Analysis and Control of a Three-Phase Switched Reluctance Wind Generator

This paper deals with various aspects of modeling, simulation, analysis, and control ofa SRG （switched reluctance generator） in different modes of operation. Excitation method of such a generator is shortly described. The output power of the SRG is controlled so that it can track the maximum output power of a wind turbine drive applications. Also, the output generator voltage is stabilized under either load or wind speed variations. Basic operational characteristics of a three-phase 6/4 SRG are developed through experimental observation. Meanwhile, the real-time operation was implemented in a DSP （digital signal processor） environment. The simulation of the complete system model has been obtained using the Matlab/Simulink software. A good agreement between experimental and simulation results has been observed which supports the validity of the proposed analysis.

This paper focuses on quantifying the renewable energy mix in the MENA （Middle East and North Africa） region and underlines its impact in terms of economic aspects. The installed and targeted capacities of solar, wind and other technologies will be revealed. In addition, distinguished present and on-going projects as well as prominent funding organizations are discussed. The overall strategy as well as the evolution of the renewable energy plan is resumed.

This paper describes HIQMA, an integrated, web-based, and fully automated healthcare institution quality management system. The system includes many applications, starting with a quality handbook for the individual beneficiary organizations and not ending by the development of service guidelines. It is based on a result-proven design approach that enhances medical and healthcare services. The different stakeholders are provided with a common framework for designing, implementing, evaluating and improving these services. HIQMA is scalable in the sense that additional professional development tools based on work service guidelines can be implemented.
