Excitons,bound electron–hole pairs,in two-dimensional hybrid organic inorganic perovskites(2D HOIPs)are capable of forming hybrid light-matter states known as exciton-polaritons(E–Ps)when the excitonic medium is confined in an optical *** the case of 2D HOIPs,they can self-hybridize into E–Ps at specific thicknesses of the HOIP crystals that form a resonant optical cavity with the ***,the fundamental properties of these self-hybridized E–Ps in 2D HOIPs,including their role in ultrafast energy and/or charge transfer at interfaces,remain ***,we demonstrate that>0.5µm thick 2D HOIP crystals on Au substrates are capable of supporting multiple-orders of self-hybridized E–P *** E–Ps have high Q factors(>100)and modulate the optical dispersion for the crystal to enhance sub-gap absorption and *** varying excitation energy and ultrafast measurements,we also confirm energy transfer from higher energy E–Ps to lower energy E–***,we also demonstrate that E–Ps are capable of charge transport and transfer at *** findings provide new insights into charge and energy transfer in E–Ps opening new opportunities towards their manipulation for polaritonic devices.

State versus private sector provision of water services in Armenia

Despite increasing advocacy and adaptation of public-private model of water governance worldwide since the 1990s, today only 5% of the world＇s population is served by water utilities with private involvement. The present article examines the experience of the water sector in Armenia with private sector participation. The study describes the process of the introduction of public-private partnerships in the water sector and focuses on analyzing the impact of privatization on water utility performance. The analysis employs the partial indicator method for evaluating the impacts in relation to operational, finance, and environmental performance, done by drawing on the database for the five water companies in Armenia. The empirical evidence shows that private participation in general led to improved overall performance. In particular, private involvement resulted in increased operational efficiency in terms of labor productivity, water metering, continuity of service, and revenue collection efficiency. There were mixed improvements in the operating cost coverage ratio. As for environmental performance, there were gains in the reduction of residential water consump- tion, accompanied, however, by an increase in non- revenue water.

In recent years,with the cessation of defense relations,Israel and China have sought to expand their diplomatic and economic relations,mainly in the field of industrial research and development,large-scale academic cooperation,and *** expansion of cooperation between the two countries is mainly due to the status of Israel as a start-up country,which can satisfy China’s technological needs and help it modernise many of its *** also sees Israel as a strategic outpost in its regional interests-a small but vital stopover under the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI),connecting the Indian Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea through the Gulf of Suez,as a land bridge connecting trade and energy routes from the Far East through Africa to the Middle East and further to Europe on profitable trade routes by land and *** construction of a railway line from Eilat to Ashdod connecting the Red and Mediterranean Seas,as well as the construction of a new port in Ashdod,will provide a safe alternative route to the Suez ***’s well-secured human capital,a developed economy,a high-tech foundation,a stable public and state business environment have further enhanced the country’s attractiveness as a key element of BRI.

亚美尼亚是世界上最古老的国家之一,有着悠久的历史文化;亚美尼亚和中国友好往来,源远流长,是中国古代丝绸之路经过的国家。加强亚美尼亚和中国之间的旅游联系,有助于两国间开辟新的旅游线路,为两国游客提供更多的旅游产品;对亚美尼亚而言,中国不仅是一个商业目的地,也将成为休闲、娱乐的旅游目的地;对中国而言,亚美尼亚这个拥有伟大文化遗产的国家,将成为一个新的旅游目的地国家。两国关系的友好发展,有利于创造新的就业,带来更多的发展机遇,将对中亚两国的经济产生积极的影响。然而在世界旅游业中,亚美尼亚仍然是一个陌生的国家,对亚美尼亚的了解极其有限;只有充分掌握有关信息,旅游管理部门和旅游企业才有可能进行系统分析,实施有效的旅游发展决策。因此,全面了解亚美尼亚旅游资源和旅游发展现状及其存在的问题,具有很强的现实意义。首先,对亚美尼亚的地理、政治、语言（印度-欧洲语系的独立分支）、宗教（基督教的独立分支）亚美尼亚旅游业所依赖的因素进行了详细分析;由于有四分之三以上的亚美尼亚人生活在国外、海外犹太人聚居区等,亚美尼亚海外犹太人聚居区的形成有非常重要的意义。其次,对中亚两国旅游业之间的联系进行了探讨。再次,全面分析了亚美尼亚旅游发展现状,重点关注亚美尼亚旅游业的薄弱环节及其对亚美尼亚旅游业的发展的作用,具体调查分析了亚美尼亚的主要客源地、游客旅游动机、游客旅游消费行为和消费结构、游客停留时间、亚美尼亚出境旅游者的首选旅游目的地、跟团旅游和自助游的游客比例等具体旅游现象。通过对这些问题的分析,全面展示了亚美尼亚旅游业的全貌。亚美尼亚和中国的国情不同,旅游发展道路不同。为加强两国之间的旅游贸易往来,有必要探索一条特殊的发展道路。最后,提出发展亚美尼亚旅游业,加强中亚旅游联系,需要创新亚美尼亚旅游形式、改善亚美尼亚国内道路条件、加大影视节目中关于旅游目的地信息的宣传力度、利用微博营销与用户进行互动、创造全新的目的地品牌形象等具体措施,以满足中国和亚美尼亚的市场需求。

Purine and Pyrimidine-Linked Enzymes and Genes are Strongly Responsible for the Development of Tumors, Particularly Glioblastoma Multiforme

We were aiming to delineate, by the utility of the biological data results, in our investigations the link between the purine and pyrimidine metabolism and development of the glioblastoma. We analyzed the sets of the genes, belonging to the purine and pyrimidine metabolism by the utility of GSEA software as well as MSIgnDB application of the GSEA. The GEO database, GEOR2 tools were serving for the visualization of the genes expression profiles of the disease. The Cancer Proteome Atlas as well as the tools of the data sets were also used to collect and analyze the results. We concluded and came to the following consequential results. 1) Neurogenesis and Glioblastoma are sharing some common genes. 2) Purine and pyrimidine metabolism-linked enzymes and genes are responsible for the upregulation of DNA and mRNA synthesis in the settings of the tumor development. 3) EGFR expression responsible genes, mRNA as well as protein is upregulated during the development of the glioblastoma. 4) GMPS genes are more strongly upregulated in the settings of the glioblastoma than ADSL. 5) PRPS1 is strongly synthetized in neurospheres in contrast to the mature tissue during glioblastoma development.

Family-Based Tuberculosis Counseling Supports Directly Observed Therapy in Armenia: A Pilot Project

Objectives: Non-adherence to tuberculosis (TB) treatment causes development of multi-drug resistance (MDR). In Armenia, about 47% of previously-treated TB patients develop MDR-TB. This pilot intervention intended to explore the feasibility and effectiveness of a family-based-counseling (FBC) that included a psychological component in terms of improved adherence of TB patients to treatment and reduced stigma of TB. Methods: Overall, 136 regular TB patients (55) and their family members (81) participated in a single 90-minute interactive counseling session conducted in each household by the team of professional psychologist and TB nurse. To evaluate FBC effectiveness, we administered baseline and follow-up surveys to 52 TB patients and their 57 family members in 2012 and compared treatment outcomes of the study participants with the national data for 2011 and 2013. Results: We found that the intervention substantially improved the mean knowledge score of TB patients (from 19.2 to 21.6, p Conclusion: The evaluation showed that a low-cost one-time family–based educational intervention with a psychological component can be effective in improving treatment outcomes of TB patients.

Long-Time Relaxation and Residual Conductivity in GaP Irradiated by High-Energy Electrons

This paper presents the results of a study of long-time relaxation (LR) and residual conductivity in n-type gallium phosphide (GaP) crystals irradiated by 50 MeV electrons. A manifold increase in photosensitivity and quenching of residual conductivity was found as a result of irradiation. It is shown that LR in GaP is due to disordered regions (generated by electron irradiation) which have conductivity close to self one. The Fermi level in the disordered regions is determined by which is located deep in the forbidden band (Ее - 1.0 eV). LR effect is mainly explained by a spatial separation of electrons and holes, recombination of which is prevented by potential barriers. The observed increase in conductivity is associated with the increase in the concentration of minority carriers as well as with increase of the Hall mobility at the sample illumination.

Thrombotic Events in Patients with Antiphospholipid Syndrome: A Single Center Study

Background: There is limited literature regarding risk factors for development of thrombosis and long-term thrombotic outcomes in Armenian APS patients. The aim of the study is to identify patients with APS with thrombotic complications and to evaluate the epidemiological statistics of thrombosis and thrombophilia and their complications in Armenia. Methods: We analyzed medical records of Patients with APS from January 2018 to December 2021 treated at the Armenian Thrombosis and Hemostasis Center was enrolled. Results: Both acquired and hereditary thrombophilia increase the risk of thrombosis. Thrombophilia was present in 61.5% of 123 patients. It was found that 38 pregnant women with thrombosis had a family history of VTE, myocardial infarction or stroke in the next of kin under 50 years of age. The prevalence of this history was 31.4% (11 patients) compared to 68.6% (27 patients), who did not have 41.6% of postpartum thrombotic events up to two months postpartum. Conclusion: Thrombosis in pregnancy is a redoubtable complication requiring an excellent cooperation between the obstetrician and hematologist. Clear detection of thrombosis in APS patients in all types allows to accurately predicting the method and duration of anticoagulant treatment and to prevent thrombotic complications.
