BACKGROUND Liver injury is common in severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).Excessive autophagy often leads to an imbalance of homeostasis in hepatocytes,which induces lipid peroxidation and mitochondrial iron deposition and ultimately leads to *** previous study found that milk fat globule epidermal growth factor 8(MFG-E8)alleviates acinar cell damage during SAP via binding toαvβ3/5 ***-E8 also seems to mitigate pancreatic fibrosis via inhibiting chaperone-mediated *** To speculate whether MFG-E8 could also alleviate SAP induced liver injury by restoring the abnormal autophagy *** SAP was induced in mice by 2 hly intraperitoneal injections of 4.0 g/kg L-arginine or 7 hly injections of 50μg/kg cerulein plus ***8-knockout mice were used to study the effect of MFG-E8 deficiency on SAPinduced liver ***,a specificαvβ3/5 integrin inhibitor,was used to investigate the possible mechanism of *** The results showed that MFG-E8 deficiency aggravated SAP-induced liver injury in mice,enhanced autophagy flux in hepatocyte,and worsened the degree of *** MFG-E8 reduced SAP-induced liver injury in a dose-dependent ***,MFG-E8 mitigated excessive autophagy and inhibited ferroptosis in liver *** abolished MFG-E8’s beneficial effects in SAP-induced liver *** MFG-E8 acts as an endogenous protective mediator in SAP-induced liver ***-E8 alleviates the excessive autophagy and inhibits ferroptosis in hepatocytes by binding to integrinαVβ3/5.

Single transition-metal atoms anchored on a novel Diracdispersive π-π conjugated holey graphitic carbon nitride substrate:computational screening toward efficient bifunctional OER/ORR electrocatalysts

Nonprecious-metal-group single-metal-atom catalysts with bifunctional catalytic capabilities toward the oxygen evolution reaction（OER） and oxygen reduction reaction（ORR） are highly sought after in energy-conversion and storage ***,producing renewable and sustainable energy sources remains ***,single-transition metal atoms anchored on π-πconjugated two-dimensional（2D） graphitic carbon nitride substrates form π-d conjugated conductive channels that enhance the overall electrocatalytic ***,firstprinciples calculations were carried out to design and demonstrate a novel macropore graphitic carbon nitride(gC10N3) as a promising 2D electrocatalyst substrate to support single-transition metal（TM,from Sc to Au）.The "donation-acceptance" charge interaction in the TM-N2moiety effectively balances the adsorption strength of oxygenated intermediates in Ni@g-C10N3and Rh@gC10N3,making them effective bifunctional OER/ORR electrocatalysts with IrO2/Pt-beyond overpotentials being as low as 0.39/0.38 V and 0.54/0.44 V,***,they possess high stability and conductivity and are less susceptible to oxidation and corrosion under working *** guarantees high activity under ambient ***,the origin of the OER/ORR activity of TM@g-C10N3is explained using multilevel descriptors:intrinsic(p,Bader charge,integral crystal orbital Hamilton population（ICOHP）,bond length,and d-band center（εd）.In particular,for optimal Ni@g-C10N3,the clear hybridization between the Ni-d orbital and surface O-p orbital causes the paired electrons to occupy the bonding *** enables OH*to be adsorbed on the Ni@g-C10N3,thereby achieving the highest catalytic performance.

Reynolds-number scaling analysis on lift generation of a flapping and passive rotating wing with an inhomogeneous mass distribution

Insects usually fly by passively rotating wings,which has been applied to the design of flapping-wing Micro-Air Vehicles(MAVs)to reduce mechanical *** this paper,a robotic passive rotating-wing model is designed to investigate wing kinematics and lift generation,which are measured by a high-speed camera and a force transducer,*** addition,flow fields are measured using the Particle Image Velocimetry(PIV).Experimental results demonstrate that passive rotating motion has a coordinative relationship with actively stroking *** the stroke amplitude or frequency increases,the rotating amplitude is *** characterize the active stroking motion,a driving Reynolds number Redrivingis defined,which varies from 68 to 366 in this *** the gravity center of the wing towards trailing ed ge induces the increase of additional torque M,which decreases the wing rotating amplitude and promotes the advance of wing *** find that the timing of wing rotation is gradually delayed and the mean lift coefficient C^(-)_(L)monotonously decreases as *** increasing the additional torque M,C^(-)_(L)is slightly improved and approaches to the lift coefficient of a real fruit fly at driving Re approximately equal to *** instantaneous lifts combined with the vortical structures further demonstrate that the lift generation associated with wing rotation is mainly attributed to the growth of the LeadingEdge Vortex(LEV)and the passive wake capture *** wake capture is influenced by LEV,reversal stroke motion and wing additional torque together,which can only maintain the lift at a high level for a considerable *** high-lift generation mechanisms of flapping and passive rotating flight could shed light on the simplified design of MAVs and the improvement of their aerodynamic performance.

Perovskite solar cells(PSCs)emerge as the most promising photovoltaics(PV)for their high performance and potential convenient cost-effective production routes comparing to the sophomore PV *** printed PSCs with simplified device architecture and fabrication procedures could further enhance the competitive strength of PSC *** this work,we present an in-situ defect passivation(ISDP)assisted full-printing of high performance formamidine-lead bromide(FAPbBr_(3))*** three rapid printing steps are involved for electron transporting layer(ETL),perovskite and carbon to form a complete solar cell on the low-cost fluorine-doped tin oxide(FTO)***-chain polymer monomethyl ether polyethylene glycol is particularly utilized as the ISDP passivator,leading to conformal coating on the rough FTO and defect passivation for both ETL and perovskite during printing.A high efficiency of 10.85%(certified 10.14%)and a high V_(oc)up to 1.57 V are achieved for the printed *** unencapsulated PSCs maintain above 90%of the initial efficiency after continuously heating at 85℃for 1000 h and over 80%of the efficiency after the maximum power point tracking for 3500 *** fully printed semitransparent PSCs with carbon grids(CGs)show average visible light transmittance over 33%and an efficiency of 8.81%.

Collision-free parking recommendation based on multi-agent reinforcement learning in vehicular crowdsensing

The recent proliferation of Fifth-Generation(5G)networks and Sixth-Generation(6G)networks has given rise to Vehicular Crowd Sensing(VCS)systems which solve parking collisions by effectively incentivizing vehicle ***,instead of being an isolated module,the incentive mechanism usually interacts with other *** on this,we capture this synergy and propose a Collision-free Parking Recommendation(CPR),a novel VCS system framework that integrates an incentive mechanism,a non-cooperative VCS game,and a multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithm,to derive an optimal parking strategy in real ***,we utilize an LSTM method to predict parking areas roughly for recommendations *** incentive mechanism is designed to motivate vehicle participation by considering dynamically priced parking tasks and social network *** order to cope with stochastic parking collisions,its non-cooperative VCS game further analyzes the uncertain interactions between vehicles in parking *** its multi-agent reinforcement learning algorithm models the VCS campaign as a multi-agent Markov decision process that not only derives the optimal collision-free parking strategy for each vehicle independently,but also proves that the optimal parking strategy for each vehicle is ***,numerical results demonstrate that CPR can accomplish parking tasks at a 99.7%accuracy compared with other baselines,efficiently recommending parking spaces.

Preparation and characteristic study of Schottky diodes based on Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films

This study uses atomic layer deposition(ALD)to grow Ga_(2)O_(3)films on SiO_(2)substrates and investigates the influence of film thickness and annealing temperature on film *** diode devices are fabricated based on the grown Ga_(2)O_(3)films,and the effects of annealing temperature,electrode size,and electrode spacing on the electrical characteristics of the devices are *** results show that as the film thickness increases,the breakdown voltage of the fabricated devices also increases.A Schottky diode with a thickness of 240 nm can achieve a reverse breakdown voltage of 300 *** film quality significantly improves as the annealing temperature of the film *** a voltage of 5 V,the current of the film annealed at 900℃is 64 times that of the film annealed at 700℃.The optimum annealing temperature for Ohmic contact electrodes is 450℃.At 550℃,the Ohmic contact metal tends to burn,and the performance of the device is *** the electrode spacing increases the forward current of the device but decreases the reverse breakdown *** the Schottky contact electrode size increases the forward current,but the change is not significant,and there is no significant change in the reverse breakdown *** device also performs well at high temperatures,with a reverse breakdown voltage of 220 V at 125℃.

Performance study of vertical MSM solar-blind photodetectorsbased onβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin film

In this work,β-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films were grown on SiO_(2)substrate by atomic layer deposition(ALD)and annealed in N_(2)atmosphere to enhance the crystallization quality of the thin films,which were verified from X-rays diffraction(XRD).Based on the grownβ-Ga_(2)O_(3)thin films,vertical metal-semiconductor-metal(MSM)interdigital photodetectors(PDs)were fabricated and *** PDs have an ultralow dark current of 1.92 pA,ultra-high photo-to-dark current ratio(PDCR)of 1.7×10^(6),and ultra-high detectivity of 4.25×10^(14)Jones at a bias voltage of 10 V under 254 nm deep ultraviolet(DUV).Compared with the horizontal MSM PDs under the same process,the PDCR and detectivity of the fabricated vertical PDs are increased by 1000 times and 100 times,*** addition,the vertical PDs possess a high responsivity of 34.24 A/W and an external quantum efficiency of 1.67×10^(4)%,and also exhibit robustness and repeatability,which indicate excellent *** the effects of electrode size and external irradiation conditions on the performance of the vertical PDs continued to be investigated.

Continuous preparation of strong and tough PVA nanocomposite fibers by mechanical stretching-assisted salting-out treatment

Polymer composite fibers with superior properties such as excellent combined strength and toughness and biocompatibility can be used in high-tech applications of braided protective devices and smart wearable,however the research of high-performance polymer composite fiber remains in the infant *** we present a strategy to produce strong and tough anisotropic polymer nanocomposite fibers with orientedly aligned salt rods using mechanical stretching-assisted salting-out *** prepared nanocomposite fibers have a tensile strength of up to 786±2.7 MPa and an elongation at break of 81%,and the anisotropic fibers exhibit good transmission of mechanical vibration in the longitudinal direction with high *** the fabrication process,the salt builds up into oriented rods during the directional salting process,and the polymer is confined to the 150 nm domain between the rods after the solvent is completely evaporated,giving the nanocomposite fibers superior mechanical *** presented strategy can be applied to the continuous mass production of nanocomposite fibers and is also generalizable to other polymer nanocomposites,which could extend the applicability of nanocomposite fibers to conditions involving more demanding mechanical loading and mechanical vibration transmission.
