The experimental investigations in this paper are focused on the study of luminous radiation emission from coaxial plasma discharge device and the effect of applied transverse magnetic field Btr on it. The experiment was done in (1.5 KJ - 10 KV) coaxial plasma discharge device. The discharge is operated in Nitrogen gas at pressures from 1 to 2.2 torr. Helmholtz magnetic coils are placed outside the coaxial electrodes with its axis at a distance = 3 cm from the coaxial electrodes muzzle, then Btr with a maximum induction ≈ 0.85 T is applied perpendicularly to the expanded plasma from the coaxial electrodes muzzle. The diagnostics used in the measurements include a Rogowsky coil and a photomultiplier tube equipped with light collimator. The experimental results showed that the maximum intensity of luminous radiation is detected at axial distance (side view) z = 8 cm and gas pressure, P = 2.2 torr. It also showed that the maximum value of axial luminous plasma zone velocity = 2.383 × 106 cm/s at z = 11 cm and P = 1.4 torr. In mode of presence of external Btr, the investigations have shown that, at P = 1.4 torr the maximum intensity of luminous radiation (detected at end-view position) is reduced by 17%, the full width at half maximum, FWHM of luminous radiation signal is increased by 40 times, while the luminous radiation signal is delayed by ta = 438 μs. In two modes of operation ta and FWHM have approximately a minimum values at P = 1.4 torr.

In this paper experiments and theoretical treatments [1] on 1.5 KJ coaxial plasma discharge device have been carried out to show, plasma current sheath, PCS, motion in coaxial plasma discharge by studying: the effect of nitrogen gas pressure in the range from 1 to 2.2 Torr and the axial position of PCS along the coaxial electrodes on the modification factor, actual drive parameter, PCS curvature and shape (thickness). Also the dynamics of PCS along the coaxial electrodes due to the combination effect of induced azimuthal and axial magnetic fields induction has been detected experimentally by using a magnetic probe technique.

Aim:Alzheimer’s disease(AD)is a devastating neurological disorder and the most common form of *** date,the cause of AD eludes us,but a number of hypotheses have been put forward to try and understand the mechanisms involved.A series of studies have indicated that environmental factors,such as pesticides,heavy metals,and others can contribute to the development and progression of *** on these data,we determined the impact of pesticides(chlorpyrifos oxon[CPO])on AD‑like pathogenesis in amyloid precursor protein(APP)transgenic ***:APP mice were treated at various times with low‑dose CPO(1 mg/kg/day),in utero(3‑week of gestation),during lactation(3‑week),or as young adults(continuous dosing).Results:Exposure to CPO at all times enhanced neuro‑inflammation and exacerbated oxidative stress in the brain prior to amyloid ***‑treated APP mice showed a decrease in memory and learning compared with untreated APP mice;furthermore,analyses of brain tissue sections and extracts showed an increase in Aβ levels and C‑terminal fragment‑βlevels,a decrease in soluble APPα(sAPPα)levels,and an increase in plaque *** addition,CPO‑treated APP transgenic mice showed a significant decrease in neurotrophic factor levels(nerve growth factor,brain‑derived neurotrophic factor,and neurotrophin‑3)compared to vehicle‑treated APP transgenic *** with galantamine attenuated the effects of CPO by reducing amyloidβlevels and amyloid ***:CPO accelerated and exacerbated the disease development and progression in the APP mice suggesting that pesticides may play a significant role in the pathogenesis of AD.

In this work,the magnetic,dielectric properties and electric modulus of Ce^(3+) substituted cobaltmagnesium(Co_(0.7)Mg_(0.3)Ce_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_4)(labeled as CMCF) ferrite nanoparticles were investigated in *** magnetization decreases from 50.05 to 34.87 emu/g for further substituting Ce^(3+) ***,coercivity increases from 738.22 Gs for the CMCFO sample to 912.10 Gs for the CMCF2 sample,then decreases monotonically to 762.1 Gs for the CMCF5 *** cerium content and particle size play important roles in controlling the magnetization and coercivity of the CMCF *** CMCF nanoferrites are suitable for microwave applications since their high-frequency response ranges from 7.72 to 11.07 *** CMCF nanoferrites' dielectric parameter dispersion exhibits normal *** pristine Co-Mg nanoferrite only has ε' value of 28.25,but the nanoferrite MCMF2 has ε' value of365.03,with an enhancing ratio of 1192%.The conduction mechanism of the MCMF nanoferrites was determined by fitting the σ_(ac) results via the Jonscher power *** 653 K,large polaron tunnelling is thought to be responsible for this conduction process,which is followed by electron barrier hopping at higher ***-Cole diagrams at different temperatures,assuring the contributions of the grains and their boundaries at lower temperatures(653 K) and only the grains at higher *** on our results,the CMCF nanoferrites hold magnetic and semiconducting nature,which can be used in magnetic devices and dielectrics in lower-frequencies or conductors in higher-frequencies.

Nonlinear fractional differential equations provide suitable models to describe real-world phenomena and many fractional derivatives are varying with time and *** present study considers the advanced and broad spectrum of the nonlinear(NL)variable-order fractional differential equation(VO-FDE)in sense of VO Caputo fractional derivative(CFD)to describe the physical *** VO-FDE transforms into an ordinary differential equation(ODE)and then solving by the modified(G/G)-expansion *** ac-curacy,the space-time VO fractional Korteweg-de Vries(KdV)equation is solved by the proposed method and obtained some new types of periodic wave,singular,and Kink exact *** newly obtained solutions confirmed that the proposed method is well-ordered and capable implement to find a class of NL-VO *** VO non-integer performance of the solutions is studied broadly by using 2D and 3D graphical *** results revealed that the NL VO-FDEs are highly active,functional and convenient in explaining the problems in scientific physics.

Heart disease remains a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide,highlighting the need for improved diagnostic *** diagnostics face limitations such as reliance on single-modality data and vulnerability to apparatus faults,which can reduce accuracy,especially with poor-quality ***,these methods often require significant time and expertise,making them less accessible in resource-limited *** technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning offer promising solutions by integrating multi-modality data and enhancing diagnostic precision,ultimately improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare *** study introduces Heart-Net,a multi-modal deep learning framework designed to enhance heart disease diagnosis by integrating data from Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)and electrocardiogram(ECG).Heart-Net uses a 3D U-Net for MRI analysis and a Temporal Convolutional Graph Neural Network(TCGN)for ECG feature extraction,combining these through an attention mechanism to emphasize relevant *** is performed using Optimized *** approach improves early detection,reduces diagnostic errors,and supports personalized risk assessments and continuous health *** proposed approach results show that Heart-Net significantly outperforms traditional single-modality models,achieving accuracies of 92.56%forHeartnetDataset Ⅰ(HNET-DSⅠ),93.45%forHeartnetDataset Ⅱ(HNET-DSⅡ),and 91.89%for Heartnet Dataset Ⅲ(HNET-DSⅢ),mitigating the impact of apparatus faults and image quality *** findings underscore the potential of Heart-Net to revolutionize heart disease diagnostics and improve clinical outcomes.

Healthcare systems nowadays depend on IoT sensors for sending data over the internet as a common *** ofmedical images is very important to secure patient *** these images consumes a lot of time onedge computing;therefore,theuse of anauto-encoder for compressionbefore encodingwill solve such a *** this paper,we use an auto-encoder to compress amedical image before encryption,and an encryption output(vector)is sent out over the *** the other hand,a decoder was used to reproduce the original image back after the vector was received and *** convolutional neural networks were conducted to evaluate our proposed approach:The first one is the auto-encoder,which is utilized to compress and encrypt the images,and the other assesses the classification accuracy of the image after decryption and *** hyperparameters of the encoder were tested,followed by the classification of the image to verify that no critical information was lost,to test the encryption and encoding *** this approach,sixteen hyperparameter permutations are utilized,but this research discusses three main cases in *** first case shows that the combination of Mean Square Logarithmic Error(MSLE),ADAgrad,two layers for the auto-encoder,and RelU had the best auto-encoder results with a Mean Absolute Error(MAE)=0.221 after 50 epochs and 75%classification with the best result for the classification *** second case shows the reflection of auto-encoder results on the classification results which is a combination ofMean Square Error(MSE),RMSprop,three layers for the auto-encoder,and RelU,which had the best classification accuracy of 65%,the auto-encoder gives MAE=0.31 after 50 *** third case is the worst,which is the combination of the hinge,RMSprop,three layers for the auto-encoder,and RelU,providing accuracy of 20%and MAE=0.485.

Life Time Attributable Cancer Risk Estimated Using Scanner Reported Dose Length Product during Chest Computed Tomography Imaging in Young Children

This study aims to estimate the lifetime attributable cancer risk (LAR) for pediatric chest computed tomography (CT) examinations in five age groups using recently published age and region-specific conversion coefficients multiplying the widely available scanner registered dose length products (DLP) displayed on the CT console and hence calculating the Effective Dose (ED). The ED is then multiplied by the International Commission on Radiological Protection (ICRP) published risk factor for LAR. The obtained LAR values are compared with the international literature. Factors that may affect the LAR value are reported and discussed. The study included one hundred twenty five chest CT examinations for both males and females aged from less than one year to fifteen years. The patients reported data are from one single medical institution and using two CT scanners from June 2022 to December 2023. The results of this study may serve as benchmark for institutional radiation dose reference levels and risk estimation.
