Comparative study of protein pattern changes and mineral composition in cultivated and newly domesticated wild Flammulina velutipes

A wild strain of Flammulina velutipes indigenous to Iran has been recently adapted for artificial cultivation,requiring nutritional information in order to improve its utilization as a medicinal-culinary ***,the current study aimed to evaluate protein profile of this domesticated wild *** strain over six different developmental stages,in comparison with a commercially cultivated strain of *** macro-and microelements were also investigated in the mature sporomes cultivated in a lignocellulosic substrate composed of 40%wheat straw+40%sawdust+18%wheat bran+1%lime+1%*** lowest and highest amounts of protein were observed in primordia(33%of dry matter)and sporomes picked at the third or fifth day of harvesting(57%of dry matter),respectively(p≤0.05),followed by an obvious decrease in protein content at the late stages of harvesting(p≤0.05).Further SDS-PAGE analyses revealed that the protein molecular mass increased from less than 30 kDa in primordia to 235 kDa in mature ***,no significant difference in protein profiling was noticed between the wild and the reference strains of any given stage(p≥0.05).While nutritional elements such as K,P and Mg were found at 886.9,745.2,and 142.7 mg/100 g of dry weight,respectively,no heavy metals was found at levels higher than the provisional maximum tolerable intake in the *** study may be considered an initial step towards recognition of the wild *** as a non-toxic functional food,warranting further proteomics studies.

Nullors, and Nullor Circuits;There Applications in Symbolic Circuit Analysis and Design

The objective in this presentation is to introduce some of the unique properties and applications of nullors in active circuit analysis and designs. The emphasis is to discuss the role nullors can play in symbolic representation of transfer functions. To show this we adopt the topological platform for the circuit analysis and use a recently developed Admittance Method (AM) to achieve the Sum of Tree Products (STP), replacing the determinant and cofactors of the Nodal Admittance Matrix (NAM) of the circuit. To construct a transfer function, we start with a given active circuit and convert all its controlled sources and I/O-ports to nullors. Now, with a solid nullor circuit (passive elements and nullors) we first eliminate the passive elements through AM operations. This produces the STPs. Second, the all-nullor circuit is then used to find the signs or the STPs. Finally, the transfer function (in symbolic, if chosen) is obtained from the ratio between the STPs.

Dear Editor,Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer among men worldwide and leading cancer in incidence among men in the United States(US).In 2018,the US had over 190,000 new prostate cancer cases,accounting for almost 1 in 5 new male cancer diagnoses[1].A recent review of dietary factors in relation to prostate cancer risk did not find evidence regarding nut consumption as neither a risk nor protective factor,though it has been hypothesized to be associated with a decreased cancer risk through multi-ple mechanisms[2].

Instability inspection of parametric vibrating rectangular Mindlin plates lying on Winkler foundations under periodic loading of moving masses

Parametric resonance is one of the most important issues in the study of dynamical behavior of structures. In this paper, dynamic instability of a moderately thick rectangular plate on an elastic foundation is investigated in the case of parametric and external resonances due to periodic passage of moving masses. The governing coupled partial differential equations (PDEs) of the system, with consideration of the first-order shear deformation theory (FSDT) or Mindlin plate theory, are presented and they are reduced to a set of ordinary differential equations (ODEs) with time-dependent coefficients using the Galerkin procedure. All inertial components of the moving masses are adopted in the dynamical formulation. Instability survey is carried out for three different loading trajectories considerably interested in many practical applications of the issue, i.e. rectilinear, diagonal and orbiting trajectories. In order to analyze the resonance conditions, the incremental harmonic balance (IHB) method is introduced to calculate instability boundaries, as well as external resonance curves in parameters plane. A comprehensive study is done to assess effects of thickness ratio and foundation stiffness on the resonance conditions. It is found that an increase in the plate's thickness ratio leads to a reduction in values of critical parameters. Moreover, it is observed that in creasing the foundation stiffness moves the in stability regions and resona nee curves to higher frequencies of the moving masses and also leads to further stability of the parametrically excited system at lower frequencies. Time response simulations done via Runge-Kutta method confirmed the results predicted by IHB method.

Isogeometric analysis of free-form Timoshenko curved beams including the nonlinear effects of large deformations

In the present paper, the isogeometric analysis（IGA） of free-form planar curved beams is formulated based on the nonlinear Timoshenko beam theory to investigate the large deformation of beams with variable curvature. Based on the isoparametric concept, the shape functions of the field variables（displacement and rotation） in a finite element analysis are considered to be the same as the non-uniform rational basis spline（NURBS） basis functions defining the geometry. The validity of the presented formulation is tested in five case studies covering a wide range of engineering curved structures including from straight and constant curvature to variable curvature beams. The nonlinear deformation results obtained by the presented method are compared to well-established benchmark examples and also compared to the results of linear and nonlinear finite element analyses. As the nonlinear load-deflection behavior of Timoshenko beams is the main topic of this article, the results strongly show the applicability of the IGA method to the large deformation analysis of free-form curved beams. Finally, it is interesting to notice that, until very recently, the large deformations analysis of free-form Timoshenko curved beams has not been considered in IGA by researchers.

Adsorption of nitrous oxide on the(6,0) magnesium oxide nanotube

Nitrous oxide adsorption on the pristine （6,0） magnesium oxide nanotube was studied by using density functional theory calculations. We present the nature of the N2O interaction in selected sites of the nanotube. Adsorption energies corresponding to adsorption of the N2O on the nanotube were calculated to be in the range - 11.67 to -22.21 kJ mol- 1. Our results indicate that the N2O molecule has a weak physical adsorption on the pristine models due to weak Van der Waals interaction between the nanotubes and N2O molecule. The important results can be useful in production of the N2O sensors.

采用不同吸附剂,如活性炭、膨润土、高岭土、树脂、沸石和白沙从铜电解液中去除Sb(Ⅴ),得到不同吸附剂从铜电解液中去除锑(Ⅴ)的吸附容量顺序为:白沙(27)阴离子型树脂(27)沸石(27)高岭土(27)活性炭(27)膨润土。利用FTIR、XRF、XRD、SEM和BET等手段对膨润土进行表征。结果表明:膨润土的比表面积为95 m^2/g,粒度为175 nm;最大去除锑(Ⅴ)的最佳条件为接触时间10 min、4 g膨润土和温度40°C;膨润土吸附锑(Ⅴ)遵守伪二级动力学方程(R^2=0.996,k=9×10^(-5) g/(mg·min))。热力学结果显示,膨润土从铜电解液中吸附锑(Ⅴ)是吸热和自发的过程(ΔG~Θ=-4806 kJ/(mol·K),吸附数据与Freundlich和Langmuir等温线模型吻合。在铜电解液中膨润土具有最大的吸附锑(Ⅴ)容量为10000 mg/g,对于铜电解液中的Zn,Co,Cu和Bi的吸附很低且影响不大。

In-vitro bioactivity evaluation and physical properties of an epoxy-based dental sealer reinforced with synthesized fluorine-substituted hydroxyapatite, hydroxyapatite and bioactive glass nanofillers

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the physical properties and bioactivity potential of epoxy-based dental sealers modified with synthesized bioactive glass(BAG),hydroxyapatite(HA)and fluorine substituted hydroxyapatite(FHA)*** synthesized powders were incorporated at 10%and 20%into the epoxy-based dental *** setting time,flow and solubility and microhardness of the modified and unmodified samples were *** bioactivity was evaluated using FESEM-EDX and elemental mapping,ATR-FTIR and *** flow value of all of the experimental groups except the FHA modified samples,was greater than 20 *** solubility,no specimens exhibited more than 1%weight *** solubility value of the FHA groups was statistically significant lower than other groups(p≤0.001).The mean hardness values of all of the modified samples were significantly higher than the unmodified group(p≤0.001).Regarding bioactivity,in vitro study revealed that after 3 days immersion in SBF a compact and continuous calcium phosphate layer formed on the surface of epoxy sealers containing BAG and HA *** on these results,the addition of BAG and HA nanoparticles did not adversely alter the physical properties of epoxy ***,they improved the in vitro bioactivity of the epoxy sealer.
