Unlocking iron-based mixed-phosphate cathode for sodium-ion batteries through off-stoichiometry

The off-stoichiometric iron-based phosphate(Na_(3.12)Fe_(2.44)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2),denoted as Na3.12)as a low cost and high structure stability cathode material has been widely studied for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs).However,the lower theoretical specific capacity(117 mAh·g^(-1))has seriously limited its practical *** this work,we incorporate varying proportion of sodium-iron phosphate(NaFePO_(4))into the Na3.12 to form a series of new high specific capacity mixed-phosphates Na_(3.12+x)Fe_(2.44+x)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(PO_(4))x cathode materials for *** optimizing the introduction amount of NaFePO_(4)into Na_(3.12),the practical reversible of Na_(3.12+x)Fe_(2.44+x)(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(PO_(4))_(x) increased from 92 to 125.2 mAh·g^(-1).The nano-size Na5.12Fe4.44(P_(2)O_(7))_(2)(PO_(4))_(2) cathode material shows a reversible specific capacity of 125.2 mAh·g^(-1)at 0.1 C in *** at 60 C,it still exhibits a reversible specific capacity of 93.3 mAh·g^(-1)and keeps a capacity retention ratio of 87%after 3000 cycles at 20 ***,we present a novel approach to design a series of off-stoichiometric mixed-phosphates cathode materials for SIBs.

In recent years,remarkable breakthroughs have been reported on antibody-drug conjugates(ADCs),with 15 ADCs successfully entering the market over the past *** substantial development has positioned ADCs as one of the fastest-growing domains in the realm of anticancer drugs,demonstrating their efficacy in treating awide array of ***,there is still an unmet clin-ical need forwider application,better efficacy,and fewer side effects of *** ADC generally comprises an antibody,a linker and a payload,and the combina-tion has profound effects on drug structure,pharmacokinetic profile and ***,optimization of the key components provides an opportunity to develop ADCs with higher potency and fewer side *** this review,we comprehen-sively reviewed the current development and the prospects of ADC,provided an analysis of marketed ADCs and the ongoing pipelines globally as well as in China,highlighted several ADC platforms and technologies specific to different pharmaceutical enterprises and biotech companies,and also discussed the new related technologies,possibility of next-generation ADCs and the directions of clinical research.

Satellite observations of coastal upwelling in the northern Arafura Sea

Coastal upwelling is significant for marine ecosystems by lifting nutrient-rich deep waters into the euphotic zone,thereby increasing primary and secondary *** satellite observations show that the northern Arafura Sea(NAS),especially in the coastal region,features high chlorophyll-a(chl-a)concentrations,implying a strong coastal ***,coastal upwelling in the NAS has not received much *** on a semi-automatic image processing technology,the seasonal and interannual variability of coastal upwelling in the NAS are investigated in this study using satellite-observed sea surface temperature(SST)and wind *** results suggest that there are seasonal coastal upwelling events in the NAS modulated by upwelling-favorable southeast monsoon(SEM).The annual mean days,mean area,and annual mean intensity of coastal upwelling events during the SEM season are 92 days,6514 km^(2),and-5.31×10^(5),respectively,while the corresponding values during the northwest monsoon(NWM)season are 32 days,5569 km^(2),and-1.41×10^(5).It is also found that the SEM coastal upwelling in the NAS displays prominent interannual *** strong upwelling events are found in 2010,2013,2016,and 2017 when the southeast monsoon winds were *** analysis suggests that at the interannual scale,the upwelling index(UI)averaged in the SEM season is negatively correlated with that of three upwelling *** can be attributed to the limitation of onshore geostrophic flow which is evidenced by the negative correlation between the UI and the alongshore difference in sea surface *** study highlights the important role of the southeast monsoon in the temporal variability of coastal upwelling in the NAS.

Reversal of complete atrioventricular block in dialysis patients following parathyroidectomy:A case report

BACKGROUND Refractory secondary hyperparathyroidism(SHPT)is a common complication observed in patients with end-stage renal disease and can result in ectopic *** calcification involving the heart valves and the conduction system can easily lead to arrhythmias,including atrioventricular *** case report describes a maintenance hemodialysis patient with refractory SHPT resulting in a complete atrioventricular block(CAVB),which was eventually reversed to a first-degree atrioventricular *** SUMMARY We present the case of a 31-year-old Asian female who was receiving maintenance hemodialysis because of lupus *** developed SHPT,and an electrocardiogram revealed a first-degree atrioventricular ***,she underwent parathyroidectomy(PTX)with ***,a few years later,she developed SHPT again,and an electrocardiogram revealed a CAVB.A few years after the second PTX surgery,the calcification of the left atrium and left ventricle improved,and her CAVB was *** This case revealed that metastatic cardiac calcification can result in complete atrioventricular *** parathyroid surgery,calcification of the cardiac conduction system improved,leading to reversal of the atrioventricular *** is important for dialysis patients to optimize intact parathyroid hormone therapy and pay attention to calcification metastasis.

Enhancing metformin-induced tumor metabolism destruction by glucose oxidase for triple-combination therapy

Despite decades of laboratory and clinical trials,breast cancer remains the main cause of cancer-related disease burden in *** the metabolism destruction effect of metformin(Met)and cancer cell starvation induced by glucose oxidase(GOx),after their efficient delivery to tumor sites,GOx and Met may consume a large amount of glucose and produce sufficient hydrogen peroxide in ***,a pH-responsive epigallocatechin gallate(EGCG)-conjugated low-molecular-weight chitosan(LC-EGCG,LE)nanoparticle(Met–GOx/Fe@LE NPs)was *** coordination between iron ions(Fe3+)and EGCG in this nanoplatform can enhance the efficacy of chemodynamic therapy via the Fenton ***–GOx/Fe@LE NPs allow GOx to retain its enzymatic activity while simultaneously improving its ***,this pH-responsive nanoplatform presents controllable drug release *** in vivo biodistribution study showed that the intracranial accumulation of GOx delivered by this nanoplatform was 3.6-fold higher than that of the free *** in vivo anticancer results indicated that this metabolism destruction/starvation/chemodynamic triple-combination therapy could induce increased apoptosis/death of tumor cells and reduce their *** triple-combination therapy approach is promising for efficient and targeted cancer treatment.

Fabrication of telechelic DNA-bridged food emulsion gel as edible ink for 3D printing

Objectives:Interdroplet interactions affect the properties and textures of *** this study,we creatively introduced telechelic DNA to link oil droplets directly at molecular scale to further improve the viscoelastic properties of *** and Methods:A stable emulsion with 70%oil fraction was prepared by adding 40 mg/mL of whey protein isolate and peach gum polysaccharide complex(WPI–PGP complex).The addition of telechelic DNA(0.125–0.375μmol/L)made the emulsion change from a cream-like state to a self-supporting ***:Rheological experiments confirmed that the telechelic DNA could improve the yield stress,storage modulus/loss modulus(Gʹ/Gʹʹ)and apparent viscosity of the emulsion gel in a concentration-dependent manner(0–0.375μmol/L).Inverted fluorescence images clearly showed the interdroplet network of the emulsion gel linked by telechelic *** 3D printing,the emulsion gel with a higher concentration(0.375μmol/L)of telechelic DNA displayed better surface quality and dimensional resolution,indicating improved ***:This study successfully designed a novel telechelic DNA-bridged emulsion gel,which showed great potential as edible ink for 3D printing.

Hydrocarbon Charging and Accumulation Process of the Large Bozhong19-6 Condensate Gas Reservoirs in the Southwestern Bozhong Sub-Basin,Bohai Bay Basin,China

The Bozhong19-6(BZ19-6)condensate gas reservoirs,located in the southwestern Bozhong sub-basin,Bohai Bay Basin,China,were paleo-oil reservoirs in the geological past and have undergone at least three successive hydrocarbon charging *** hydrocarbon migration and accumulation process of“early oil and late gas”has occurred in the current *** the end of the sedimentation of the Guantao Formation(N_(1)g,∼12 Ma),the reservoirs began to fill with first stage low-moderate mature crude *** the late stage of the Lower Minghuazhen Formation(N_(1)ml)(∼6.7 Ma),the reservoirs were largely charged with second stage high mature crude *** the deposition of the upper Minghuazhen Formation(N_(2)m^(u),∼5.1 Ma),the paleo-oil reservoirs were transformed into shallow Neogene reservoirs due to the reactivation of basement *** the late stage of the N_(2)m^(u)to the present day(∼2.8–0 Ma),the reservoirs were rapidly filled by natural gas within a short *** addition,analysis of the formation of the reservoir bitumen and the conspicuous loss of the lower molecular weight n-alkanes in the crude oil reveal that the injection of a large amount of gas in the late stage caused gas flushing of the early charged oil.

A Single-Event-Transient Hardened Phase Locked Loop for Clock and Data Recovery

A radiation-hardened phase-locked loop is proposed for phase interpolator clock and data recovery purposes. A sensitive node-compressed charge pump and multi-node cross coupling voltage-controlled oscillators are proposed in this phase-locked loop with the goal of achieving good jitter performance and improving anti-SET（SET,single-event transient） capability. The root mean square（RMS） jitter of the phase-locked loop is reduced from 3.7 ps to 2.58 ps at 2 GHz, while the laser threshold is improved from 120 p J to 370 p J compared to the unhardened phaselocked loop. The hardened phase-locked loop also does not lose its lock state from linear energy transfers（LETs） of 3.3 to 37.3 Me V·cm2/mg.

Characteristics of long-distance mobile mRNAs from shoot to root in grafted plant species

Thousands of long-distance mobile mRNAs were identified from different grafting systems,based on high-throughput sequencing ***,the long-distance delivery of RNAs was proved to involve multiple ***,we analyzed the homology,motif,and tRNA-like structure(TLS)of long-distance mobile mRNAs identified by RNA-seq as well as the RNA-binding protein(RBP)in nine grafting combinations including Arabidopsis thaliana,Vitis vinifera,Cucumis sativus,Citrullus lanatus,Nicotiana benthamiana,Malus domestica,Pyrus spp.,Glycine max and Phaseolus *** several mRNAs were found to be shared in herbaceous,woody,and related species,the vast majority of long-distance mobile mRNAs were *** non-specific movement-related motifs were identified,while the TLS was not necessary for mRNA long distance *** addition,we found that RBPs were conserved among herbaceous and woody plants as well as related *** paper reports a further in-depth analysis of the endogenous mechanisms by which the species-specific transportable m RNAs were selected by bioinformatics,in order to provide insights for future research on long-distance mobile mRNAs.
