A simple model for two-proton radioactivity

In this work,considering the preformation factor of the emitted two protons in parent nucleus S_(2p) and the effect of the parent nucleus deformation,based on the Wentzel-Kramers-Brillouin approximation and Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization condition,we improve a simple phenomenological model proposed by Bayrak[***.G:47,025102(2020)]to systematically study 2p radioactivity *** model contains two adjustable parameters V_(0) and a_(β),which are related to the depth of nuclear potential and effect of *** calculated results show that this model can effectively reproduce the experimental data with a corresponding root-mean-square(RMS)standard deviation of σ=*** comparison,we include the Gamow-like model(GLM)proposed by Liu et al.[***.C 45,044110(2021)],generalized liquid drop model(GLDM)proposed by Cui et al.[***.C 101,014301(2020)],effective liquid drop model(ELDM)proposed by *** et al.[***.B 774,14(2017)],two-potential approach with Skyrme-Hartree-Fock(TPASHF)proposed by Pan et al.[***.C 45,124104(2021)],phenomenological model with a screened electrostatic barrier(SEB)propoesed by Zou et al.[***.C 45,104101(2021)],unified fission model(UFM)proposed by Xing et al.[***.C 45,124105(2021)],Coulomb and proximity potential model for deformed nuclei(CPPMDN)proposed by Santhosh[***.C 104,064613(2021)],two-parameter empirical formula proposed by Liu et al.[***.C 45,024108(2021)],and four-parameter empirical formula proposed by Sreeja et al.[***.J.A 55,33(2019)].In addition,we use this model to 2p predict the radioactive half-lives of some possible potential nuclei whose 2p radioactivity are energetically allowed or observed but not yet quantified in NUBASE2020.

Axial enantiomers with donor-regulated TADF feature for multicolor circularly polarized electroluminescence

This study optimized the TADF feature of axial chiral enantiomers through precise donor engineering,and multicolor CP-TADFwas achieved in the axial chiral *** pairs of axial enantiomers with donor-regulated TADF feature,namely(R/S)-TPCBD,(R/S)-DPCBD,and(R/S)-DPACBD,were synthesized by introducing carbazole donors with different substituents onto biphenyl cyanide *** the electron-donating ability of donors increases,the emission of these axial enantiomers ranges from 455,476 to 552 nm,their singlet-triplet energy gaps(ΔE_(ST))gradually decrease from 0.30,0.22 to 0.02 e V,accompanied by an increasement in the transition rate(k_(RISC))of RISC process,and the k_(RISC)of DPACBD could reach up to 7.16×10^(5)s^(-1).These axial enantiomers also exhibit mirror-image CD and circularly polarized luminescence(CPL)***,OLEDs based on TPCBD,DPCBD,and DPACBD as emitter were then fabricated,which displayed blue,green,and orange electroluminescence with EQE_(max)of 13.0%,16.4%,and 25.0%,*** results also exhibited a phenomenon of device efficiency increasing with the enhancement of donor ***,the CP-OLEDs using(R/S)-TPCBD,(R/S)-DPCBD and(R/S)-DPACBD as emitters displayed intense CPEL signals with g_(EL)values of 3.4×10^(-3)/-4.1×10^(-3),3.2×10^(-3)/-3.1×10^(-3)and2.3×10^(-3)/-2.1×10^(-3),*** convenient molecular engineering of donor regulation in the same molecular skeleton,CP-TADF materials with multicolor CPEL and improved device performance could be conveniently achieved.

Metabolic diseases and their complications impose health and economic burdens *** from past experimental studies and clinical trials suggests our body may have the ability to remember the past metabolic environment,such as hyperglycemia or hyperlipidemia,thus leading to chronic inflammatory disorders and other diseases even after the elimination of these metabolic *** long-term effects of that aberrant metabolism on the body have been summarized as metabolic memory and are found to assume a crucial role in states of health and *** molecular mechanisms collectively participate in metabolic memory management,resulting in different cellular alterations as well as tissue and organ dysfunctions,culminating in disease progression and even affecting *** elucidation and expansion of the concept of metabolic memory provides more comprehensive insight into pathogenic mechanisms underlying metabolic diseases and complications and promises to be a new target in disease detection and ***,we retrace the history of relevant research on metabolic memory and summarize its salient *** provide a detailed discussion of the mechanisms by which metabolic memory may be involved in disease development at molecular,cellular,and organ levels,with emphasis on the impact of epigenetic ***,we present some of the pivotal findings arguing in favor of targeting metabolic memory to develop therapeutic strategies for metabolic diseases and provide the latest reflections on the consequences of metabolic memory as well as their implications for human health and diseases.

High-capacity dilithium hydroquinone cathode material for lithium-ion batteries

Lithiated organic cathode materials show great promise for practical applications in lithium-ion batteries owing to their Li-reservoir characteristics. However, the reported lithiated organic cathode materials still suffer from strict synthesis conditions and low capacity. Here we report a thermal intermolecular rearrangement method without organic solvents to prepare dilithium hydroquinone（Li2Q）, which delivers a high capacity of 323 m Ah g-1with an average discharge voltage of 2.8 V. The reversible conversion between orthorhombic Li2Q and monoclinic benzoquinone during charge/discharge processes is revealed by in situ X-ray diffraction. Theoretical calculations show that the unique Li–O channels in Li2Q are beneficial for Li+ion diffusion. In situ ultraviolet-visible spectra demonstrate that the dissolution issue of Li2Q electrodes during charge/discharge processes can be handled by separator modification, resulting in enhanced cycling stability. This work sheds light on the synthesis and battery application of high-capacity lithiated organic cathode materials.

Fast thermal responsive separators toward long-life and safe lithium metal batteries

Lithium metal batteries(LMBs)have been extensively investigated during the past decades because of their ultrahigh energy *** the increasing demand for energy density,however,the safety issue of LMBs has become a significant *** particular,localized areas of increased temperature(namely,hotspots)may be induced and even exacerbated within LMBs by uneven current distribution,internal short circuits,or inadequate heat dissipation,which significantly sacrifices battery safety and cycle ***,we report the rational design and fabrication of a fast thermal responsive separator capable of inhibiting the growth of lithium dendrites and mitigating thermal propagation,thereby reducing the risk of thermal *** as-achieved separator comprises both an electrospun membrane using a phase change material with superior thermal-storage ability and a thermally conductive modification layer of hexagonal boron nitride nanosheets with a fast heat-transfer *** is demonstrated that such a unique integration of heat conduction and heat storage enables the functional separator with attractive abilities to mitigate hotspots and inhibit the growth of lithium dendrites upon the cycling of ***,pouch cells with the thermal-responsive separator,as well as numerical simulations,verify much enhanced safety and cycle life of *** work may offer a new conceptual design of intelligent separators that acts as a functional unit encapsulated within a single cell to boost in-situ thermal management,which will help to develop high-safety and energy-dense LMBs.

To improve the bit error rate(BER)performance of multi-user signal detection in satelliteterrestrial downlink non-orthogonal multiple access(NOMA)systems,an iterative signal detection algorithm based on soft interference cancellation with optimal power allocation is *** that power allocation has a significant impact on BER performance,the optimal power allocation is obtained by minimizing the average BER of NOMA *** to the allocated powers,successive interference cancellation(SIC)between NOMA users is performed in descending power *** each user,an iterative soft interference cancellation is performed,and soft symbol probabilities are calculated for soft *** improve detection accuracy and without increasing the complexity,the aforementioned algorithm is optimized by adding minimum mean square error(MMSE)signal estimation before detection,and in each iteration soft symbol probabilities are utilized for soft-decision of the current user and also for the update of soft interference of the previous *** results illustrate that the optimized algorithm ***-IDBSIC significantly outperforms joint multi-user detection and SIC detection by 7.57dB and 8.03dB in terms of BER performance.

Introducing electrolytic electrochemical polymerization for constructing protective layers on Ni-rich cathodes of Li-ion batteries

LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2)(NCM811)is the most promising cathode for high-energy Li-ion batteries,despite its poor cycling stability that originates from the reactions that occur with the ***,to solve this interfacial issue,a facile electrolytic electrochemical polymerization process was introduced in this paper,and a uniform conductive electrolyte interface(polyaniline)was successfully constructed on the surface of the NCM811 porous electrode(PANI-NCM),which facilitated the charge transfer during charge/*** side reactions at the interface between the cathode and the electrolyte are suppressed,and thereby,the cycling performance and rate capability are considerably ***-NCM delivers an initial capacity of 157.2 mAh·g^(-1)as well as excellent cyclability(capacity retention of 88%after 500 cycles at 2C),whereas the capacity of the bare NCM811 has dropped to 31.3 mAh·g^(-1).In addition,polypyrrole and polythiophene also can be formed through electrolytic electrochemical polymerization process,which provides a practicable tactic to modify the interfacial stability of cathodes for high-energy Li-ion batteries.

CRB:A new rumor blocking algorithm in online social networks based on competitive spreading model and influence maximization

The virtuality and openness of online social platforms make networks a hotbed for the rapid propagation of various *** order to block the outbreak of rumor,one of the most effective containment measures is spreading positive information to counterbalance the diffusion of *** spreading mechanism of rumors and effective suppression strategies are significant and challenging research ***,in order to simulate the dissemination of multiple types of information,we propose a competitive linear threshold model with state transition(CLTST)to describe the spreading process of rumor and anti-rumor in the same ***,we put forward a community-based rumor blocking(CRB)algorithm based on influence maximization theory in social *** crucial step is to identify a set of influential seeds that propagate anti-rumor information to other nodes,which includes community detection,selection of candidate anti-rumor seeds and generation of anti-rumor seed *** the CLTST model,the CRB algorithm has been compared with six state-of-the-art algorithms on nine online social networks to verify the *** results show that the proposed model can better reflect the process of rumor propagation,and review the propagation mechanism of rumor and anti-rumor in online social ***,the proposed CRB algorithm has better performance in weakening the rumor dissemination ability,which can select anti-rumor seeds in networks more accurately and achieve better performance in influence spread,sensitivity analysis,seeds distribution and running time.

Barley Protein LFBEP-C1 from Lactiplantibacillus plantarum dy-1 Fermented Barley Extracts by Inhibiting Lipid Accumulation in a Caenorhabditis elegans Model

Objective This study aimed to investigate the lipid-lowering activity of LFBEP-C1 in high glucose-fed Caenorhabditis elegans(***).Methods In this study,the fermented barley protein LFBEP-C1 was prepared and tested for its potential anti-obesity effects on *** worms were fed Escherichia coli OP50(*** OP50),glucose,and different concentrations of *** size,lifespan,movement,triglyceride content,and gene expression were *** results were analyzed using ANOVA and Tukey's multiple comparison *** Compared with the model group,the head-swing frequency of *** in the group of LFBEP-C1 at 20μg/mL increased by 33.88%,and the body-bending frequency increased by 27.09%.This indicated that LFBEP-C1 improved the locomotive ability of *** average lifespan of *** reached 13.55 days,and the body length and width of the *** decreased after LFBEP-C1 ***,LFBEP-C1 reduced the content of lipid accumulation and triglyceride *** expression levels of sbp-1,daf-2,and mdt-15 significantly decreased,while those of daf-16,tph-1,mod-1,and ser-4 significantly increased after LFBEP-C1 *** in these genes explain the signaling pathways that regulate lipid *** LFBEP-C1 significantly reduced lipid deposition in *** fed a high-glucose diet and alleviated the adverse effects of a high-glucose diet on the development,lifespan,and exercise behavior of *** addition,LFBEP-C1 regulated lipid metabolism mainly by mediating the expression of genes in the sterol regulatory element-binding protein,insulin,and 5-hydroxytryptamine signaling pathways.
