Lateral displacement due to liquefaction(D_(H))is the most destructive effect of earthquakes in saturated loose or semi-loose sandy *** all earthquake parameters,the standardized cumulative absolute velocity(CAV_(5))exhibits the largest correlation with increasing pore water pressure and ***,the complex effect of fine content(FC)at different values has been studied and ***,these two contexts have not been entered into empirical and semi-empirical models to predict D_(H)This study bridges this gap by adding CAV_(5)to the data set and developing two artificial neural network(ANN)*** first model is based on the entire range of the parameters,whereas the second model is based on the samples with FC values that are less than the 28%critical *** results demonstrate the higher accuracy of the second model that is developed even with less ***,according to the uncertainties in the geotechnical and earthquake parameters,sensitivity analysis was performed via Monte Carlo simulation(MCS)using the second developed ANN model that exhibited higher *** results demonstrated the significant influence of the uncertainties of earthquake parameters on predicting D_(H).

通过外部预应力钢筋施加预应力是强化钢结构及控制整体变形的有效技术之一，这项技术可应用于新型结构及现有结构的修复。本文将利用三维非线性有限元分析研究预应力简支工字钢梁（通过外部无粘结预应力钢筋施加预应力）的结构响应及预应力效应对抗弯性能的影响，同时利用ANSYS对预应力施加过程进行有限元的分析与模拟。钢材的力学性能用双线性各向同性塑性模型模拟，其收敛准则为牛顿法。梁跨度1/1000的初始缺陷及空载梁的屈曲模态二者作为初始条件研究其对结构性能的影响。由于外部预应力钢筋张拉过程及模型坐标位置的影响，上下翼缘在施加预应力后需考虑“侧向约束”效应。本文由两大部分组成，第一部分为模型与现有试验结果的验证分析，结果证明利用ANSYS进行的预应力钢梁有限元分析结果与试验结果符合较好。第二部分为简支工字钢预应力梁的参数分析，该部分将分析五个因素对30米跨预应力梁整体性能的影响，这五个因素分别为致偏装置的数量、外部预应力钢筋的偏心、预应力技术、钢筋形状、荷载类型等。在每次分析中，采用改变其中一种因素而其他因素保持不变的方法来研究该种因素对梁整体性能的影响。

Object tracking is one of the major tasks for mobile robots in many real-world ***,artificial intelligence and automatic control techniques play an important role in enhancing the performance of mobile robot *** contrast to previous simulation studies,this paper presents a new intelligent mobile robot for accomplishing multi-tasks by tracking red-green-blue(RGB)colored objects in a real experimental ***,a practical smart controller is developed based on adaptive fuzzy logic and custom proportional-integral-derivative(PID)schemes to achieve accurate tracking results,considering robot command delay and tolerance *** design of developed controllers implies some motion rules to mimic the knowledge of experienced *** scenarios of three colored object combinations have been successfully tested and evaluated by using the developed controlled image-based robot *** PID control failed to handle some tracking scenarios in this *** proposed adaptive fuzzy PID control achieved the best accurate results with the minimum average final error of 13.8 cm to reach the colored targets,while our designed custom PID control is efficient in saving both average time and traveling distance of 6.6 s and 14.3 cm,*** promising results demonstrate the feasibility of applying our developed image-based robotic system in a colored object-tracking environment to reduce human workloads.

Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs)are ubiquitous environmental contaminants of growing concern due to their potential ecological and human health *** study presents a comprehensive assessment of PAHs contamination in the surface sediments of Burullus Lake,a vital and second largest delta lake in *** aim was to evaluate the eco-toxicity and potential health risks associated with the presence of these *** seven sediment samples were collected from various drains in the southern part of Burullus *** extraction method was employed to extract PAHs(16PAHs)from the sediment ***,target compounds were located using *** results showed that samples contained PAHs levels ranging from 0.038×10^(-6)to 0.459×10^(-6),which is considered heavily polluted by the European standard for PAHs ***,there was no apparent source of PAHs in the ElKhashah drain or the Brinbal Canal,as HPLC found none of the *** most prevalent compound in sediment samples along the study area was *** diagnostic indices in the present study indicated that the hydrocarbons in the region originated from pyrolytic and man-made sources along the drains of Burullus *** principal component analysis(PCA)and diagnostic ratios revealed that coal combustion and pyrolytic sources were responsible for the PAHs contamination in the surface *** non-carcinogenic risk(HI),which is the product of the HQs for the adult and child populations,respectively,was *** values under 1,therefore,demonstrated that they had no carcinogenic effects on human *** and MEQs in the sediments of Burullus Lake do not have a cancer-causing impact on *** the safety of nearby wildlife,aquatic life,and people,all activities that raise petroleum hydrocarbon levels in Burullus Lake must be adequately regulated and *** to the ecological risk assessment,there is little chance that PAHs will be found

Falling is among the most harmful events older adults may *** the continuous growth of the aging population in many societies,developing effective fall detection mechanisms empowered by machine learning technologies and easily integrable with existing healthcare systems becomes *** paper presents a new healthcare Internet of Health Things(IoHT)architecture built around an ensemble machine learning-based fall detection system(FDS)for older *** to deep neural networks,the ensemble multi-stage random forest model allows the extraction of an optimal subset of fall detection features with minimal *** number of cascaded random forest stages is automatically *** study uses a public dataset of fall detection samples called SmartFall to validate the developed fall detection *** SmartFall dataset is collected based on the acquired measurements of the three-axis accelerometer in a *** scenario in this dataset is classified and labeled as a fall or a *** comparison to the three machine learning models—K-nearest neighbors(KNN),decision tree(DT),and standard random forest(SRF),the proposed ensemble classifier outperformed the other models and achieved 98.4%*** developed healthcare IoHT framework can be realized for detecting fall accidents of older people by taking security and privacy concerns into account in future work.

Objective:To evaluate three flowers of Hibiscus rosa-sinensis(***-sinensis),Quisqualis indica(***) and Senna surattensis(***) for their antioxidant activity by different methods in addition to total phenolic,flavonoid and pigment ***:Antioxidant activity of water,ethanol and absolute ethanol extracts of three flowers; ***-sinensis,*** and *** was *** antioxidant activity was assessed by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl free radical scavenging activity,ferrous chelating activity,reducing power,nitric oxide scavenging activity,hydroxyl radical scavenging activity as well as total antioxidant *** flavonoids,total phenols and total pigments including chlorophylls and carotenoids were measured for the three ***:The results showed that the highest total antioxidant capacity at concentration of 500 mg/L was found in *** as 0.479 ± *** activity of ***,*** and *** flower extracts against 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical showed the highest activity of(90.20 ± 0.29)% with 500 mg/*** screening of the three flowers extracts were carried out for alkaloids,flavonoids,saponins,tannins,steroids,glycosides,terpenoids,amino acid and ***-sinensis showed the total phenolic in water extract of(235.77 ± 14.31) mg/100 g,the other two flowers *** and *** had the total phenolic in ethanol extracts of(937.70 ± 25.06) and(850.30 ± 13.81) mg/100 g,*** the other hand total flavonoids were identified in absolute ethanol extracts in the three flowers[(32.83 ± 1.34),(49.24 ± 4.87) and(2.79 ± 0.23) mg/100 g,respectively].Conclusions:The extracts in the constituents of the three flowers could be used as additives as supplement fractions in foods.

This article introduces a new medical internet of things(IoT)framework for intelligent fall detection system of senior people based on our proposed deep forest *** cascade multi-layer structure of deep forest classifier allows to generate new features at each level with minimal hyperparameters compared to deep neural ***,the optimal number of the deep forest layers is automatically estimated based on the early stopping criteria of validation accuracy value at each generated *** suggested forest classifier was successfully tested and evaluated using a public SmartFall dataset,which is acquired from three-axis accelerometer in a *** includes 92781 training samples and 91025 testing samples with two labeled classes,namely non-fall and *** results of our deep forest classifier demonstrated a superior performance with the best accuracy score of 98.0%compared to three machine learning models,i.e.,K-nearest neighbors,decision trees and traditional random forest,and two deep learning models,which are dense neural networks and convolutional neural *** considering security and privacy aspects in the future work,our proposed medical IoT framework for fall detection of old people is valid for real-time healthcare application deployment.

AIM： To evaluate the safety and efficacy of posterior sub-Tenon＇s carboplatin injection compared to intravitreal melphalan injection in the management of retinoblastoma （RB） with secondary vitreous seeds. The outcome measures were vitreous seeds regression, need for other treatment modalities to achieve ocular salvage and treatment side effects. METHODS： A prospective interventional comparative nonrandomized study included RB eyes developed secondary vitreous seeds during the period of follow up. They subdivided into two groups： study group Ⅰ where posterior sub-Tenon＇s carboplatin （20 mg/2 mL） was injected and study group Ⅱ where intravitreal melphalan （20 μg/0.1 mL） was injected. The injections repeated every 2-4wk. RESULTS： Thirty-three eyes were included in the study. Seventeen eyes （16 patients） in study group Ⅰ and 16 eyes （16 patients） in study group Ⅱ. Ten eyes （30.3%） were completely salvaged following local chemotherapies, Ocular salvage was 23.5% following posterior sub-Tenon＇s carboplatin injection versus 37.5% following intravitreal melphalan raised to 47.1% and 75% with addition of external beam radiotherapy （EBR） with no statistically significant difference between the study groups （P=0.16）. A statistically significant correlation was found between ocular salvage rate and type of vitreous seeds either dust, spheres and clouds （r=0.42, P=-0.015） and eyes harbor new solid tumor growth （r=0.35, P=0.045）. The mean and median follow up periods following local chemotherapy injections were 2.0y in the study group Ⅰand 2.37y in the study group Ⅱ. Few complications were reported： periorbital edema in all eyes and ocular motility disturbances in 13 eyes （76.5%） following posterior sub-Tenon＇s carboplatin injection. Vitreous hemorrhage developed in 2 eyes （12.5%） and localized retinopathy in 5 eyes （31.25%） following intravitreal melphalan. ~ CONCLUSION： Local chemotherapy for treatment of RB with secondary vitreous seeds is safe and can salvage 30.3% of eyes

Web service(WS)presents a good solution to the interoperability of different types of systems that aims to reduce the overhead of high processing in a resource-limited *** the increasing demand for mobile WS(MWS),the WS discovery process has become a significant challenging point in the WS lifecycle that aims to identify the relevant MWSs that best match the service *** discovery process is a resource-consuming task that cannot be performed efficiently in a mobile computing environment due to the limitations of mobile ***,a cloud computing can provide rich computing resources for mobile environments given its unlimited and easily scalable *** paper proposes a semantic WS discovery and invocation framework in mobile environments based on cloud and a relationship-aware matchmaking *** discovery algorithm enriches MWS and user requests semantically with the functional and non-functional properties of Ontology Web Language for Services,such as Quality of Web Service,device context,and user *** WS repository is filtered based on logical reasoning and a parameter-based matching algorithm to minimize the matching space and improve runtime *** cosine similarity between the user request and services repository is then assessed to generate the most relevant *** relationships among concepts in the ontology are considered to improve the recall and precision *** the WS discovery process,users can invoke and test these services in a mobile environment through a dynamic user *** interface of the invocation process is changed according to the WS description *** application prototype is also developed to evaluate the framework based on a Cordova cross-mobile development framework.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)provide a reliable and energyefficient solution for data collection from the Narrowband Internet of Things(NB-IoT)***,the UAV’s deployment optimization,including locations of the UAV’s stop points,is a necessity to minimize the energy consumption of the UAV and the NB-IoT devices and also to conduct the data collection *** this regard,this paper proposes GainingSharing Knowledge(GSK)algorithm for optimizing the UAV’s *** GSK,the number of UAV’s stop points in the three-dimensional space is encapsulated into a single individual with a fixed length representing an entire *** superiority of using GSK in the tackled problem is verified by simulation in seven *** provides significant results in all seven scenarios compared with other four optimization algorithms used before with the same ***,the NB-IoT is proposed as the wireless communication technology between the UAV and IoT devices.
