic properties of TCDNB in various *** dissolution could be an enthalpy-driven,non-spontaneous,and endothermic process in fifteen *** determination and fitting solubility of TCDNB,as well as the calculation of its thermodynamic properties,would be critical in the purification and crystallization of its preparation process research.

Landslides Triggered by the 2020 Qiaojia M_(w)5.1 Earthquake, Yunnan, China: Distribution, Influence Factors and Tectonic Significance

On May 18, 2020, an M_(w)5.1 earthquake occurred in Qiaojia County, Yunnan Province, China. This moderate-sized event triggered massive coseismic landslides, resulting in some damage. In this work, through visual interpretation of high-resolution(0.8–2 m) Gaofen satellite images before and after the earthquake, 167 landslides were delineated, 18 of which were inspected in the field. Using the landslide number density(LND) and landslide area percentage(LAP), we characterized the spatial distribution of these landslides, and analyzed their possible influence factors and tectonic significance. The results show that these landslides are distributed mostly in the NW-SE direction, roughly parallel to the long axis of seismic intensity zones and the strike of the Xiaohe-Baogunao fault(XBF). The LND and LAP decrease with increasing distances to the fault and from the epicenter to fault ends of the XBF. These permit to suggest that the seismogenic fault of the Qiaojia earthquake is likely a hidden branch of the XBF. All of the landslides induced by this event occurred in the region with the seismic intensity of six degrees or greater of the 2014 M_(w)6.2 Ludian earthquake. Therefore, it was inferred that the 2020 Qiaojia earthquake was probably the subsequent release of accumulated elastic strain after the 2014 Ludian earthquake in a same tectonic stress regime.

Effect of background parabolic current on characteristics and energetics of internal solitary waves by numerical simulation

Based on modifications of the observed background parabolic current in upper layer of the northeastern South China Sea （SCS）, the effects of eight kinds of background currents on the characteristics and energy conversion of internal solitary waves （ISWs） are investigated by an Internal Gravity Wave （IGW） model. It is found that, although the background current has little effect on the number of the generated ISWs, it reduces the resulted phase speed of ISW. When the background parabolic current appears with its lower boundary near or above the main thermocline, the ISW amplitude and the depth of the isopycnal undergoing maximum displacement increase; when the background parabolic current curvature is reduced, the ISW amplitude and the ratio of baroclinic to barotropic energy reduce, whilst the phase speed of ISW, the baroclinic energy, and the ratio of baroclinic kinetic energy （KE） to available potential energy （APE） increase; when the lower boundary of background parabolic current extends down to the seabed and the background current curvature is reduced, the ISW amplitude and phase speed decrease, whilst the barotropic kinetic energy, the baroclinic energy and the ratio of KE to APE increase. At a whole depth, when the lower background current curvature is reduced and the upper current curvature is increased, the ISW amplitude, and phase speed, the ratio of baroclinic to barotropic energy, the baroclinic energy, and the ratio of KE to APE all increase.
