Introduction Nitrate-induced headache is common and may signify responsive cerebral *** assessed the relationship between nitrate headache and outcome in patients with acute *** and methods Patients were those randomised to glyceryl trinitrate(GTN)versus no GTN in the efficacy of nitric oxide in stroke *** of headache by end of treatment(day 7),and functional outcome(modified Rankin Scale,primary outcome)at day 90,were *** are adjusted for baseline prognostic factors and give OR and mean difference(MD)with 95%*** In 4011 patients,headache was more common in GTN than control(360,18.0% vs 170,8.5%;pke and absence of dysphasia(pke may be associated with improved activities of daily living and cognitive impairment at day 90,which was not seen with non-nitrate headache.

Between Quantum Mechanics and General Relativity

The origin of elementary particle mass is considered as a function of n-valued graviton quanta. To develop this concept we begin in a cold region of “empty space” comprised of only microscopic gravitons oscillating at angular frequency ω. From opposite directions enters a pair of stray protons. Upon colliding, heat and energy are released. Customarily, this phase and what follows afterward would be described by Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD). Instead, we argue for an intermediary step. One in which neighboring gravitons absorb discrete amounts of plane-wave energy. Captured by the graviton, the planewave becomes a standing wave, whereupon its electromagnetic energy densities are converted into gravitational quanta. Immediately thereafter an elementary particle is formed and emitted, having both mass and spin. From absorption to conversion to emission occurs in less than 3.7 × 10−16 s. During this basic unit of hybrid time, general relativity and quantum physics unite into a common set of physical laws. As additional stray protons collide the process continues. Over eons, vast regions of spacetime become populated with low-mass particles. These we recognize to be dark matter by its effects on large scale structures in the universe. Its counterpart, dark energy, arises when the conversion of gravitational quanta to particle emission is interrupted. This causes the gravitational quanta to be ejected. It is recognized by its large scale effects on the universe.

Effects of Thermal Activation on the Electrocatalysis of the Ru(0001) Surface

Variable temperature in situ FTIR spectroscopy has been used as the primary tool to investigate the effects of temperature(10 to 50 ℃) on formaldehyde dissociative adsorption and electro oxidation on the Ru(0001) electrode in perchloric acid solution, and the results were interpreted in terms of the surface chemistry of the Ru(0001) electrode and compared to those obtained during our previous studies on the adsorption of CO under the same conditions. It was found that formaldehyde did undergo dissociative adsorption, even at -200 mV vs . Ag/AgCl, to form linear(CO L) and 3 fold hollow(CO H) binding CO adsorbates. In contrast to the adsorption of CO, it was found that increasing the temperature to 50 ℃ markedly increased the amount of CO adsorbates formed on the Ru(0001) surface from the adsorption of formaldehyde. On increasing the potential, the electro oxidation of the CO adsorbates to CO 2 took place via reaction with the active (1×1) O oxide. A significant increase in the surface reactivity was observed on the RuO 2(100) phase formed at higher potentials. Formic acid was detected as a partial oxidation product during formaldehyde electro oxidation. The data obtained at 50 ℃ are markedly different from those collected at 10 and 25 ℃ in terms of the amount of both CO 2 and formic acid formed and the adsorbed CO L and CO H species observed. These results were rationalized by the thermal effects on both the loosening of the CO adlayer and the activation of surface oxide on increasing the temperature.

Clustering and classification of energy meter data: A comparison analysis of data from individual homes and the aggregated data from multiple homes

The transition towards a more sustainable environment requires the development of new control systems on the demand side to integrate renewable energy sources into the energy *** this purpose,energy meter data of homes have been broadly used in modelling,forecast and optimal control of energy ***,usability and reliability of household energy meter data have not been specifically *** this study,we apply commonly used machine learning methods on the heating consumption data of(1)two individual homes in an apartment building and(2)the district heating substation of the apartment building which includes 72 homes,to identify how the characteristics of data affect the result of data *** clustering approaches were applied using the k-means algorithm to group similar heating daily *** the clustering results,different classification algorithms such as logistic regression and random forest were applied to predict the heating consumption level with regards to the weather *** data analysis process showed that the substation data which is the aggregated heating consumption of the 72 homes is more reliable and valid for energy prediction than the data from two individual *** is due to the large variation and uncertainty in the daily energy use of individual homes.

For a commutative ring R and a faithfully fiat R-algebra S we prove, under mild extra assumptions, that an R-module M is Gorenstein flat if and only if the left S-module S R M is Gorenstein flat, and that an R-module N is Gorenstein injective if and only if it is cotorsion and the left S-module Homn（S, N） is Gorenstein injective. We apply these results to the study of Gorenstein homological dimensions of unbounded complexes. In particular, we prove two theorems on stability of these dimensions under faithfully flat （co-）base change.

Bill Morphology Does Not Influence Vocal Performance in Darwin’s Small Tree Finch on Floreana Island

Bird song is used for mate attraction and is important for establishing reproductive isolation. Current research highlights performance constraints on song production that may be influenced by variation in bill morphology. Darwin＇s finches are a model system for studying the relationship between morphology and song performance, with previous studies suggesting that lower vocal performance is correlated with larger bill size. Here, we tested for a relationship between bill morphology and vocal performance in Darwin＇s Small Tree Finch （Camarhynchus parvulus） on Floreana Island. We found no evidence of a correlation between bill morphology and vocal performance. This finding is in agreement with prior study of the Small Tree Finch, but contrasts a greater body of work addressing song in Darwin＇s Finches. We discussed our findings in the context of ecological divergence, and ecological variation across species.

ARCHITECTURE AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION FOR ROBOTS TO NAVIGATE IN UNkNOWN INDOOR ENVIRONMENTS

It is discussed with the design and implementation of an architecture for a mobile robot to navigate in dynamic and anknown indoor environments. The architecture is based on the framework of Open Robot Control Software at kTH （OROCOS@kTH）, which is also discussed and evaluated to navigate indoor efficiently, a new algorithm named door-like-exit detection is proposed which employs 2D feature oft. door and extracts key points of pathway from the raw data of a laser scanner. As a hybrid architecture, it is decomposed into several basic components which can be classified as either deliberative or reactive. Each component can concurrently execute and communicate with another. It is expansible and transferable and its components are reusable.
